@@Ospreynaitor652 My thoughts on it are that ranni just betrayed them because she got what she wanted. She got us as her suitor for her age of the stars, so iji wasn't really needed anymore and blaidd went mad because he was controlled by the greater will
Radahn of course, but the Beast Clergyman was fighting like he had an ancient grudge against the black knives or something. 🙂He hunted each of them down in close quarters even as they slid and jumped all over. Glorious.
To be fair they are using the power that was stolen from him. Thats why he imbues the rune of death into his flesh for phase 2 and unleashes the power of the black blade against the player when you fight him, he refuses to let the power of destined death be taken from him AGAIN. So he really does have an ancient grudge against the black knives for using that power, as the actual night of black knives only happened because of his previous failure

I personally love the Maliketh fight. As soon as it begins, he dashed out to not be surrounded only to go into a beast incantation that hit a bunch of enemies in different directions since the assassins immediately surrounded him again. The movement was phenomenal and the attacks were something out of a movie
Exactly. I know that Godwin was killed in the Night of Black Knives, but I never understood how did the prodigy of the golden lineage lost the fight when he can kill ancient dragons. What this video demonstrates was that any humanoid character without good AOE that lingers a bit longer will essentially be killed in the Night of Black Knives with the most likely exception being Radahn and maybe Malenia. In fact, if we consider the timeline of the Night of Black Knives, Radahn may not have learnt the meteor move and wasn't that big yet, and Malenia still have the unalloyed needle sealing her scarlet rot, which means even they may not survive the Night of Black knives. It also demonstrates the political power Marika held and the control she had by having this personal assassin troop wielding the rune of death
A lot of these had cool moments or seemed thematically appropriate. I especially liked Morgott’s phase change flinging back all the assassins that had piled on him, and Malenia’s human form not standing a chance but her rot goddess form absolutely destroying them. I feel like you should do one with the assassins fighting Malekith starting in his 2nd phase, just because I really wanna see that.
Radahn's hp dropped so fast I almost thought they'd one phase him somehow. Then he started his fly up animation and all I could think was "all that for a drop of blood?" And Godfrey went down like a true warrior. He almost had that last BK
I was assuming Radhan would annhilate everything on his meteor strike, and Malenia would crush on her second phase. Was sad with the Hoarah Loux, almost got it. And Maliketh... he was probably thinking "never send sheep to kill a wolf".
Makes sense lore wise too. Radahn is the greatest warrior out there, Malenia is the greatest child of a god, Godfrey is the greatest Tarnished and First Elden Lord, Malekith is literally a god (half-brother shadow to Marika, a god), and Radagon is a god (or half god if we assume he’s different than Marika). All of these won whereas the other ones that aren’t as powerful lore wise lost. Even Morgott did quite well and he’s beaten a weaker version of Radahn in the lore
@@YourEmperorStef It's not that Maliketh is a god, he's a being that was purpose-made to serve a god. I swear, Gideon Ofnir with Actual Poise would be one of the most powerful bosses. He didn't even get one spell off during the gank, but I know his DPS is some of the best.
If he didn't get staggered by the fucking wind his damage output could be the most devastating just because of the sheer amount of spells he can throw at you
His choice of spells and incants is actually depending on what spells and incants you have learned. So... Being a dipstick strength tard or dex nerd with no spells except "I cast fist" he can't really fight back all that well either.
With a couple exceptions on both sides, this pretty much just comes down to "Does the boss have AoE?" If they have a decent AoE attack (including Maliketh's beast claws - narrower AoE but high damage), the boss almost always wins. If the assassins AI had even basic AoE avoidance, they would've won every single time.
It really came down to which bosses have poise. Anything that can get staggered will just grt staggered locked. Horah almost won despite having very little aoe because of his poise and high af single target dmg. If his grab attacks worked on summons he would have won
If the assassins had AoE avoidance, they would have easily won. But at the same time, if the bosse actually dodged as much as a person would they could have easily won too.
Even with aoe avoidance, I think Astel and Rykardd would still win. They can't really get on Rykardd in phase 2 and most of their attacks were missing Astel. Their aoe avoidance would obviously not be perfect and both their attacks would be difficult to avoid consistently enough for the Assassins to live through long enough to kill them. Plusadix may also still have a chance but maybe not. Radahn would come down to how many actually avoid Star Drop 1 hit kill lol.
@@DaggerPrince Most of them got hit by the actual impact anyway and it dealt a lot of health so I think they would lose anyway Edit: Actually no I take that back, they could just stand far apart from each other and they should be fine.

