Can’t help but listen to this and think how Metallica just lost something when Jason left. With Jason it was like they had two lead vocalists at times. Jason brought a layer of intensity and aggression to the live shows that hasn’t been matched since. Rob is a monster bass player but even 20 years later I can’t say they’re a better band for him in it. If I had the choice it would be Jason back every day of the week
You are right, it is way too loud. It needs to lower and raise more. But it is REALLY REALLY good. I swear, I would pay for a separate without the crowd noise. For real.
Would have been cool to do EVEN MORE Jason vocals like what they do with Rob live. But I can't complain this is amazing and basically the version of this song I always wanted to hear since the album came out. Thanks for making that happen.
The last few minutes are epic with this style. Just goes to show that this song and the album in general is just as great. We just needed to look at it through an older lens.
Love "what if" Metallica AI Metallica covers, this and another channel I listen to have the best versions, what I love about these ones is not only Jason's backing vocals but the vocals and instruments totally match the era, he doesn't sing it one for one like in the official track and just have the AI overlay classic James over it, it has unique pronunciations not present in the official one which really makes it unique and sets it apart, shows you put in time and effort to really get the classic 90's vibe! awesome work! I think with the advances in text to GIF/video we may even get an AI cover of Metallica actually playing these things live again as if it did happen in the 90's or whatever other classic 'Tallica era!
And some dare to say Metallica sold out. No, they just arent in their 20's anymore, but they still make fantastic music and perform great shows. We should appreciate them while they are still here
🤯🤯 this is outblowing , how did you reproduce the finest details of the show. It seems that Spit out the bone had been really played at Seattle. Congratulations, this is a masterpiece
Come on….this is so fuckin nice!!! and Jason, come on!!! Love it man, (this little faster fits sooo perfect into the 89-era) thank you!!! Would love to hear Dirty Window, St. Anger and Bleeding Me like that :-) …and Leper Messiah and Trapped Under Ice 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@inoxqc8434 It's not unrealistic, Metallica played almost every song 20-30bpm faster in late 86-89. Listen to the Toronto november 86 live for example, they played a 2 hour set in 1,5 hours...
Damn this is good! The AI rabbit hole! How long before Metallica put out an AI remake album with all newer songs in classic voices? That could be fun Nice work!
I honestly hope they dont, i like their current style and i hope they keep doing whatever they do best these days and let the AI stuff to the community
I’m not usually big on AI re-recorded shit…but this is really good. And definitely an irony about an AI recording of a song that is about man becoming dominated by machine/computers
Seeing some comments about the tempo being to high on this. Have you all actually watched the whole Seattle '89 show? They killed it that night, but the whole damn set was played faster than album speed. Its probably got the fastest version of Bell Tolls ever, and by the time they got to Whiplash and Battery, the speed was off the charts. This sounds exactly the way it would have sounded, had they played it that night.
That is even way too fast for the Justice album it sounds great that would be way too fast even in concert and Jason singing that background vocal sounds out of this world
The fact that You have AI Metallica singing about Machines taking over is scary great job tho

I was there that night. We went crazy hearing this live for first time in 89. They didn't release the actual song for many years on hardwired lol 😅
suchh a good night lad
This is one of the best things ever created!! 🤘🤘 The “Jason” vocals make it even better.
Appreciate it!

Thank you!

This song is why I'm disappointed with 72 Seasons.
I wasn't expecting the chills I got with the part with Jason's voice.

Also, Metallica something else, alcohol. Unfortunately, drunk Metallica trumps sober Metallica. Sad it has to be that way though...
That's insane I love it ! Just wish there was Jason screaming some "Hey ! Hey !" stuff at 4:30
The fact that this is like a minute (+-) shorter than the original just shows how fast tallica was
Fucking Fantastic! My only complaint is the crowd noise is a little too high. Made it hard to hear the music cleary
That's how a love concert sounds like bro
for me its perfect
correction: That's how a live concert sounded like before everyone brought their fucking phones to the show.
ironically this is my only problem with seattle 89 as a concert-DVD. The Crows noises are SO loud, you cannot hear some of their riffs. :D

when jason says spit out the bone, goosbumpssssssssssssssssssssssssss
even tho i find his backvocal as a little bit overrated, still i realized how great he was :(
the balance between swidish death metal dark voice and thrash metal voice is so tasty on him :)
its a little to fast sounds like old sepultura live, they cant keep up. a bit slower and this is a masterpiece
Jason doing his death metal vocals for the back ups haha I loved that shit
Godamn this is was pretty freaking rad… you did a GREAT job with Jason’s vocals!!

Its pretty uncanny how the demeanour, vocals. backing vocals & attitude match with 80's Metallica. I'm literally flipping out!!
This is honestly f-ing great.

Can you lower the sound of the crowd and the drums? With the guitars with more volume this would have been a 10/10...although this is very good
Just wow!❤
You have any clue how awesome the breakdown from am i savage would be in this format
Happy to seen live premiere in London🤘
Hell yeah! Now make an AI remastered St. Anger.

Awesome except the fact that I expected some more Jason backing vocals. Keep 'em comimg, bro!

Judas Kiss would be amazing for this
Try "Ride The Lightning" with some of the concerts from the early 1990s (Day on the green, moscow, Washington, Toronto) black album tour
This was the song played after Breadfan that night
Jason could never play this fast... Even with his little pic lol
