Falls Park is really cool in the winter time when it’s covered in snow and when it’s so cold at the falls freeze. I moved to South Dakota five years ago and I love it here
As a Sioux Falls native and a foodie, I'm so happy you went to CH Patisserie and Bread and Circus. They are great representations of the good SuFu has to offer.

This was a great series! I live in Sioux Falls but haven’t been out to the Black Hills since I was a kid. You’ve inspired me to get back out there and explore my home state.
Thanks for stopping through and making an excellent video to showcase what most people would consider a fly over state/city. Lived here my whole life and wouldn’t chose to live anywhere else.
Sioux Falls is the hidden gem of the Midwest. My company (Dakota Tech inc.) stays very busy helping people & businesses troubleshoot technology issues here. Sioux Falls is rated #1 in the nation to set up both a business or trust. The city has massive potential for growth in the next few decades. We have 2 massive hospitals headquartered here as well as an Amazon city. Exciting stuff!

Loved these videos! I have lived in South Dakota my whole life and you showed a few things that I didn't even know about. I am going to share your series with my SD teacher friends to use with 4th graders who learn about SD history for Social Studies. Amazing work covering our state so thank you!
wow, it surprises me watching this from a tourist POV. i love sioux falls😊 i’m from chamberlain right in the middle of the state. glad you guys got to visit !
Also I appreciate you guys being careful around the falls people have fallen in and it's not safe if rocks are slippery you can go climbing but if you do avoid wet rock and be careful
I ALWAYS HIGH FIVE THE BEAR SCULPTURE TOO! Its so cool seeing Sioux Falls from a tourist perspective. I've never even been to the source or bread and circus, but I LOVE ch patisserie
i was born in siouxfalls, SD!! i will be moving to california soon after i graduate this year!!! i’m glad you guys liked it here, but it sucks in the winter time. the falls are so pretty in the winter tho!!!!

Hey guys, great job of covering South Dakota and especially Sioux Falls. As you've mentioned in several of your videos, the general impression of plains states is that there's not much to see. Wonderful job of putting the record straight. Thanks for partnering with SD Tourism. Like how you sometimes team with tourist organizations and do an area in depth. Appreciate how it helps keep you on the road!
We’ve loved exploring the plains states and proving people wrong about them. There is so much to offer! We were so happy and lucky to work with the state tourism board! Those are our ideal partnerships and we’re always pumped when those come together!
Living in Louisiana and one year we took a trip up to South Dakota and ever since then I’ve been wanting to move up there and this video makes me want to even more...just something bout South Dakota was like home
Wow!! Sioux Falls My home town. I saw your black hills video and really liked it. I always tell my friends and family visit the falls. I never been to those restaurants maybe we will check them out. Thanks guys well done hope you guys to come visit again. Love
Thank you for visiting SD! I really enjoy your vlogs! You have shown me things about my own state that I didn't know. Gotta check them out now. I recently discovered your vlogs and plan to check out all of your previous travels. I can't wait to see where you go next! Stay safe and healthy!
Thank you for exploring and sharing my state!!! As a state that gets little to no recognition it’s really cool to see it acknowledged and an outside perspective!
You picked some great local places! I work in Sioux Falls and live close by. Bread and Circus is A+. They have nice outdoor seating, but we are starting to get into snow season. Sioux Falls does have some nice spots to go. Hope you enjoyed your visit!
@@TheHistoryUndergroundI'm a local! Wind Cave is going on season 3 of being closed due to a downed elevator in the shaft. Not sure when it will reopen but Rushmore Cave is a beautiful cave to tour!
Loved your trip across SD! My husband and I are retired and love to do road trips. I grew up in WA and my husband moved there in his Freshman year of high school, so we are high school sweethearts. Anyway, my "home" is WA but we now live in NE and have taken a more than a couple of trips to SD, my husbands home growing up. Love the badlands and Custer etc....... You two are so cute and wishing we could go back in time and be young enough again to do all the hiking that you two do and discovering how beautiful OUR country is! We are retired military so have been around a bit ourselves, wouldn't change a thing but do love to live vicariously through your travels. Thank you and keep up the good work taking me hikes!!
