A shame he misses so many of those overhead attacks. They should be faster and have their hitbox increased. But yeah, Maliketh and Godfrey deal by far the most poise damage, and it isn't even close. Both only ever need 2-3 hits to shatter everything's poise. He even managed to poise break Fortissax, which I've never seen before as those dragons have insane poise, like 300 or more.

What's always really made me get excited for Maliketh fights is because with him it doesn't just feel like RNG a lot of the time: it feels like everything he does is perfectly calculated, well chosen, he seems to actively dodge some of the more dangerous moves like jumping over Radagon's slam or Malenia's rot, etc. It feels like watching a true pro in action. She healed 6k at least, and all she landed were five swipes before the waterfowl which do indeed only heal her around 300-500 health. But even without that, she would've been dead by 15:24. And Waterfowl kept her in the fight for another 4k health. It definitely heals more than 2k. More around 4-8k if most or all of it connects. I've been spam helping hosts kill her the last two days like a budget Let Me Solo Her. I think I know more about her than you. And one thing I've noticed is that even on a fire build which is her weakness dealing 1101 AR on NG, I cannot out DPS her healing if the host or another phantom gets hit too often, especially if they block her attacks and therefore get hit more. A grab heals for easily 3k or more. The thrust and downward sweeps easily close to that or also 3k. The upward and skywards sweeps heal around 2k. Waterfowl averages on around 4-6k, with a bit more than that if she connects with all of it (very rare), or hits more than one player. やっぱ飛べるのと炎の追加ダメージが強いな。マレニアの最初の花アタックが回避上手すぎる
When maliketh is literally your friend, that helping you cuz you feed him
this was the most agressive maliketh I've ever seen
Him dodging every Placidusax lightning bolt was epic af
Yuh he no hit that shit
Everyone feared Maliketh, for a reason, we know why now
Maliketh is my absolute favorite.
He was so lucky he dodged the scarlet rot
Maliketh with good RNG is the most dangerous enemy.
Maliketh with shit RNG can literally lose to Rennala, and no that's not an exaggeration, I've seen it happen.
@@TheStraightestWhitest Yep, this is the truth. Maliketh is the definition of a glass cannon. RNG can make the difference between flawless victory and instant loss.
This isn’t even the first time I’ve seen him doing that
The best dodge I've ever seen
@@Nameless_Godzilla He may actually have some sort of AI recognizing the Aeonia since it's a move the player can perform too. Whenever he's in his own arena, he dodges that shit.
Interesting seeing Maliketh, the HP deleting machine, fight Melania, the HP restoring machine
SPOILERS the scary part if you think lorewise malekith if he wasn't loyal could actual kill marika and this is without his destined death ability that he attained from marika rival gloom eyed queen leader and god of the godskins i hope theres a way in future dlc we get to see a prime malekith just imagine how terrifying he was back then
Well we fight prime maliketh anyways same case for Melania
@@AALion2004 i don't think so for one malenia passed out during her bloom against radahn one of soldiers had to carry her back and she's been asleep ever since till we came plus unlike the trailer more of her body seems rotted away as for malekith he's been in hiding starving himself only craving death root which i forgot what it does but its definitely not good for the body, rennala wasn't even fully there as she was in a great depression, the only ones we fight that are primed conditions lore wise was godfrey and radagon/marika,and perhaps mohg cause he to was in hiding but was building a army to over throw the golden order.
@@isaiahfaux5674 well Godfrey I wouldn't say is in his prime Godfrey is visibly aged when we see him all white hair and stuff Malenia actually reaches her full potential when she becomes the goddess of rot in the 2nd phase as for Radagon and Marika well Radagon mostly not Marika we never fight Marika is all broken and shattered I would say prime Radagon is when he still had his Sword that Rennala made for him before going to Marika when he was still with Rennala I would say Maliketh is the third strongest Marika the 2nd strongest and the first being the Tarnished 4rth I would say is godfrey
I wake up in 5 hours for a 12 hour shift and I’m rewatching* this. Worth it
All the main bosses in this game look so good. It’s so cool seeing them stand together like this
15:30 Holyyyyy, the timing pf the dodge of malenia was perfect 🔥🔥🔥🔥
That _perfectly_ timed dodge on Malenia's glowy flower BS... **Chief's Kiss**
Maliketh is truly best doggo! ;-)
Should have titled this one as "lore accurate Maliketh vs 20 boss gauntlet"
Heh, Mohg was a second away from finishing his ritual, Morgott spent more time phase changing then fighting, Placidusax could not get a single attack in, Fire Giant was eaten alive by the Destined Death and Malenias Anime Powers failed her entirely
all in all very entertaining
forgot the giant elevator-sized body slam on the good boy doggo 😂
Imagine Maliketh had two phases like Malenia with triple HP... would be fun 😁
Alternate Title: Can Maliketh with half the health he should've had but still 80 poise short of what he should've had SURVIVE 20 Boss Gauntlet?