To be fair they are using the power that was stolen from him. Thats why he imbues the rune of death into his flesh for phase 2 and unleashes the power of the black blade against the player when you fight him, he refuses to let the power of destined death be taken from him AGAIN. So he really does have an ancient grudge against the black knives for using that power, as the actual night of black knives only happened because of his previous failure

this is the most lore faithful test you have done to date.
I feel like you should do one with the assassins fighting Malekith starting in his 2nd phase, just because I really wanna see that.

i think if only the AI knew not to step into the orange rot glow thing, they wouldve probably won D:
@@DaggerPrince Most of them got hit by the actual impact anyway and it dealt a lot of health so I think they would lose anyway
Edit: Actually no I take that back, they could just stand far apart from each other and they should be fine.
They are weak to aoe attacks. All bosses with strong aoe attacks can easily defeat them. Except for Mohg, no sure it’s bug or what, his blooding attack doesn’t cause any damage in the video.

6:25 was a cinematic masterpiece. Assassin threw the dagger and rushed to kill the boss while he was the one remaining fighting from his group
That looked so badass.
Especially when Astel summons the meteors and the assassin just slowly walks through that rain, resolve set, eyes on the target.
Could've put that assasine agains the horde, she could've slained many gods solo
Black Knife Assassins are all female
@@ordinarytree4678 Didn't know that, I've never played the game. Good to know
The Radahn clip just further supports my theory that Radahn checks your max HP, and then decides how much damage his meteor does
It is fucking insane I think he does that too Lmaooo

I always knew Radahn, Placi and Maliketh would make it. But Astel´s performance and Rotussy Goddess were a big surprise. Ranni plotted such a good plan, poor Godwyn
Placidusax was super fortunate that they hardly tried the weapon art on him. If they did, he'd be wrecked really quickly. They did try to mess up Maliketh, but that pillar he jumped behind saved the day.
Rotussy goddess damn lmao
@@nightscout9979 But they couldn't stagger it out of the annihilation lance which would have gone off regardless of the weapon art.
I expected Astel to do well (not that well though) just coz of amount of AOE he has. Maliketh was actually my biggest suprise just coz well we didnt even see Maliketh in this video clergyman to stronk I guess.

This was well put together and was hilarious, good work friend
Honestly didn't expect Astel to just decimate them but it makes sense. Hell, it makes sense lore-wise as well, what with it literally having destroyed a city.
Also, you can tell why Ranni had to steal the rune from Maliketh. Jesus Christ, that was a slaughter
Black Knives are just Dusk Queen simps. Killing them is a Sunday afternoon hike.
@@leiderhosen7110 tf where did you get this lore
@@RuthwikRao he got it from elden necklace.
That's not ranni it's an image of rennala in her prime that ranni conjures as a fail-safe to protect her mother. And, yeah all demigods feared maliketh.
@@nasyagen that's... not what I was talking about. Everyone knows that.
I'm talking about how Ranni literally *had to* steal part of Destined Death (as opposed to challenging Mal for it since... well, you saw the video)
I loved that with almost all of them, even the ones who won, they got jumped and took a while to respond, effectively or not. The ones who won often did it through brute raw god-like power (Radahn's comet, Malenia's scarlet rock nuke)
EXCEPT Maliketh. Nobody gets the jump on fierce best boi uncle. He was *immediately* ready to throw hands and answered every attempt on him five-folds. It never looked like he was struggling or at a loss for how to respond. No matter how prepared they thought they were, they never stood a chance.
I think that's really in character since they are using the power of the death rune against the guy who literally uses the entire rune as his sword
He fuckin recognized them and had some *words* to say about what those hooligans had done with his stuff last time they “borrowed” it
Honestly I knew Rykard was going to win aswell. Just from the 2 guaranteed phases and the lava pool that surrounds him. It was just a numbers race and TOGETHER WE WILL DEVOUR THE VERY GODS! 10 points to slytherin.
And aatel deatroed them
Black Knives: “You’re trapped, there no way out, and you’re doomed.”
Soldier of Godrick: “What you fail to realize, is I’m not trapped in here with you. You’re trapped in here with me!”
He's no godrick soldier, he is Rick, The soldier of God
Very cruel of Rick to give them that small ray of hope before unleashing devastation.
Rumor has it that not even the Erdtree could withstand a single strike from RIck.
Just for your information, the comma after "realize" is incorrect/unnecessary.
@@googlewolly still grammatically correct, actually
No wonder Godwin got ganked by these guys. When they jump you, you’re dead.
Guranq/Maliketh soloing the black knives was pure gold. Knowing his lore he’s trying to take back what they stole. Could’ve solo’d them in the sanctum too I bet
