Do you have a tutorial on how to paint bathroom tile floors ? ... I would love to see this . I feel like you make everything So easy . Love all your videos .
Idk that she does, but I did my tile bathroom floors about two months ago- primed, two or three coats of behr kitchen and bath paint (the bathroom I did this in is pretty small, I used the small can), then did two coats of polycrylic over the top. They were a seriously tragic shade of poo brown before, and are now a 'silver sand' (that's what the paint can says! think warm light grey) that makes the whole room so much lighter. It's held up well so far. That said, I'm renting and don't plan to be here forever- if I did I'd have just redone the floors. Use a small paint roller (they're $1 at Walmart) and then a brush around the finer areas (along the edges, around and behind the toilet, etc). Imo this worked the best. And, like with anything else, tape first. And do NOT let anyone walk on your floor (EVEN IF IT IS DRY!) from the time that kilz coat goes down until that polycrylic is on top. It's gonna leave marks.
Oh my gosh! I was so happy to come across this video. I moved into a new house that has white cabinets and a travertine backsplash. I never dreamed I could paint the tile. I wanted to paint the cabinets and the walls but this opens up my options!

Turned out very fresh & pretty looking. 👍✨ Tip ~ De-grease the tile before sanding it - otherwise you're just driving the grease & dirt deeper into the tile surface. Causing your primer to not adhere very well & possibly bubble & peel later.

Excellent video! I did not know that tile can be painted! I have a bathroom reno about to start and this just gave me so many ideas because it has so much tile in it! Thank you! The kitchen is beautiful.
Very, very pretty outcome!! I have porcelain tiles that were 90's style in my house, so I can't paint them. Bummer! I keep waiting for the style of my kitchen to come back in style. Lol!! After we pay off our new screened deck and new to us car (minivan bit the dust after 10 faithful years...lol), the kitchen is at the top of my list. Owen was so sweet with the doggie!!! Loved it!
Oh! My! Goodness!!! I never knew you could do this! If you could see my 1980's tiled kitchen that also has tiled countertops, this would be perfect for your latest diy!!! We just moved into this house (built in 1984) and the cabinets are beautiful but all these gold, brown and rust colored tile blends in too much and is very outdated. Even the tile flooring throughout this house blends in and makes this house too dark. There's no contrast. The walls are a yellow/gold color, too! We were wanting to get rid of all this dark tiled countertops and backsplash for granite but OMG!! Expensive for this huge kitchen so this is such a great alternative!!! I'll have to start another Pinterest board for this now!!! Lol! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this awesome idea! I love the outcome!
Nice job! Wow; and if u will get tired of brown cabinets, I think light blue-grayish color would be cool too; but it’s already looking good, much brighter 😀
I had no idea tile could be painted! Our kitchen is old and dark and is in serious need of a resurrection... ahem renovation. We just bought it though so this is a great idea to keep cost down. 🥰

My husband painted our bathroom tile at our old house and it turned out great.
What a difference!! Love it!
Ok I'm gonna do this in my bathroom. worst case it flakes, cheeps or peels but anything would be better than what I have now !! I can with out the lavender tiles! thank you love your channel and GOD BLESS YOU !!!
Beautiful!! We just moved into our new home on Friday and I’ve been looking up this very thing on Pinterest! Would this work in the shower or would we need something stronger?🤔
You can buy actual tile paint. People have used it in their showers.
@@ellyc87 which is?
@@freeangie11 Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile is one of them.
There are tutorials on youtube to show you how to paint your shower.
I didn't know I could paint tile so easily. Thanks for the video. Island looks great too! I really like it! It was pretty to begin with, but what a nice bright change!
When life gives you lemons...grab your sunglasses! 😂 Then remember to quit filming and grab a brush! 😂 Great job, ladies! 👍🏻 Come do my kitchen next, ok? 😉 God bless you! 🤗 💕 🥰
Excellent video! I did not know that tile can be painted! I have a bathroom reno about to start and this just gave me so many ideas because it has so much tile in it! Thank you! The kitchen is beautiful.
Brown and white? i think it's not a good idea but what about changing the brown color to be black? yes imagine i think it will be awesome 🤘🏻
Loved it!
Can you chalk paint cabinets? I'd like to see a cabinet reno
Oh! My!
"Squillions" made me chuckle!
Holy smokes! I feel like painting our tiles now! This small changes really made the whole kitchen soo much brighter!
By the way why couldn’t we have been friends that live near each other. My house could be your next years worth of content lol
Nice job! Wow; and if u will get tired of brown cabinets, I think light blue-grayish color would be cool too; but it’s already looking good, much brighter 😀
Great job. Love your detail in explaining what and why products work.
I had no idea you could paint tile, well with any real staying or lasting. Her kitchen looks amazing! Thank you for the tips! ❤️💜💚
Wow!!! That’s amazing! I genuinely did not like the before and couldn’t see your vision 😂 but W O W!!! Well done!!! I’m feeling inspired!
I had no idea tile could be painted! Our kitchen is old and dark and is in serious need of a resurrection... ahem renovation. We just bought it though so this is a great idea to keep cost down. 🥰
I love watching your videos! I have an older model home with great bones but can’t afford the expensive upgrades so I get so much inspiration from your videos!
I first thought the tiles would look "home done"....know what I mean? But you guys did a great job! Kudos to all of you!
I make my own chalk paint with plaster of paris, latex paint andcold water. I've used it on so many furniture pieces and it's worked great!
Another great video! Kitchen looks so much better.
