Stupid people: ,,Metallica aren't thrash anymore"
Metallica: *Dropping Spit Out The Bone in their mid 50s*
imagine play at your 50's, battery, fight fire with fire or hardwire if you want the new stuff, and they play it
So go away and listen trash
@Da Boi he's just dyslecltelic
Fuck yeah
That's quite a feat, too! I just saw where Metallica has a new album coming "Soon". They didn't say when, or give any information as to how many songs will be on it, or what the Title of the Album would be, just that a new album is coming. Think about this, too:Of the 10 regular studio albums that Metallica has released since their Debut Album, Kill 'em All, came out, everyone of them has gone, at the very least, Platinum! Kill 'Em All (1983)-3,000,000+. Ride The Lightning (1984)-6,000,000+. Master Of Puppets (1986)-6,000,000+. ... and Justice for All (1988)-8,000,000+ . The Black Album (1991)-16,000,000+. Load (1996)-5,800,000+. Re-Load (1997)-4,000,000+. St. Anger (2003)-2,000,000+. Death Magnetic (2008)-2,000,000. Hardwired...To Self-destruct (2016)-1,000,000++.
Man. It’s so sad that Cliff wasn’t alive to hear this masterpiece.
Robertito is there..... Cliff is smiling...
Imagine the experience and the talent of almost 60 years old Cliff. God bless him.
Lars Ulrich I’m sure Cliff is on the side stage banging that mop he called hair along to this kick ass song
Hello brother
If he was alive we most likely wouldn’t have this
James' stage walking had me rolling. He's like a manager up there: "How's it coming kirk? You good? You need Lars to slow it down a bit? Lars, kirk's having a tough time over there, you think you could slow...atta boy, thanks. Rob how's it....nm, you good". Glad to finally see them do this live.
lmao exactly like a manager,it's impressive how he still has the will to play with lars and kirk ,considering that even at this age he's in the top 5 rhythm guitarists in the world .
100% agree. They all seem like adults now, and it's refreshing to watch their "making of" videos and interviews now. They've got their quirks, but they seem to have matured well.
"considering that even at this age he's in the top 5 rhythm guitarists in the world"
You've had enough UA-cam for today man...
Well buddy it's a fact, and everybody in the world knows it except you obviously,James was and is one of the best rhythm guitarist of all time, arguably the best especially if we take into consideration his riff writing skills and the impact those riffs had on metal and hard rock music. His riffs influenced and created like 90% of post Metallica bands son. He's the best and fastest downpicker since the beginning of time and as a special bonus he sings very well while playing.Have a nice day :)

Considering lars was nervous as all hell and freaking out about playing this live, he was amazing. Sounds fucking awesome
How do you know he was scared
have you heard the song? the drums in this dong are crazy
Yea and you can see it on his face. He’s concentrating a fuck ton. But still fucking epic and he’s doing it faster too
This is what is to be expected of a 30 + year professional drummer ....
Yet he still skips half the fills, just an observation, I’m not a drummer..just pointing what I see and don’t hear.
That moment when they play the fastest song on the album faster
You make it sound more amazing than it is. Easy enough song to play and playing it faster means nothing.
@@Bogeyman19DidNotScareMyAss seriously, post a video man? I would love to seen it.
It really isn’t a terribly difficult song to play, especially for guys that have been playing this style of music for going on 40 years. Definitely fun though.
Check the Sepultura live in Barcelona 1991 concert :D
That's to the point of playing the songs too fast.
@@Bogeyman19DidNotScareMyAss I'd like to see u play half this speed.
Spit out the Rob
Nico Borie Hi Nico! Greetings from Italy!
Dude you and your group are amazing keep doing new shit!
wena po man
Nico Borie wena po parasaik
Nico Borie wn cuando van a venir a serena???
5:30 When you're trying to sneak out of bed to get a snack without waking up your parents
hahahahaha man i laughed so hsrd. cheers!
2:57 Then you realise that you don't have a wife
So true
5:26 I love the look Lars gives James. His face just screams “I love this part”😂
Jovan Jeffs nice catch 😂😂😂😂
That's the heaviest riff in the song, i would do the same face playing live lml
Yeah man...you're right
I mean it’s one hell of a breakdown
😂😂😂😂
One of the greatest live bands ever. Worth every cent for a ticket.
ccrosbie33 I think you mean penny.
