When I emigrated into America, I had lots of paperwork to show and had to promise not to use government assistance for a few years. Years later, I paid over $1,000 to become an American citizen. It burns my britches that illegal aliens are given free rides to invade.

Honestly, if I lived in a huge mansion with 1,000 empty rooms, I would NOT allow them to live with me. They are illegal - read that as criminal. Who should house them? Their own country of origin should. Who should pay? Their own country of origin should. And taxpayer money should absolutely NOT be used to pay for them to live for free in a country where their mere presence is an illegal act. If they want to live in a country other than the country of their origin, they should do it legally!!

Absolutely. People seem to forget that America didnt just appear out of thin air. America exists because people got tired of their current government, so they left. Then when that government wouldnt let them go, they FOUGHT. We have so many people complaining that their country is horrible and they want to come to America, but then they show up illegally and act like criminals. Go back to your country and fight to make it better perhaps? Do people die to make their country better? Yes, Welcome to the concept that freedom isnt free. We learned that a long time ago, we just seem to be forgetting it.

He is pushing this political agenda, one of their slogans translates to 1 bullet 1 invader as he views only his culture as the rightful rulers of the country. If this party came in to power many people will have to leave, even those whose family was here for thousands of years before his. We would all become Immigrants, legal or otherwise.

The problem with most college students is that they are emotionally based ideologues. They dream of a Utopia that doesn’t and will never exist, and they don’t understand why it doesn’t. It’s not until they get into the real world, we’re they’re taxed, struggle to pay bills, and worry about the health and wellbeing of their families that reality sets in. Always remember the quote by Winston Churchill, “If you’re not a liberal in your 20s, you have no heart. If, you’re not a conservative in your 40s, you have no brain.”

It’s handled thru part of our contract with insurance companies. For example if someone needs temporary housing during a disaster. If we needed to navigate it on our own I’d be worried about being taken advantage of. Many of the families we’ve worked with would never have reached out on their own. Had they, we would. I am a 77 year old widow. My birth mother got pregnant with me when her husband was overseas. I was given up for adoption at birth. My adoptive father was great. My adoptive mother was an alcoholic. The thing that saved me was an older child taught me to read the summer I was 5. Books gave me an escape. The summer I was 10 years old I picked strawberries for spending money. The next summer I picked strawberries and beans for spending money. When I was 12 years old I started babysitting all year after school and on weekends plus picking strawberries and beans during the summer. After I graduated from high school, I went to college. I joined the Army to pay for College. I worked as a RN for over 50 years. I am now retired. I don’t think that I was ever as gullible as the young people you interviewed. From a young age I knew that I would need to support myself after High School. My parents bought me the basics. If I wanted more, I paid for it myself. I bought my record player when I was 12 years old and also bought the records. My Mother got me a library card when I was six years old and I got my books from the City Library. My Father read the newspaper every day. My Mother wasn’t much of a reader but she took me to the library at least twice a week to get books. I was reading “Nancy Drew” Books when I was 6 years old. I am still a voracious reader.
Children today are raised in a bubble. Everything is on the Internet. Newspapers kept me up to date on what was going on in my town, state, and world. Now you only know what you choose to see. How many children cannot read at grade level? How many children cannot do math at grade level? How many parents know if their children can read?
These college students don’t understand that money from their government that is given to Refugees came from taxes paid by their parents and that means less money to give to homeless citizens. Who do you take care of first? Your own Citizens or Asylum seekers? What about the Asylum seekers who lied and are really criminals or terrorists? Also, none of this happened in American when a vast majority of people immigrated here in the early 1900's. You had to have a sponsor (not the Government) and a job lined up before you could come here. Once you got here it was YOUR responsibility to pay for everything. There was no "free" housing, food, or pre-pay credit cards. My great grand father lived in a flop house in Philadelphia and worked 16 hours a day as a leather tanner until he saved enough money to bring my great grand mother over from Hungary.

Homelessness is an issue, housing is in dire shortage. The government are blowing through and wasting tax money on corruption and lining theirs and their doners/friends pockets.

Their first problem is they assume anyone coming to the country illegally is doing it because they are needing 'asylum' and I don't think they understand what that means. "Asylum" means that their government is after them for political reasons, ie they attended a protest and everyone who did is now being locked up by their government. That is NOT the case with these people, they are looking for financial freedom not ACTUAL freedom.
The "Would you house an immigrant" question is a little crazy to me. But I am older, and I'm old enough to remember when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana and a lot of people opened their homes to those 'refugees' who had lost their homes. A lot of those people learned not to be so generous. You let them in, you pay for all their utilities and housing and ... they destroy your guest house or spare room or whatever, your 'facilities', because they don't care its not their home or their electricity or their appliances or cable tv or any of that, so they don't care that someone else's property is destroyed/ruined. Worse, how long do you keep them for? What if they decide they don't want to leave? You can't then force them out, you let them in and they now live there until you EVICT them or they decide to go. Then you are the one labeled a bad horrible person because you want these people out of your life and off your property. It would be the exact same situation.

We have people coming into the UK on a daily basis. These people are put up in hotels - last figure I saw was something like 7 million pounds a day to accommodate and feed people. There is also costs for healthcare to consider such as hospital check ups and dental checks. These people are also given some money each week by the govt as another form of support. Considering the bigger picture in that the UK has a homeless crisis, a shortage of housing, schools, doctors and hospitals one has to question the viability of continuing with such a policy. All politics aside its just not economically sustainable and having a shortage of adequate infrastructure in place to keep on accepting high numbers of people into the UK. Govt at some point will begin to run out of money and then people will begin to moan when their tax burden increases to cover the additional cost.

