I think it’s time we move to a society where a man is judged on the content of his character and not the color of his skin
What’s sad is we were sooooooooo much closer in the 90’s. Everyone agreed on MLK’s message. And MLK was a Christian - so that is not the message being sent today.
The message before was clearly to become a “color blind” society. There were clothing brands like Cross Colours and it was a message based in love.
Something happened after 9/11 to the people here. It’s like everyone was traumatized and now all there is in the world is a constant message or fear and death. When you kick God out of society within 2 generations a new lower-g god replaces Him. And that leads to open pagan idol worship and all that comes with that in the dark.
That will NEVER EVER happen with democrats in control , pushing the racism lie is what they live for.

Their answer to racism in the past is racism in the present. The answer to racism in the present is racism in the future. It is literally calling for an apartheid state where everyone that isn't black is a 2nd class citizen.
We cannot move to that sort of color blind society because the race hustlers will never allow it.
When he said Asian moms do not put up with their children committing crimes. It used to be the same with Black Americans. I remember back in the 1960s and early 1970s that if a black kid did something wrong, the police did not arrest them, they took them home. Why? Because the police knew that their parents would punish them much harder than the courts would ever do. Back then, if anyone did something wrong, let alone a black kid, it disgraced the entire family. Black American families would NOT allow their children to disgrace the family or the family name. God forbid that a grandparent lived in the home or nearby. If so, the poor black kid would not be able to sit for a good week. Now days, it seems that black families embrace bad behavior in their children.
You're implying that black kids have "families". The real correlation is with fatherlessness and crime. In other demographics as well. Just turns out that black culture has a much higher percentage of fatherlessness. It's a culture problem, not a skin-color problem.

A teacher in Ontario Canada just leaked part of the new k to 6 "race matters" curriculum." Part of the cource is the concept of "Black Joy" . A feeling of pride joy and elation black people feel when standing up to authority and oppression . This may include crime. If white teachers are uncomfortable teaching this and other so called " facts" they must examine thier reasons for hidden bias and racism. In other words it's racist to expect black people to respect law and order. If it's here it's in the states too. Home school or a carefully chosen private school is getting to be the only way to get your kid to adulthood unindoctrinated by this ridiculous, devisive, race and identity ideology that ignores merit and glorifies victimhood. .

I'm 40+ years old and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to hear and see a young black man like yourself speaking the honest truth. I can't even express how heartbreaking it is to watch the decimation of the black community with this oppression ideology. The fact that we (blacks) are okay with tests being dumbed down for our children and them graduating from high school with a 4th grade reading level is absolutely appalling. Not even mentioning the inability to do BASIC math. This is essentially creating a race of dependence - and once you become dependent on someone else for your most basic needs in life you've delivered yourself back into a form of slavery.
If you do enough research you’ll find out that we were programmed this way through schools, TV Programs, music labels that hand pick specific artists, social media and every outlet where a corporation snuck poison into our food and we didn’t realize it was there. We have to undo it but only by looking at the real causes to the effects. Trust me the psychological research that the NSA , CIA, military and other intelligence agencies conduct has been misused over our community. We weren’t like this 60 years ago. If you're asking my point of view on the situation, it's quite easy : I don't really have one. I'm french, we do have a few quotas here, but not as many as in the US. And i do actively fight against those here.
Since I do not live in the US, and the point of view I have of the country is very biased by my recommendations on social media and by the people around me, I prefer not to base any judgment on it.
I see the US as a mess of political agendas and opportunists making coin on top of the true intentions of it's people....

Thomas Sowell commented that back before affirmative action when someone saw a black man in a high position people assumed he was one of the smartest men in the room to achieve his position.
After affirmative action everyone assumes that any black man in a high position is just an affirmative action hire who isn't really qualified.