My top 3 live bands Metallica ac-dc kiss
I see a lot of people slagging on Rob. In my opinion he is an incredible bass player that had huge shoes to fill, and is filling them gracefully while kicking ass at the same time. Long live Metallica, the greatest metal band EVER!!
Newsted did Metallica a huge favor when he quit. Rob is a hell of a lot better than Jason. His vocals are lacking but so what.
David Belmont well said!!
amen to that brother!
Rob should really practice the backing vocals. He's an amazing bass player and I can't take that away from him, but his vocals really suck. Of course they're getting old as time goes but they still have time and they could make their time much better if Lars practiced more etc.
'Newsted did Metallica a huge favor when he quit'
You're joking right ?
He's a slightly more technical bass player, thats it.
Jason was the fire in Metallicas belly, that fire went out when he left.
Rob singing is pretty cool
Also HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE SO MANY COOL RIFFS IN ONE SONG
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
One of my favourite things about 'tallica is the fact each song is a riff packed cacophony of metal! 💚
Oh my goood the madmen finally did it, what a performance!!
"A little bit of Justice album flavor."
- From a shitless slave region of humanism being suffered under hoon-tribe-originated-parasitism and kiki'she' collectivism which is known as the name 'Korea', whose dwellers always steals and begs from Japan's original history which clearly inherited sincere humanity in Ancient Kudara more than its 'original' dwellers in hometown.
명순홍 Nigga wat?
Thanks God some heavy metal!
metfan4l they played it again for us last night in Glasgow. I absolutely lost my shit when i heard the intro!
metfan4l I would say this is one of Lars worst performances ever.
Out of time the hole song, no db and the snare fills are just awful.
People actually pay 100 bucks to hear this shit. Amazing
1:11 I'm surprised James allows pyrotechnics that close to him given his history with them.
hahaha
Damn, just noticed that.
What's not kill you, makes you more strong.
Becase he is a damn Viking\m/ \m/
Not funny.... 😂
I was a 80’s Metallica only guy until I saw this clip
I’d be lying if I said this didn’t kick ass
Keep on charging Metallica, sky’s the limit!
Spacestud123 *blip blip*
I"m still an "80"s Metallica guy , these days i"d rather listen to bands like Sasquatch , etc.........
My favorite Metallica song hands down and I just heard it this year after getting back into Metallica not listening to Metallica since st anger
Anyone who says Metallica doesn’t thrash anymore never listened to the B side / CD2 from Hardwired. This goes hard.
Best song they've put out in decades.
Yes, but also Atlas, Rise!
Yea I also really like now that we're dead and here comes revenge even confusion and halo on fire are real good. This is prob the best one overall on the newest album though. This is as thrash as it gets for the naysayers saying they don't do thrash anymore. They used to say that now I've seen them say stuff like they're just trying to sound like the 80s version of themselves. Isn't that what we've been wanting them to do since the 80s left? Lol. Some people are never happy. This shit kicks ass
I love how this performance is the most recent and still the most viewed live hardwired song by a long shot. shows how awesome this song is
David Soule mainly because of the solo bass riff and the fact that it follows their thrash roots
Comfortably one of their best songs they have ever done in my opinion, its so fucking good
Those guitar harmonies between Kirk and James will literally never get old. As soon as I heard that they finally played it I rushed to the video so I could see this brilliance.
James “Riffmachine” Hetfield, everyone!
the best
James Riffield
Mechanix xD Yes!!!
DeadEndKing
James is the fucking champ man. Godly rhythm player.
The smile on James's face at 4:23 is worth a thousand words and it makes me tear up man. He and Kirk have been together for 30+ years and they still fucking kick ass 🤘🤘🤘
Absolutely!
Kirk and James also have a really tight bond. Kirk was one of the only people that visited James in rehab the first time he went
It's insane to me that some people can put Kirk Hammett down. The fact that the man not only has to keep up with James' riff hand, yet he does it and does it well, is a paramount indicator of how awesome he is at what he does.
Yah that’s what I think because he is honestly at the same level as james
Almost 40 years actually 🤓👆
This is the first Metallica song to give me chills since I first heard Dyers Eve over thirty years ago when I first got ...And Justice For All on cassette. After twenty years I never thought that it would happen again. I am glad that I was wrong. This song is amazing!!