You can't appreciate the value of money, time, physical labor, or the worth of material items that you purchased with the earnings that you put so much of yourself into.. nor can they comprehend the value of tax money or how the budget YOUR tax money.. You worked hard for it, you have to make personal compromises and choose conveniences to go without, only because you are forced to pay into tax, you don't decide where it's being allocated, and if you don't get to approve or decline, what they decide to do with it.. it's beyond frustrating, but you learn the value of work, money, and decision making very, very quickly!

This why we're in trouble. The people you're interviewing have no idea what they're talking about. As for the statement the Government should pay! Where do they think the Government gets the money from?

Great video, and you hit the nail on the. The problem with theses students saying that the government should pay for theses illegals are typically not working and paying taxes.. I work hard for my money and the government taxes me big time so I don’t want my hard earned money going towards housing theses illegals. Especially when we have 13,955 homeless of which 2,110 are veterans.

    C: Yes
I: And if you had 2 boats and I needed 1....
C:Yes I would give you one.
I: So if you had 2 chickens and I had none you would give one to me?
    C: No.... I have 2 chickens...

What? Yes we do. It is a defined word, anyone can look it up.
SHE may not know the definition, but that doesn’t change anything for the rest of us.

In 1980 at 16 years old myself and 3 friends made the attempt to escape the Communists of Czechoslovakia.
In the depth of winter two were shot and killed in the barbed wire at the border of Austria and one more caught and placed in prison until 1990.
Alone I escaped, Walked 3 days to north of Vienna where I climbed into an open wire freight car to Munich.
Was granted political asylum in then West Germany. lived 2 years working in Germany. One of the police officers who found me allowed me to stay in his home with his family.
He was a WWII combat veteran. He told me about the French Foreign Legion. When i turned 18 I took a train to Aubagne France and served 1982 to 1997.
After ai escaped I never saw my parents or brother again. I don’t know what happened to them. I understand wanting a better life.
But today many migrants are not escaping anything. They just want a better life economically.

In the UK it takes years of being on a waiting list to receive social housing.. .. and that is if you fill all the specific boxes, and others do not jump in front because they have 1 more ticked box than you. There has been a major housing shortage for years, and hundreds of thousands of illegals yearly are expected to be housed magically, all while there is a massive cost of living crisis.

These people haven't lived. Ask in another 5 years if they would live with ANY of their friends, then follow up with, would you house an illegal immigrant, and lets laugh at the u-turns they make.
I, like most, wouldn't even live with some friends for various reasons. Let em crash a while during hard times, sure - if the meet my personal conditions (clean, doesn't waste money, respects boundaries etc), but no way am I going to let a complete stranger stay. I don't even like contractors coming into my property to do work that I can't do my self (eg gas checks).
An this is coming from someone that does rent out the spare room.

I have always been very much for immigration, but the problem has always been language and culture education, homes and jobs. Without all of those things it will just fail horribly. The problem is that most countries are not prepared for a sudden influx of immigrants. It simply doesn't work. For that reason, illegal immigrants are no good.

What happens when the government says you have a extra bedroom in your home and we're sending you a migrant family to put in that room. We've run out of room and you have no choice, either take them or we take your home. Keep this in mind, anything you pay taxes on, you don't really own. You can argue that fact all you want, but don't pay the taxes and you'll find out who really owns it.

What is a German SS officer if they arrived in the early 1940's? Is he a refugee or an invader?

  • @Sin_Addict
    @Sin_Addict Місяць тому +4

This will come across in several “vibes”, but the intent is as clear as the words I type. Who should pay? The individual. Strip away the feelings, the group identity, the politics, and anything else. Who should pay for a college student’s education? The student. Who should pay for the business’ expenses and short comings? The business. Who should pay for the refugee’s? the refugees. If you leave everything you have or had and take yourself and your family somewhere where you have nothing, then the responsibility of your own wellbeing is your responsibility. Relying on others is a kind and wonderful thing, but you are owed nothing. A nihilistic ideology but a realistic one is that: I support refugees entering into the country I reside, but the ones who should house, clothes, support, and care for them are themselves. Is it a cruel expectation to tell someone with nothing, that you will give them nothing? Yes. Is it also not cruel to tell someone that regardless of their stance on a subject that they will support something regardless? If you support the idea of refugees, then the responsibility of supporting them becomes your responsibility to support them. It is altruistic to believe in supporting something when you don’t have to bear the responsibility of that belief. The bliss of ignorance is only blissful for the ignorant. When one’s ignorance puts the responsibility onto others it becomes selfish, inconsiderate, and cruel. It is easy to be self-sacrificing when you don’t have to sacrifice anything yourself. A student says “I support them” then give your financial aid, scholarships, grants, etc. to a refugee. A politician says “I support them” then a politician will give a reasonable part of their political income to a refugee. A business says “I support them” then a business will give a reasonable part of their business income to a refugee. Don’t donate to an “organization”, but rather support them by giving what you do have: time. Find a refugee and sponsor them. Don’t pick and choose. Travel to where a refugee is and sponsor to be their supporter. Bring them to the country, if their hardships are too much to bear witness, then alleviate their hardship. If they have no where to go, then find them somewhere to go. If you “support them” then that means you will “support” them. Otherwise, you don’t support them, you rather “I wish them the best, but I’m not doing anything about it.”
