Awesome!!! I almost always cover my rental counters and I'm about to cover the new place' counters as well with this same pattern but it's matte. Got it from target! Used it before and it held up for 2.5 years and I'm sure it could have gone 5+ without needing to be redone. The stick is great and came off well with a bit of heat from blow dryer 😊
looks great !! just wondering about heated sources, since it’s a kitchen will you use a separate space for heated items (toaster, hot plates/pots) or simply use trivot mats … or is the paper you used, high-heat grade???
Nice job! If you ever need some premium interior wrapping vinyls let us know. We sell over 200 styles of thick architectural self adhesive vinyl in any length.
Wow really nice what’s so strange I just bought a roll of wallpaper for my countertops and you popped up. Not strange really but so helpful! I would have painted the countertops 1st so you didn’t have to do 2 coats of paper. Nice job though.
I wanted a paint-free option- and I don’t like the look of painted tile. I was going for a smooth surface, and with painting you’d still see the grout lines.
it came out great but why didn't you just paint the counter with a primer so it would block all the color? that would've saved some money on peel & stick. Either way great job
This looks great. Just found you and subscribed. Edit: I just finished watching and came back to ask if you could do a video showing us how to lay the peel and stick? I'm about to do this in a (kitchen) only used by guests, but I dont know how to do corners..and I'm so scared.
I know for a fact those weren’t expensive tiles 😂 but I’d recommend getting less emotionally invested in what others do with their own homes and instead focus that energy on yourself and your own home 💕
@@MaggieMcGaugh I actually agree with the comment on loving the green better than this ugly cr@p, but your response was perfect. I think I'm going to invest my emotions on my own house now too! Lol 😂
Just a suggestion if you get tired of the wallpaper on the counter. Paint the tiles 😊 they make a paint specifically for tile. Just a thought.
Its not hideous, i lovw the character. I hope its preserved
Thinking the same! I love that original tile!!!

the green tile was absolutely beautiful
In the 1960's. Lol
the plastic foil on top is such a bad idea 😂
Thank for doing this so I know that it’s a bad idea. I don’t see how this can last a year in my home.
When running the blade over the cross grout lines, run the edge of the blade diagonal. This will keep it from dipping into the groove.
The tile paint looks good on tiles or regular counters. Makes it look like stone too!

I love that green countertop though.

After so many struggle, you did it, amazing work, look's adorable. ❤️

Looks good, but why not paint it with one of those kits?

Thank you for showing the truth, so we can learn.
I hope you post everything on youtube because I hate Instagram. Lol❤
I think the high quality contact paper could possibly avoid having to caulk the countertop prior.
I’m going to try it but in a darker color, wish me luck 🍀 😊
dont hate me but i loved the b4 and the after 😊
I am in the same boat as you I hate my tile and am gonna try doing the same thing thank you

You should've primed the surface before applying so it won't be see through
The video would be much better and helpful if you showed the entire procedure step by step
The green is absolutely beautiful and those are very expensive tiles. Why would you want to ruin them with ugly crap?????

They looked really dated and old. Only some people would like them.
I like the new way.

Why did you do that ??? You mess up the beautiful natural tile work to a plastic stick paper .. are you ok ✅? 😊it’s a shame