Same here bro
Kirks creeping death solo live in 1991 didnt give you chills?
Same here as well
For me it's the first song to do this since the Black Album. Savage.
Avlxtually death magnetic had a few amazing songs !
This happening on the first live Metallica gig I had ever managed to attend was a dream. This was one of the best moments of my life.
Likewise! Hearing my favourite Metallica song played live for the first time at my first ever Metallica concert? I died. Luckily others in the moshpit helped me back up.
Never thought the pirate king would be in a Metallica gig, how odd
It's the first time they play this song live and it's already a classic!!!
Jimmy Koseidi
It's arguably the most requested song off the new album. No wonder the crowd exploded when they played it live for the first time here.
I'm so glad James got most of his voice back. It's great to hear him sing like this again.
My goldfish listened to this... now it is a double bass
Vini Silva funniest thing I've seen today....
Not gunna lie but that was pretty dope
dead
hahaha
Okay that was actually pretty funny
This is amazing. Rob's backing vocals and James' voice, especially when they shout the lyrics together, the sick guitars, the pounding of the drums all sounds epic. The song is sick and was well played first time live, it felt full of energy and I felt pumped up just watching the video, it must be insane to actually be at the concert.
Yeah, it was insane, man! Was in 3rd row there \m/
I think at their age they kind of "turn it on" for important stuff. I've seen live shows where they play like dogs and then have performances like this.
Vitharrlax once upon a live time
Rob backing vocals give it a punky Suicidal Tendencies vibe, people dont realize Rob is very thrashy but also groovy which people might think is a goober
Kirk's solo is so awesome in this, it sounds like something off of both Kill em All and Ride the Lightning
Kirk fucked up tempo sory but he is changing tempo like 4/4 to 6/4 from 180 to 170.
@That One Guy ofc I agree with you but he is a professional musican andmhe wrote this. Kirs played much harder solos. This is a little disappointment.
@That One Guy It was not a matter of exhaustion. He rushed and started playing in the wrong beat as he ended the easiest part of the solo sooner, it's pretty obvious the problem with him is he doesn't study his own solos as hard as he should.
@@bartekdetnith9979 It kinda sounds like he didn't practice it. He can do better.
Well tbh all Kirk does is solo and seeing as they have one of the biggest musical catalogs in music history is say it’s understandable why Kirk somewhat forget a few pieces of a solo.
4:28 can we just appreciate how well Kirk is keeping the rhythm here?
Good catch
simpliest part of song lol. And right after that in solo Kirk lost it totally.. felt like he forget what part's next in this song :)
Kirk is kicking ass here!
@@schmeisel_level5560 what are you on about? All he did was pull the tremolo lever all the way to finish the effect and not break it half way through, after that, he kicked right back into the rhythm section with James. No need to hate when there’s no need to hate🤗
Honestly, Kirks rhythm playing is something i overlooked for a long time lol.
Robert Trujillo has now been in Metallica longer than Jason Newsted was.
Nathan Woodley and had nowhere near the same impact
james' vocals were 1000× times better
jason's sorry
Robert is better than Jason ever was. They can play songs from the Cliff era now with Robert.
Allen Bass they played just as much kea, rtl and mop with Jason as they have with rob
Saw them in 86 at age 14 and still rule metal 30+ years later.
Rob's Tone is amazing on this tour. His bass sounds like thunder and forest fire.
THE CHORUS, MUSICALLY, IS ONE OF THE BESTS I'VE EVER HEARD. IT JUST MAKE ME CHILLS AND FILL MY SOUL WITH AMAZING EMOTIONS. THIS DEFINITELY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES METALLICA'S SONGS EVER!!! 🤘🏼🎶
@kdk SORRY I'VE NEVER HEARD ABOUT THIS BEFORE. CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME, PLEASE??