Best sequences:
3:29 Maliketh and Ghostfrey both going for some nutty dodging
4:14 Pure spectacle as Maliketh jumps into the sword rain
4:50 Maliketh roars before chopping the Giant's ankles to bits in visceral fashion
7:20 Placidusax cannot escape
7:40 Maliketh takes a note out of the player's book and leaps over the AOE with a jump attack
9:08 DOUBLE STUN!
10:27 Headshot!
11:21 ''I NEED HELP!''
12:21 Maliketh narrowly dodges a hit that would've broken his stance
12:37 Cats always land on their feet, but apparently dogs do too, except they spin like crazy in mid-air first
12:45 Godfrey goes apeshit
13:18 More slick dodges
13:30 Even MORE slick dodges
14:37 Sniper Maliketh
14:48 Two insanely tight hitbox dodges in a row create an absolutely stellar finish
15:34 Malenia has casually healed almost a third of her healthbar in just a few hits judging by the damage meter
15:42 The RNG that won Maliketh the gauntlet. Malenia didn't even land a hit in her second phase. And this right here is why Maliketh needs his full arena moveset, which thankfully Nameless Ring gave him. Kudos!
half is a bit crazy
@@adamnave1078 Yeah, mild exaggeration. 50k Health and 160 poise would've been good.
@@TheStraightestWhitestThat's more health and poise than Fire Giant. In no way does that lore accurate
@@gangzilla5716 I respectfully disagree.
I need help 😂
Thats why they all fear "Maliketh the Black blade"
Maliketh should’ve had full health after the Beast Clergyman phase. He would be harder than Malenia I bet.
Alternate title: can 20 boss gauntlet survive maliketh?
Lore accurate Maliketh
The comedic timing of some of these moments is hilarious. Like Radagon going for the grab and just getting stomped
The invisible Pillars
It takes place in Farum Azula, which transcends space and time. So some reality warping isn't even far fetched, LOL!
@@TheStraightestWhitest ...Transcends of what? Of course your make things up. LOL? No, but OLO.
Maliketh casually grabbing the air
Wow, this was epic! Great finale too. Is it just me or do Malenia and Maliketh's abilities kind of counter each other really well?
was sweatin bullets with the Soildier of Godrick fight....
Maliketh can stay on the pillars waiting???? That is so cool actually
When the target disappears, he will not move, I have seen this before.
@@chaossilvermoonits rare tho i have above 400hours i realize it now
This is probably extremely disproportionate but I'd like to imagine this is a pretty close representation of his prime.
Death of the Demigods for a reason.
that's just a buffed past prime Maliketh (and nerfed from specific patch)
lore wise in his prime he is untouched
It's not disproportionate. Malenia is well below him lore wise and has 34k hp and heals 2500hp per hit, so him having 50k health isn't crazy. What's crazy is that he's the size of Radahn but doesn't have at least 160 poise, instead having the same amount as Malenia (80), who is a tenth his size, a tenth as strong physically, and moves fifty times faster and dodges way more.
@@TheStraightestWhitest You think he's supposed to have more health than the Fire Giant? Realistically he'd be about as durable as Godfrey.
@@TheStraightestWhitest"heals 2500 HP per hit" lmaoooooooo she heals less than 2k HP with entire Waterfowl Dance. With regular attacks she heals about 300 HP.
@@suchar7175 I got video evidence of me hitting her for 2644 damage from full health with the Giant Braid Ash of War, and her healing back to full hitting the host in co-op with a single thrust attack, meaning she healed at least 2644 health. So you are wrong. She had accumulated over 24k damage before going into second phase, even though she has only 18k health.
Not sure why you're excusing a boss healing hundreds of health per swipe, all of which come out in a third of a second to begin with, but there it is.
Suddenly i feel a bit better about Maliketh being the boss ive died the most to lol
Fr I’m like “maybe he’s just as hard as melania, maybe that’s why I died so much”
Love how lore accurate he is
Oh That why everybody was scared of him