High school sweethearts? That is amazing! We lived in Washington for 3 years and it has our heart. We love it there so much! Thank you so much for watching and virtually hiking and exploring with us! The US has so many incredible spots to explore and we cannot wait to share more!
Wow, I just ran thru your South Dakota series from last Summer. Really nice work showing all kinds of fun historic spots, quirky features and food stops in this "unique" state. I have been looking at a trip to Custer SP but there is so much more to see in the state. Thanks, and safe travels.
Come back and visit the Washington Pavilion, Great Bear, EROS, McKennan Park, Terrace Park, and The Alibi! I’m so glad you went to the Patisserie- yum! Thank you for coming and for such nice things to say about our state!
We are just finishing our South Dakota trip, and your videos were such a great help! Awesome content, and you 2 are so adorable and pleasant to listen to.
The first time we visited Sioux Falls was in the winter months and the falls were frozen and looked dirty. But the next time we went it was beautiful! Hard to believe they are just steps from the downtown! You guys are so adventurous when it comes to your coffees! That one looked like something the Grinch would drink!
We love how close they are to town! We hear at Christmas they do a cool light show, but I am not sure winter in South Dakota is for us lol! Our favorite coffee shops are the ones with unique drinks, we love trying interesting combos!
Wow, I guess this popped up in my recommended after my own South Dakota video. I spent a few days in Western SD but I really wanted to visit Sioux Falls, and this video is the next best thing!
There's some great memes of the difference between macaroon, macaron & Macron that have been doing the rounds for years, but I think the pronunciation of those delicacies has been butchered for a long time! 🤣 Can not wait to find out where you're headed to next. If New England hasn't reopened for the autumn colours, then you guys probably know, my vote would be to head back west, go to Utah and hit up all their National Parks. I've been back teaching in the classroom for a few weeks now and I love coming home on a Thursday as you guys must post your Thursday videos just before I get home. Such a lovely way to unwind. (Caroline... just with a new name xx)
Love the new name!!! 🙌🏼 ooo we gotta find that meme haha. We have 1000% been confused our entire lives. We really wish we were heading back west, but we have a few people we need to see out East, so sticking to this side, but the fall colors should be gorgeous! We are glad our Thursday video timing works well for you 🤗🤗
It weird to see someone visit my town and see it through their eyes instead of mine. Very interesting. The falls (falls park) is super pretty in the winter, they have lights in the water and they put christmas lights on the trees and play christmas music. it’s amazing.
I have been binging your vlogs since I found them! You both are great and love the content. I’m sad 😢 that I’m all caught up and can’t wait for more! we have a trip planned next May and this information will help so much. Thanks for what you do!
What a great series and makes me excited to visit South Dakota one these days. The company I work for used to have a location in Sioux Falls and I am disappointed that I never got to travel there. Can't wait to see where both of you go next! Also, it is always great when Kona gets some airtime.
We love when she does too! It’s sometimes hard to film with her, but trying to include her as much as we can. And we’re happy we’ve gotten ya excited about SD!
I love this couple! So positive and full of energy. That statue of David has been diapered in the past. Don't ask me how I know. There's another Michelangelo statue replica in the city. It's the statue of Moses on the campus of Augustana College.
You guys did a great job in my state! And especially my city Sioux Falls. We love it here and is a great place to raise a family! I love watching your guys videos!! Thank you for such a great South Dakota series! P.s. I had no clue that sculpture place was out there before you get to Sioux Falls lol so I learned some stuff too lol
As someone who has lived here my entire life, 17 years, I've realized I actually didnt even know a lot about this place and some of the great food offered downtown. I always just felt this place was really some boring place that no one really cared about besides the falls. But thank you, for actually teaching me more about my hometown and making me feel more excited to live here 💖 I hope ya'll come visit again someday!

Loved these videos! I have lived in South Dakota my whole life and you showed a few things that I didn't even know about. I am going to share your series with my SD teacher friends to use with 4th graders who learn about SD history for Social Studies. Amazing work covering our state so thank you!