I always knew Metallica was back with this album, but Jesus. This performance just raised that assurance 1000%
Honestly, Metallica has been back with Death Magnetic (especially if you like SOTB) people just never gave it a chance because of St. Anger
Time Lapse Videos they never left
Justin Lorusso Death Magnetic was a start, but you can't say that they were back with that album. That is, unless you were a fan of lulu. Death Magnetic wasn't as great as it was made to be by most. Yes, it was much better than St. Anger and lulu, and it had its great songs here and there. If Metallica was back after Death Magnetic, they would've never released the worst album in Metallica history right after it, lulu. They would've said, hey, this album is pretty dang retarded and ether trashed it, or just released it as a Lou Reed album.
Time Lapse Videos i guess you're right man
nevertheless Metallica Still kicks ass and always will 🤘
Justin Lorusso Agreed! Metallica Forever!
2:52 That bass solo! The performance was insane, great job.
multiestonian I'll be the bad guy and say that It's a Riff, and not a solo. Also, this performance is very good! \m/
I wish it was higher in the mix, it was hard to hear, but yeah, was awesome.
The band Metallica was formed 36 years ago. They still are the greatest metal band of all time.

Comments you'll be bound to see:
"Jason is better than Rob"
"Put down your phones!"
"Omg Lars is so bad"
And something about Napster.
Jason is like the most overrated bassist in history lmao
So was cliff
You forgot kirk wha paddle
Yes ffs, put down those fckin phones. Bang your head, mosh it up. Do anything but standing there filming with a phone. You can do that at a bieber show or sumit silly like that. Jason was awesome i think. I'd give anything to turn back time 'n Jason stays 'n Rob never joins. But oh well, at least Metallica is still kicking ass.
But Jason is so much better than Rob
They spat it out!
Finalllllly !!!!!

! That's how good this show was!
Everyone hating on Lars, so go figure that he composed a lot of the best Metallica songs with Hetfield. He was awesome here. Lars is badass. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Kaffekaffe Kaffe Not badass. Just bad. Furthermore with a shit character
Ni Bad ni badass, Metallica ne serait pas ce qu'il est aujourd'hui sans lui...
@@jooongesoeinfeuerball8963 I actually kinda like him.
@@big_bicep_bill7594 And that's good, you're not a brainless bandwagonner.
@@Omar_E11 thanks! I can see why people don't like him but I enjoy his sense of humor.
Pretty sure that was the best live debut from the Hardwired album
Cameron Cummings Agreed. And it only gets better from here. Hardwired live debut was amazing though, gotta admit.
in my opinion manUNkind was the best, it was a perfect debut, just like in studio
EPHEMERAL Hetfield fail in the intro was bad. They need play Manunkind again.
Hardwired sounds better live than in the studio by far, except for Lars double bass parts.
Cameron Cummings nah Manunkind was better my opinion
Jason will never sing backing vocals again. Lars had some weak years. So did James. Make peace with it and move on. Enjoy how remarkable they are 36 years later.
Your comment should be on top of their many songs, so that people (not actual fans) will stop complaining about them and and how they're actual humans.
CROWD OVERTHROWN!
PUT DOWN THE PHONES!
Charles Russell please shut up
+Charles Russell
I love how people nowadays bash people for recording concerts, but they praise all the people that recorded their concerts in the 80s and 90s.
Plus Metallica have always been a pro-bootleg band. That was how they used to get known around back in the days. The only difference is that today everybody have a phone to record the show where it used to be a few people who were able to get recording equipment in.
MElmo you couldn't be more wrong
A bootleg is an illegal copy, you could consider file-sharing the same. remember the whole Napster thing? They aren't pro any more I think. Not judging anyone just an observation.
They haven’t sounded this good since the early 90s, incredible.
Haven't listened to any album since reload, didn't even listen to load. Went to see them a couple of weeks ago listening to kill em all on the way, expecting them to be meh.. and haven't stopped listening to this album since... Awesome that they regained a bit of that magic 🤘🏻
@@SeptemberSeventeenth idiot
@@efwewfwef1549 ??????
@@efwewfwef1549 You maybe wanna elaborate on that?
I mean, Load was a pretty damn good record.
Rob' s vocals do sound better on this version than the cell phone recordings
Much better.. I wonder why
Mason West I think his voice sounds louder here
phone videos sound like shit bro nothing sounds good
His backing vocals sound better here because cell phone recordings make everything sound like shit, not because he overdubbed anything before we go down that line
They've mixed it louder for the video than what was coming through PA live, simple as that.