I grew up in the so called 'colour-blind' decades, in that it was about equality & behaviour. I never used the N word, I don't think like that - Now, since 2020, it seemed over-night people viewed me as a White Supremacist' or Racist & this can be thrown at you if you like Black Music, Pull someone up about their behaviour or even just quickly fill up a water bottle. Thanks to a Middle-Eastern 'Gentleman' on the bus whose behaviour I was complaining about, with his following accusation of racism, I literally said 'I do not give a F**k about the amount of melanin in your skin, this is about manners!' That is absolutely true! - I care if you're being an idiot to me or not. @@GhostSal There is a case for being caught in the trap of their own society being harder to move away from than other societies although there is plenty of opportunity to do so, what is more worrying is the lack of willingness to put the effort in to get out of a hole not bothering with school and engaging in petty crime at a young age is a bad choice but still is a choice. I have made some bad choices in life and I blame myself for them because I made them, the biggest challenge for them is that they will be offered bad choices more often so they have try that bit harder.
There are 2 million African American millionaires in the US most of which were impoverished or parents were impoverished but made it out of the ghetto and will never go back, these are the people young black Americans should be looking up to and want to replicate instead of the murdering rappers and gang members they respect so much.
There has been so much finance and help injected into these communities over the years with little to no effect, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.
@@GhostSalI find 1 out of 3 to be wrong since none of the Black Americans I associate with have been incarcerated for anything. Oh as a US Marine I work with all races. Even put my career on the line for a very important member of my unit since I am the godfather of his child. Race only matters in the civilian world. In the military it is few and far between racial incidents. Maybe one day civilians will understand this is a way to divide us and make it harder to have a more proper government that is governed by the people for the people rather than by some people for the rich.

Or how about retention I spend decades in a career just to be told it is a dead end? why would I bother doing more than the minimum to keep the position? why would I bother showing the new guy anything? he makes the same as me he can figure it out.

The real problem is that influential people are creating division either due to ignorance of reality or deliberate deception because it gives them more control/power over those who believe the lie. there is no legal solution you cant legislate morality if you want society to exist. the best you can do is have a way to remove an immoral person from the role even then there is no guarantee since that process can be filled by others with equally questionable morals. we are seeing this play out in U.S. government today. We shall see if it can be corrected after being allowed to deteriorate to this level or if morality has been lost for too long.

My husband worked for the city fixing signs, painting lines in the road and many other things required to maintain a city. A black guy he worked with would literally sit with his feet up on his desk doing nothing. Not until he decided to build a house in which he’d lunch in at work then go home and work on his house. He asked my husband, what did you do today. My husband said he worked his ass off. The guy said “yeah, I didn’t do a damn thing g and we both got paid the same”. They couldn’t fire him. Not even when he was caught building his house on the tax payers dime. He knew it. He could do whatever he wanted while everyone else had to do their jobs AND his. What a slap in the face. And there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Yup. I took a supervisory position at work recently. My trainer drummed into my head that one of the most important parts of my job was to prevent people from sneaking in and signing out early. Until the day I called the black guy out. The trainer freaked out on me and me "oh HE is allowed to sign it early." When I asked why she could not or would not answer me. Just repeated over and over that HE is allowed.

I had a friend who’s dad worked at GM as a manager. His dad said the same. Black union workers couldn’t get fired no matter what they did. His dad gave examples of things, I was shocked. They’d just laugh and say they be back tomorrow.

I appreciate you bringing up what many may not realise, will not speak of if they do.
In 1990s the school I attended had 4 scholarships 2 for black cultures and 2 open school in athletics.
Coach pulled me aside and said he was putting my name in for one of the scholarships. Following week he pulled me aside to say not to cry but that the school had said I would have to ask my parents to pay $2500 for training cause of being white and they wanted the scholarships to go to black kids.
He said you and I know it’s wrong but he couldn’t convince them to change their minds and his hands were tied. All 4 of the scholarships went to only the black students.
All I could say was sorry coach, I can’t ask my parents for money we haven’t got. It’s a shame as I stopped running that day and those in athletics know when I say there’s a feeling of flying like a bird, feeling free that I have never been able to get since that day.
It didn’t matter who ran faster, who turned up for every chance at training sessions. I was so dedicated I had attended every training- before school, recess, lunch, after school etc I even had trained at home with ropes tied around my waist until I was running with four old car tires bouncing along behind me.
I had gotten to the point I barely would’ve needed to reach arm in a bent position to touch the shoulder of another student who had 2 years professional training.
I was never bitter at the other students training or scholarships, most were friends, I still get that crushed feeling at the memory of losing an opportunity because the school couldn’t see past me being white though after all these years.
That is so unfair. I'm sorry you lost out.