As yay! We are so happy to hear that! ❤️❤️
wow, it surprises me watching this from a tourist POV. i love sioux falls😊 i’m from chamberlain right in the middle of the state. glad you guys got to visit !
Your area was pretty cool too! We visited the dignity statue the day before this, which was beautiful!
Glad to live here. Clean, quiet, place to live.
We really enjoyed it!
Also I appreciate you guys being careful around the falls people have fallen in and it's not safe if rocks are slippery you can go climbing but if you do avoid wet rock and be careful
Absolutely! 😄
I ALWAYS HIGH FIVE THE BEAR SCULPTURE TOO! Its so cool seeing Sioux Falls from a tourist perspective. I've never even been to the source or bread and circus, but I LOVE ch patisserie
Hahahah the bear statue is so fun! And we highly recommend both of those spots. That sandwich was 💣!
i was born in siouxfalls, SD!! i will be moving to california soon after i graduate this year!!! i’m glad you guys liked it here, but it sucks in the winter time. the falls are so pretty in the winter tho!!!!
We definitely are fine not visiting in the winter lol! We are wimps!
Wow all the food and treats looked so delicious. Take care on the road.
Thank you Wendy! 🤗
I live in sioux falls and its so cool watching downtown being filmed. My friends and I walk around downtown almost every weekend so that's really cool also we have some pretty good food here 😋
What is your favorite restaurant?
Thanks for the shout out! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
We loved it! 😄
That is so awesome! We hope you can make it happen!
@@AdventuresofAplusK thank you !
Wow!! Sioux Falls My home town. I saw your black hills video and really liked it. I always tell my friends and family visit the falls. I never been to those restaurants maybe we will check them out. Thanks guys well done hope you guys to come visit again. Love
Glad you enjoyed it! We had a great time in South Dakota!
Thank you for visiting SD! I really enjoy your vlogs! You have shown me things about my own state that I didn't know. Gotta check them out now. I recently discovered your vlogs and plan to check out all of your previous travels. I can't wait to see where you go next! Stay safe and healthy!
Thank you so much Jerome! We are so glad to show you some new spots. 🤗🤗
Thank you for exploring and sharing my state!!! As a state that gets little to no recognition it’s really cool to see it acknowledged and an outside perspective!
Of course! We really loved it and think it deserves a lot of love!
You picked some great local places! I work in Sioux Falls and live close by. Bread and Circus is A+. They have nice outdoor seating, but we are starting to get into snow season. Sioux Falls does have some nice spots to go. Hope you enjoyed your visit!
We had a great time! Lots of cool spots in town!
I've really enjoyed this South Dakota series. There was a lot that I missed when I went through there. Gives me a good excuse to go back :)
So glad you enjoyed it! What are you most excited to see when you go back?
@@AdventuresofAplusK - Wind Cave was closed down when I was there, so that would be nice to see. And I missed the Needles Highway too.
We will need to go back to see the cave too! And the needles highway is a must! 😍
Agreed!! We avoided Rapid City and Sioux Falls due to COVID but now I want to go back again
@@TheHistoryUndergroundI'm a local! Wind Cave is going on season 3 of being closed due to a downed elevator in the shaft. Not sure when it will reopen but Rushmore Cave is a beautiful cave to tour!
I lived in Brandon, SD -- right near Sioux Falls -- until I was 9. Eons ago. I would love to go visit.
Being from south dakota i appreciate the recognition of my home state ❤
You have a great state!
Thank you for sharing my hometown I’ve been living here for 24 years and I will never leave❤️😁
Of course! 🤗🤗
Wow, I just ran thru your South Dakota series from last Summer. Really nice work showing all kinds of fun historic spots, quirky features and food stops in this "unique" state. I have been looking at a trip to Custer SP but there is so much more to see in the state. Thanks, and safe travels.
Thank you so much! We had such a great time out there! Custer state park was our favorite, so we highly suggest going there 😍
Great job. We’ve been to Sioux Falls and really enjoyed it.