Recommendation: Headphones and full volume
Samo Jakub followed by hearing loss.
@greatpower30
Grow stronger ears
😁😁😁😁 I am about to loose my ears lol.
Thx I have tinnitus now
Doing this right at the moment
At this age they got more speed than most younger bands who could never keep up with Metallica.
erwinees it's absolutely crazy how consistent they still are through all those years
erwinees havok, evile, vektor, warbringer, skeletonwitch, witchery prove otherwise
They are good but lets not overrate them
Good point brother
Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, Iron Maiden just to name a few
2:50 a rare moment when James actually up-picks
I think they decided (or just James playing live, idk) to play it this way because this chord suits the song/riff better when it's upstroked ! This chord sounds better to me up-picked than down-picked in my opinion also...I'm a guitar player 🤷🏻♂️
@@Legofan1401DatFotherMucker yeah your right I'm lerning this song right mow
Hes up picking for the whole verse riff
James use up stroke for power chord
He does okay power chords up pretty often for the sound. I think during fade to Black second part to
Help me I can't stop, seen this video 10 times already
falling deep into dementia
Yeah .. it cant be stop.. still keep playing it
Lord of the Reins im counting its been 100 times
I’ve been watching it on repeat too, it’s perfect 🤗
If you pay attention, at 5:28, you can see Trujillo is ready to become a Crabillo.
Pinch that bass, Trujillo, you're the best crab.
Rob's bass walk. His literal walk. Love it!
Now please play Here Come Revenge please !!!!
TheSlyls did they played Am i Savage?
STILL WAITING FOR AM I SAVAGE!!!
Eddy malou mais oui c'est clair
TheSlyls Please!!!
Murder one
I swear, when Kirk hit last solo, i burst into tears how good he can play live after all these years.
Mksnek1265 maaan, dont spoil me ! 😂😂 I am realist but its really good played
Mksnek1265 could you do better?
...Kirk's skills have (due to his illness) degraded alot since 2010.
That solo was so sloppy, it hurt my ears. I can't do better, but that's about how I play every solo.
every average guitar player that knows the pentatonic scale can play it...
I bet 17-15, 14, 15, 14, 15-17.... so complicated...
OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED
If Jason was still around he'd probably sing this song entirely, live.
Jason's vocals could provide more "depth" to it.
like seek and destroy
God i would've loved to hear Jason do this one
Jason
Spit out the Bone With Grove Vocal of Jason Newsted
Amazing 🔥🔥
You say that like he’s dead lmao
At 4:40 the woman is like.." i'm waiting for nothing else matter & enter sandman" 😂
Imran Hakim She is like"Is there something in my hair?" Wake up woman!!!!
Imran Hakim
she put up the horns with a thumb too lol.
Like it or not they will always play nothing else matters every show unfortunately
What's with the hate for "Nothing Else Matters"?
That intro was a dope build
The bass is brutal !! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dadou Power so satisfying!
Yeah the bass guitar is infernal good job rob
This is the kind of stuff we'd like a full album of. They can obviously still write good shit when they want to. Best part is at 5:08. That riff is bad ass.
If 0 , octave , 3212 3212 is epic then so is C G Am F
@@WoockerSocket2 yeah man sometimes the easiest shit is the best. Look at Panteras walk. That main riff is one note being bended and that's it but it sounds so good.
They've never, I repeat, never had a full album of this kind of stuff.
@@PikeBishop1 never said they did. I said this is what kind of material that we'd like to see a full album of. Meaning songs like this.
@@manicmurph My point was how can we expect a full album of thrash like this at 60+ years old when they didn't have an album of full thrash at the peak of their powers in their 20s. Which, by the way, in my opinion is what made them stand out. They weren't just a thrash band; they were metal that incorporated thrash elements with catchy, melodic and brutal songwriting.
Easily one of the top ten Metallica performances of all time
Was there up in the nose bleeds. Saw a lot of criticisms about the crowd being flat. I can say that it wasn't. Counted 6 separate pits circulating like satellite imagery of hurricanes on a weather forecast during this. The moment that intro started kicking in, was a buzz to say the least...
For me one of the best songs that Metallica has done until today
3:59 - It's official! Kirk has become the Wah!
