To me Spit is right there with blackened, battery, disposable hero’s and creeping death. It’s amazing they put that caliber of a song at this stage in their career.

@@moonke77 When I play it on guitar, I lose interest at around 2:45 mark. I never bothered to learn the rest, it felt uninteresting. Same with Confusion, it gets boring to me after 2nd verse and chorus.

This is seriously one of their greatest songs. It stands with any of their greats imo. Best song on that album. The 4:00 riff is one of the most powerful riffs of all their songs. Powerful.

04:43 - 04:46 James doing a "ha ha! " and "oh yeah!" perfectly synchronized with the guitars gave me chills. I'm so glad to see James, Kirk, Rob and Lars with that huge amount of energy. These guys giving us such good moments for free and in such professional quality is just too good to be true.

the performances have been amazing on the 72 seasons tour this year as well, I'd say stronger performances than even 10 years ago. They must have really good trainers/coaches etc. with them or something

I've been watching him perform for 19 years now and it still blows my mind every time how he's able to sing while playing these intense riffs extremely precisely. During most of the chord changes he's not even looking at his left hand. In terms of the look you guys said it all. In my opinion he is THE best frontman of any musical act past present and future. He should change his name to James GOATfield

We can all dream. His backing vocals were insane. Robert is great, but I have to say that Jason's bassplaying itself is also underrated. He was quite amazing, not by any means worse just because he uses a pick. Check his bass audition here on UA-cam from the first time he played with the band. The bass is loud and you can here how detailed and perfectly in time (with an out of time band) his playing is... the FIRST time playing with them. I actually think the attack of the pick fits even better with Metallica than finger style playing.

And true I did hope too that he would be a much better Drummer after all that free time, but it was a big disappointment. But as I said for Lars standards it was good, compare this to The Thing That Should Not Be from 2019 or something, that was like hard to even listen to, he was really really sloppy. He still ain't perfect, but better than 2019 for sure.

After the 2019 relapse, the pandemic, Glad to see Metallica touring again. They never let anything stop them from doing what they love! It's also great to see James looking healthier plus younger than ever before!
Por fin cumplí mi sueño de ver a Metallica en vivo. Excelente concierto y experiencia, aunque quede con gusto a poco ya que faltaron muchos clásicos como: Battery, Motorbreath, The Four Horseman, Fade To Black, Orion, Sanitarium, Fuel, Turn The Page, Whiskey in The Jar, entre otros.
Espero que no demoren tantos años en volver a visitarnos.

Yo creo que a ellos no les interesa tocar sus mejores canciones ya que saben que en Sudamérica van muchos caretas que solo conocen los temas más conocidos como master, sad but true o nothing else matters. Quizás esté equivocado pero sé que acá se escuchan otros tipos de música

Recuerdo que el 2010, 2014 y el 2017 fue una fiesta, todos locos saltando y mosheando, no sé qué pasó esta vez que el público estuvo prendido en las primeras canciones y después se apagó, quizás sea por las filas eternas que habían para entrar o simplemente porque el público de Metallica creció y ahora van más familias, en fin, al menos la banda estuvo excelente, el sonido brutal. De los mejores conciertos de mi vida, solo espero que para la próxima vez que vengan toquen las 18 canciones de siempre y no solo 16.
Yo eh ido a 5 conciertos la primera vez en el 1992-2000-2003-2008 y la última este año en Las Vegas y la verdad si los fans ya están más mayores y no tan agresivos como antes jajaja

If I am honest, Rob is an amazing bassist, but sucks on vocals. Tired of pretending he doesn't butcher the backup vocals. Now Jason, that guy is on another level. I’ve spent some time in this wormhole of quality videos of Metallica’s recent shows and have decided to buy myself a ticket for their concert in Munich. It’s going to be my first live concert in over six years. I’m really excited, and it speaks volumes, because I have already forgotten how it feels to be excited about something I plan to do alone due to my chronic depression. Thanks to Metallica, I now have a reason to stay here at least for another two weeks.

tercer concierto 2010-2014-2022 pero este último fue realmente fabuloso cerca de las torres de audio la batería ,bajo y guitarras me volaban el cráneo las luces ,pantallas y fuegos fueron increíbles I love you metallica 🤟🇨🇱

The one thing that I was missing on the album version of this song was James giving YEAH! at the end of each "Spit out the bone", and I am delighted that he is doing it on live performance :D

@@kamynsk3263 yes, the sound is more clear but they have better recording equipment today and the protools etc which they use to make things sound better on these official live videos. Still the quitar tone and Lars's drum sound were better 30years ago. I have to say IMHO that their best live sound was during Load and Reload '95-'97, and then after Garage Inc. '98-'99.

Lo mejor es haber disfrutando este concierto con mi hijo de 15 . Que toca puro metallica en guitarra y su pelo largo El disfrutó mucho. Aunque estuvimos un poco lejos. Pero gritamos, saltamos y cantamos todo el rato. Grande metallica . Si vienen denuevo espero estar así de cerca .