We’re glad you enjoyed it there too! 😄
This is an beautiful country with beautiful people
Come back and visit the Washington Pavilion, Great Bear, EROS, McKennan Park, Terrace Park, and The Alibi! I’m so glad you went to the Patisserie- yum! Thank you for coming and for such nice things to say about our state!
Thank you so much for all of the tips! We loved South Dakota!
Y’all should visit falls park in the winter it’s literally a whole show it so Beautiful.
That’s what we hear! Although not sure the winter temps are for us 😅
I love that you made it to Falls Park. Glad you mentioned Shoshone Falls (sp?) as I’ve never been to that.
Nailed it on the spelling! 👍 Shoshone Falls is incredible, highly recommend it (and Idaho as a whole)!
Cool to see you guys come through here. Glad you enjoyed the experience.
It’s a great city, we really enjoyed it!
Thanks for visiting the city I love. Im happy you enjoyed aSioux falls
Of course! 😃😃
I live in Sioux Falls but had to see what food places I haven’t tried! Lol, so thank you
Ah nice! Glad to share some new spots!
Thank you for the South Dakota blogs , very beautiful, informative
We're so glad you enjoyed them!
We are just finishing our South Dakota trip, and your videos were such a great help! Awesome content, and you 2 are so adorable and pleasant to
listen to.
We are so happy to hear they helped! ❤️
Thank you for stopping by, come back again some time.
We sure will!
What an amazing job you did showing the beauty of my home town! Thank you A+K!
Of course! So happy to share it! ❤️
I found your channel after searching for info on S. Dak. You both do a great job of taking everyone along your adventures. Stay safe and have fun.
Thank you so much Kim! We are so glad you found us!
Wow, I guess this popped up in my recommended after my own South Dakota video. I spent a few days in Western SD but I really wanted to visit Sioux Falls, and this video is the next best thing!
It was a cool town! A lot different than the west, but we loved the food and cool coffee shops and parks!
We are glad our Thursday video timing works well for you 🤗🤗
Great video! Looks like a nice place to visit, check out the statues, food, and the arch of dreams! Looking forward to your future travels! Thank you!
There was a lot to do there! It was a really neat city!
It weird to see someone visit my town and see it through their eyes instead of mine. Very interesting. The falls (falls park) is super pretty in the winter, they have lights in the water and they put christmas lights on the trees and play christmas music. it’s amazing.
We’d love to visit at Christmas! Minus the weather 😅😅
@@AdventuresofAplusK very true, harsh winters. and some very bad drivers ahah
I have been binging your vlogs since I found them! You both are great and love the content. I’m sad 😢 that I’m all caught up and can’t wait for more! we have a trip planned next May and this information will help so much. Thanks for what you do!
Thank you SOO much for watching Candace! 🥰🥰 We appreciate all of the support! We can’t wait to share some new adventures soon!
Hahaha we have heard sometimes he gets a bit of cover 🤣 Thanks for the kind words Bill!
Thank you so much Lindsey! So happy you enjoyed the series and that we could show you something new! 🙌
Finally someone can visit this town!
🤗🤗
As someone who has lived here my entire life, 17 years, I've realized I actually didnt even know a lot about this place and some of the great food offered downtown. I always just felt this place was really some boring place that no one really cared about besides the falls. But thank you, for actually teaching me more about my hometown and making me feel more excited to live here 💖 I hope ya'll come visit again someday!
That means so much to us! We are so happy we showed you some new spots! ❤️
Omg fr. I didn’t know we had cool restaurants like this downtown. I have to go visit them now lol
Amber D. Ummmm...Sioux Falls unfortunately is very boring...
@@debbiethorson7772 No one asked for your opinion 😗
Lol...I’ve lived here most of my life, prove me wrong !
I live here in Sioux Falls and I can’t believe you didn’t go see the prison, or battleship memorial, terrace park, covell lake, I could go on, we have a bike trail that goes around and through the city. So much to see. Glad you enjoyed yourselves here. Come back anytime.
It’s hard to see and do everything, but even more reason to come back!
On Friday October 2nd me and some of my family are going to go to South Dakota for 6 days and I am really exited to go for the first time but we have to drive 10 hours to get there
Yay! We hope you have a great trip! Where are you driving from?