I think affirmative action was meant with good intentions at first. Diversity, equity, and inclusion is Marxism.
Those terms are phonetically different but are synonymous in the end. They just choose(and often redefine) words that sound the best to the shallow minded.
Affirmative action gave advantages to minorities, but DIE actively tries to suppress white people. These people literally believe it ok to be racist against white people and promote bigotry because of white guilt psychos. Some of these white liberals call themselves colonizers and literally kiss the feet of minorities in protests in some sort of machoistic fetish.
Marxism is better at branding, just look at the name Black Lives Matter. The founders are admitted Marxists and they chose a name that if you disagree with their agenda they can easily call you a racist. That's why I say yes black lives do matter but the organization itself is garbage.

I don't want to have to cross a bridge built by affirmative action, or fly into or out of an airport where air traffic control is anything but the best and most qualified based on tests and performance rather than any other social criteria.

I'm white and because we were poor I couldn't afford to go to a college, certainly not live in a dorm! That was the height of 'rich living' in my view. I took out loans, worked through school which was in my hometown so I could live at home. I eventually earned my MBA and now earn 165k because I worked my ass off and feel intelligent, confident and worthy. I really worry that these handouts to Blacks are subconsciously making them feel less worthy and smart. They are just as capable of working as hard as anyone else to get where they want.

I grew up poor too, and went to college under a grant. There was a part of the school (think a square atrium), that is 3 stories tall. In the first week, walking through there, you could see people getting pelted by things; food, pencils, water etc. The people doing it were a bunch of black kids, trying to see if they could nail people from the top floor. And I live in a largely Hispanic city...

Good job! O wish the thought process was taught to all poor white kids so we realize WE CAN be successful in life. But as a poor white kid with a learning disability that no one ever caught..i was not taught I could be anything. The system just turned against me and made me RESENT school and RESENT the rich. I wish I was brought up with YOUR SCRAPPING TO THE TOP. But another thing that hurts a kid is an absent father or a father who resents the child cuz they don't understand why one child is so smart and another NOT. Just many factors. And broken kids live broken lives and raise more broken kids. Just something to think about. Encourage your kids to embrace YOUR AWESOME MENTALITY!
My dad grew up in poverty and he was the pivotal generation in my family. He worked his ass off to get through school and pay for it himself. His mother never owned a home. They were evicted from many places. His father was a deadbeat. It all starts with someone changing their family dynamics, and it usually begins with a different view of the importance of an education. Education and majoring in something that gives you descent paying employment!

As a "mixed race" white woman and Choctaw Indian, I very much appreciate your intellect and not being afraid to say the truth. Yes atrocities have been done in the past especially to my people who were pushed off the land and forced onto reservations. There is not a person alive who has not been oppressed in some way at some time, especially women when black men could own property before women. But using what occurred in the past to stamp your foot and demand that everyone else coddle you and fix your problems, pull the race card and blame others for problems you could fix, is wrong regardless of what race you are. YOU have the power to fix or improve your life, whatever your circumstances. The problem is too many people have a sense of entitlement and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter, because it is easier to complain and blame other groups of people for the fact that they are where they are, than to put forth any effort to get into a better situation. That is the basis for the old saying of "Beggars can't be Choosers". If you expect anything and everything to be given to you, then don't complain about the crumbs you get. Get out there and make an effort and make a better life for yourself. That is exactly what I had to do working jobs and putting myself through school. Neither me nor any of my white friends had any "white privilege" at all while two of our wonderful black friends got full scholarships. I am happy for them, but don't you dare throw in my face that my success is white privledge. That is why I don't even list my Indian heritage or white heritage on any documents because it should not even be a factor. My merit is the only thing that should count.