Hes become one with the wah
He let the wah be with him.
who else thinks, that grey hair is looking better on james then his dyed blonde hair?
Max Y and kirk’s Santa Claus hair is badass
I think Kirk suits his grey hair, that and his vibrant wardrobe of clothing make him more powerful
Spit out the bone!!!! Please, please, please come to Mississippi!!!!
Tiger Blood 1978 hey man I was there with u, where were u at?
this is now one of my favorite Metallica songs
James is one of those old man badasses who you don’t want to mess with
And suddenly people realise they have nothing left to live for.
Fixxxer.
Dyers eve?
Here Comes Revenge, then I can finally rest in peace.
Well on second thoughts, I think To Live Is To Die is highly due now.
Stefan Wikander Yeah last time 8 years ago.
These men are in their 50's???? AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!!
Damn right, Mid 50's even.
ROB KILLING IT ON VOCALS FINALLY!!! GOOD JOB OLDMEN!!!
The song is amazing. I also love the hardwired album.
At 4:27 min, James looks like such a beast and a badass, like it's the 80s and 90s all over again!
I was looking at his posture and I realized that's the same outfit as the Seattle 89 era, and the same James. Just less hair and more belly lol
I'm making jokes but hell I wish I could age like him!
Emilio Magnaguagno haha true that, James Hetfield for life! Rock on 🤘🤘
Its the black beater!
Ive never clicked so fast in my entire life
THIS is the kind of music Metallica is known for. Some 36 years later and listen to them. Frigging awesome song. Excellent throwback to the Master of Puppets era.
guibox3 More like the Justic era.
guibox3 absolurely right. Cheers from Finland the metal capital of the world
guibox3 death magnetic was pretty close to the justice era
@ Chromosomes For some reason, though definitely more thrash than their other albums since Justice, Death Magnetic didn't have enough that really grabbed me or hooked me melodically or structurally. Not like Hardwired...
guibox3 I thought it was pretty good. Hardwired had more differ in songs though for sure.
I was there that night. They broke the record for capacity and my ears are still ringing from that night. XD
I was at this show. I went to leave just before the encore so I could get the train. Then I heard the SOTB riff and had to run back inside.
Nick Wilkins i went to leave during the encore on the first london but they played soddin sandman ur lucky
if u leave....are u allowed back inside?!
why leave.....😐
No man they said once you leave u cant get back in

That's the best first debut Live ever man, you guys are lucky in London. I wish they performed here at my country but eh... Anyways awesome performance ever!!!!!
We really were lucky! I'm even on the video - 2:27 :)
The that was just your life debut was better.
I live in England and i wish i had gone up to London to see this. Would have been 2 great first times, seeing Metallica and Spit out the bone live.
Personally, i prefer the Escape debut
MetalAppleSauce respectfully I agree with that cause it was the one song next to dyers eve that everyone wanted to hear them play it live for the first time also frayed ends of sanity I hope they play Fixxxer one day aswell
Kirk and Lars have definitely been practicing. That actually was an awesome performance.
Okay so play Lars is part and then play Kirk's part and upload them to UA-cam and let's see how your rendition is and then do it at 60 years old
Yeah they've been practicing for the last 30 plus years I think not sure though
HarvesterOfShadows Compared to what Lars sounded like around 2008 and how kirk was playing in early 2016, this was good. And regardless, Lars nailed the part at 5:45. This song is the fastest one they've written in a while and they're getting old. It sounded good.
Unknown Hardwired is at least 20 bpm faster than this song. Secondly Lars didn’t play the double bass part because he’s LAZY. Plain and simple, has nothing to do with age because if his age was an issue he wouldn’t be playing these songs in the first place.
Love the man, but he doesn’t practice. Hasn’t been for the last 20 years
Krooksbane Yes, the intro drums are recorded, also.
Spit out the bone

Plug into me and dedicate
Plug into me and I'll save you from emotion

All feelings
You terminate for me
Disappear like man was never here
Long live machine
Our future supreme
Your man overthrown
Spit out the bone, yeah

The lyrics are badass. And people say metallica lyrics are childish and without true meaning etc. Boy was they wrong.
They never get old
HAZIR YİYİCİ PEZEVENK They are old... :c
But they're like 50 something years old
I feel like rob doesnt age older since the st anger
that song is made for blood, sweat, tears and arenas like justice era!
