Brother Thank you! I changed the build up to a bit to make it work for me. I used the Barbed Spear instead of the lance and Ibwas able to poise break him alot. Pearl Drake Tailsman, pearl Shield Tailsman, Golden Braid, Dragoncrest great shield. Took no damage.

i appreciate the video greatly im on ng+7 and was struggling. im lvl 300, how would you allocate the points?
No worries bro ...always here to help , for the points 60 vigor should be enough since you wouldn't really be getting hit , 45 faith at least , 20 int , 50 strength and at least 30 dex ...any extra you can just up your endurance a good but so you can get more hits in before having to wait for it to regenerate
I hate that the only reliable way to fight this bosses second phase is shield poking. Like holy shit, reat of the dlc is workable without a shield, but this one? Nah

Yes swap lance for Antspur rapier with bleed ash of war to proc scarlett rot and bleed
You say bloody lance but I never saw a bleed proc only frost procs?
I use frost proc but bleed proc works just the same , a little better in fact..but you can really use any proc just as long as it's a status effect like frost , bleed , poison ..etc
@@itsmenick6537 I spent 3 hours on this boss yesterday and 2 and half hours on him today until I found this build. Copied it and killed him on the 2nd try lol 😂Only reason I died the first try was because he grabbed me twice for the insta-kill. Your a legend for this, this build is broken