You say you see black people and assume most black people are doing the right thing but only 20-25% of black children live in a home with a mother and father. This is a huge contributing factor for crime and it is not just effecting black people.
From what I've been told it's one of the biggest contributing factors. I've never actually seen any stats back that up though.
Not having the biological father in the home also correlates with poor academic success. Fathers also help kids move out into the society providing connections for jobs and make demands on the kid to perform well so as not to embarrass him. I overheard a black mother on the phone saying her teenage son had called his grandma a bi*ch so she “throwed him against the wall.” Then she called his *%*#@& daddy who came over apparently to throw him against the wall too. Somehow I don’t think this is a very effective child rearing strategy, but maybe better than nothing.
I can’t believe that we are at a point in our society where women and men think that having children outside of marriage is OK. It’s accepted now. They don’t know the concept of forming a marriage first and making a family.

People forget that colleges are a business. They provide a service "education" and produce a product "research and published materials". They operate solely on making a profit in these things. Professors are paid worse and pressed to publish lower quality faster and fitting an agenda that will sell.
Inner city schools get more money but do worse

LFR, you cannot imagine how right your are. I had to interview five black applicants for an entry electrical engineering position. Two from DeVry and three from ITT. Electrical engineering applicant could not identify an inductor on the circuit schematics. Two could not calculate the total resistance value of two resistors connected in parallel, they could not find common denominator of two fractions. This was not just sad, it was scary. This is because black students are given easy pass on studies, tests, and attitude. They become uncompetitive in the real world even though the higher education schools can brag about how many students of color graduated their institutions. So what???? They just wasted their time and achieved nothing. It's very sad...
Blacks in UK and thick whites who should not be in higher education all study crap now: Sports Science, media studies, it's all useless... Wow how can you study Elec Engineering and not being able to do resistors in parallel? That's like week one in college!

Wow I took electrical courses in 1988. High school Mostly bread boarding and learning about logic circuits. And , NAND and nor gates basic stuff. I haven't done a thing with it but I can still do everything you mentioned. I was a B student at best. That's crazy.
I can tell you I had to teach my daughters math so they could graduate . They started to teach an Asian style left to right style of math. It works much like you do ot in your head however it take 4 times the paper and is slower. There was no continuity from class to class. The upshot was a lot of kids were pushed through barely understanding math. This may account for some of your math deficiencies in applicants but how they got through colledge is beyond me.

So much of our education system is shortchanging the students. The theme of the video he was commenting on was of black privilege. We as a society are shooting ourselves by not promoting people using merit as the determining factor.

I was a high school teacher. One day, I noticed an envelope under a desk and found it belonged to one of the girl students. I know I was stepping outside my rights, but I read the letter. It was from the girl's father who was in jail. I almost cried as I read this man give his daughter wise and caring advice about her typical teenage girl problems. The next day, I handed the letter back to her, but to this day, I wish I had told her I had read the letter and that she had a dad who loved her and wanted her to be successful. I hope when he got out that they had a strong relationship.

The problem with racism *was* that people in charge didn't hire people because they were a crtain race.

If racism is to ever be eliminated, the race of an applicant *cannot matter in any way* ...neither positively, nor negatively. Hiring should only be based on merit and *no other metrics.* Want a better job?
Do the work. Get the education.
And that doesn't mean "get them into the programs"... it means they need to have the effort invested, the priorities nailed down that *earns* that place in the educational program they choose, so that when they graduate they can get the job in the field they desire because they are now *qualified* for it.
No one has ever progressed through a handout.
No one has ever gotten more done by doing half of the work for them.
No one has ever learned more with less focus on grades.
Affirmative action, by definition, is saying that "these races cannot do it on their own. They do not work hard enough, aren't smart enough, and don't deserve the respect of having achieved it without these huge assistance props. They just aren't good enough."
And *that* is bullshit.
Falls under the same kind of backwards thinking that has "strong independent women" wanting a man to pay for everything for them, so they don't have to.
*People only succeed through doing it for themselves.* At anything.