I go along with the first three points but apart from that this song is made for a tiny underground metal bar with 100 insane drunk metal-heads kicking the shit out of each other while raging to this song!
Even though I always loved Metallica, it's been a while since I felt that way while listening to one of their songs... \m/
Glad they can still pull that off! :)
Completely dropped my math homework for this 🤘🏻
Same
black tight jeans, black tight tank, white gibson flying V .... the old school Metallica's spirit right there!
My lord, Hetfields vocals are insane.
mgdarenz the part after the first solo is my favourite part, especially his last "terminate for meee", like nails on my arms 🤘🤘🤘
Rob's vocals are very Punk and I'm okay with that.
does "very Punk" mean "mediocre at best"? He sounds like an average joe, swallowing half the words.
Corey Herrington Rob should be banned from singing
@@jlbennit175 I'm sorry, I didn't know there was a specific way Rob has to sing. Maybe if you're unhappy with it, stop listening!
Dead Man's Revenge see I didn’t say I don’t like Metallica, but Rob should never be within 20 feet of a microphone. Perhaps that’s a little more simpler for you.
@@jlbennit175 how about you leave that decision to Metallica. And if you don't like it, again, don't listen. It's that simple.
Never clicked on the notification so fast
Atlas, Rise! and Spit Out The Bone have to be some of the best Metallica period! Great to see these guys still killing it!
Not sure what everyones complaining about. That was fucking heavy.
RickGrimes41 oh look...Rick Grimes being critical. SHOCKED! Lmao
People complain
Their 55 fucking years old. Id say pretty awesome.
because it's the "cool " thing to do. Got to hate on Metallica cuz it shows your cred, yo! I admit, Rob's backing vocals...are not his strong suit. But I've heard some pretty crappy ones from Jason over the years, and people slobber all over his stuff for some reason. *shrugs*. If I were to have a "knock" it's that I wish Metallica didn't have to learn their own songs... I am not a fan of how Lars constructs the albums, overall (I prefer Maiden where they actually play through the whole song in the studio, instead of playing cut and paste), but end of the day as long as they eventually hit the stage like this? I'll keeping going to their shows every chance I get.
Wait, was anyone complaining? Fuck em if they were!
Metallica you nailed it !!! Wow it's an absolutely awesome performance. Every fan knew that it would take time but to finally bring the level as high as the studio version or even better.
It wasn't that good. It was sloppy and filled with mistakes.
Show us your live version Rob
God if you went to the first night but not the second I feel bad for you.
Michael Conroy So glad I went to the second show! The setlist was much better in my opinion
the first night had Throught The Never, Dream No More and Damage Inc.
both nights had killer sets. If you live in London you should have gone to both nights
I went to both nights and thought the first night had the overall better setlist, the second night didn't really take off for me until this; but they fuckin NAILED Spit so hard that it made the second night completely worth it regardless, genuinely fantastic performance
Michael Conroy Feel bad for me
first night was amazing, but seeing the setlist for the second night hurt my soul
I love you Metallica best
POULET _FOU and i swear
Kirk reminds everybody who he actually is! Legend!!
Yup, destroyer
2:08... The real reaction and the real fan

Wow, Rob really has improved. Great voice James, Kirk great job, Lars.......Amazing, wish he did the drum roll, but still great. Love Metallica since the Kill em all album. I know I wasn’t born when the kill em all album came out, but I love every song, album, and concerts they’ve done, maybe st.anger isn’t my favorite but few songs were okay, but I appreciate everything they’ve done for the music industry. Metallica are definitely one of the greatest metal bands of all time, maybe even the greatest metal band of all time, but hey everyone has their own opinion, and I have my own.
Emø Jøhnnie im with you! One of the best live shows I've had to privilege of seeing live. Not only are they amazing musicians, but real humans. What they're going to do for the Bay Area is just amazing. And like you said about the music industry. they've inspired a ton of bands, They have written some of the best riffs metal has ever seen (Master, Creeping Death,Blackened,One,Ride the lightning and Enter Sandman for those who hate the black album lol. Even stuff like load/reload/garage i love because i can appreciate all styles they've tried. I can't wait to see them again. \m/
