Coming from someone who has an 03 Impala and has done this several times just take that dash panel all way off. It makes everything simpler. DO be careful pulling it out though like the man said in video. I've broken panels on two seperate occassions in the past and to get another one that won't be new will cost you $400 and up!

So I want to connect my amp with the radio, would I connect my blue wire from my radio to the white wire from factory harness? I’m thinking of cutting the white wire from factory harness and connecting it to the blue amp wire from radio is that right?
What is the name of the wire you got to plug into the fuse box from the ACC on the unit? That part number didn't come up in a search. (AAF-5-AT) just need to know what to ask for at the parts store
tried that, destroyed my dash but it was old and brittle anyway, picking up a new one soon. Other than that. works great, great video