Well the thing is…. When we hire fairly and based on merits, blacks will fall behind and the races will get hired disproportionately. The radical left can’t swallow that because then they would have to give reasons for why that happens other than racism and oppression by white people. There will never be a moment in history when we could openly admit it is the black community itself that fails and sucks and destroys itself. We’ll always have to pretend it’s white’s people fault.

The Asian kids get denied with higher test scores & GPA to meet quotas. Those numbers equate to a higher chance of success and graduating. Instead quotas are met, and those kids drop out with debt at a higher rate.
And the nation is that much poorer because we do not have the best and brightest getting into those critical positions in society.

The bar should never be lowered. I keep seeing news about black students, even very young black students, getting their college degrees very early on and finishing high school with insane GPA. I repeat, the bar does not need to be lowered because that implies we can't do it. When I was in university I did very well, and the only time I had any trouble was when covid first hit. Yeah, there were stressful times, but I got through it, and I started and ended my time in university on a very high note.

My university had special hours for black students to come to the library and 'tutors' would do their homework for them and they were free to plagiarize any writing assignment
Blaming others for the problems facing any particular community destroys any hope of a path forward to solving the problems. If it's not your fault that such-n-such, then you have no power to affect the change necessary to overcome that issue. Keeping a community powerless is keeping them dependent on "hero" politicians who promise "help" even if they never deliver it. They don't ever have to deliver, because that community is helpless either way. It's not so much a _culture_ as it is a _mindset_ that needs to be changed.
it's why it's called the crabs in a bucket mentality. When ever one of their community strives forward, those that didn't put effort into themselves will demand from those that did. Its the same with indigenous populations in US, Australia and New Zealand...
Honestly, it's weird, because when people of color did organize and build up communities they were burned down, bombed, and destroyed by non-people of color and the gov't. Making black people as a culture afraid to be great, like being cool for not caring about school. Though this has improved over the years.

You bring up a very good point. The very existence of affirmative action shapes people's perceptions of black students. With DEI quotas it probably does the same thing for other marginalized demographics. People won't look at a black student and be assured that they got there under their own merit, while some and possibly most do there will always be that doubt present. It probably feels bad for the students in question too. I can imagine them wondering 'did I get this spot because I did well, or did I get it because I'm black?'. If affirmative action did not exist, the student could have the certainty that they did well and got their deserved spot and there would be no resentment from others.

I've watched your show for awhile now. I love seeing young people take in new information with an open mind.
The breakdown of the family unit, show by statistics is the largest reason for kids turning up in trouble. That applies to all races of people.
I am a strong opponent of affirmative action. I've seen first hand the harm that it can do.
Back in the 80's, I went to one of the best engineering schools in the country. Also there was a half-black, half-Puerto Rican student that became a friend of mine. He came from the NYC school system, and I later found out he was admitted through an affirmative action program because he checked off two minority demographics.
I knew this student was having problems with calculus because several of my others friends told me they had tried to help him when he was having difficulty, but were unable to do so. I thought that I was decent calculus, so maybe I could describe the subject matter to him in a way he could understand. In very short order, I discovered why every else had failed to help him. The student didn't just have problems understanding calculus, but he also did not understand trigonometry, geometry, or even algebra. He really needed help with grade school math. It turned out his grade school and high school teachers just passed him along the system because they did not want to be seen holding a minority back.
The result of this was the student failed out of college because he was completely incapable of competing with other students at the same level, and he eventually became a professional waiter. After thinking about this for a while, I realized that affirmative action actually harmed two students lives - the student I knew and another student who missed out being admitted to a top college.
I believe in equal opportunity, but I also believe the system we have set up is actually hurting people in the long run more than it is helping them. I have no problem with providing added instruction to people in need of it, but I also believe that people should not be given a position unless they have the abilities to meet the requirements of that position.
