Everything seems so cozy in Japan, and I mean this as a complement .. clean and cozy, .. and luxuriously compact .. having never been there, I visualize my perfect evening stroll down a quiet, tidy, close quarter residential street admiring the neatly parked autos and bikes .. reaching a vending machine for an energy drink to bring home, sauntering back to my place. As a minimalist who loves neatness .. I need to visit Japan.
Hey! You remind me of myself when I take the Mi Goreng style instant noodles and start adding things to it like ham and cheese and all sorts of condiments. My wife flips out when she sees me doing that. She thinks it's disgusting but I'm satisfied with the result... most of the times... These nugs look yum to me... Cheers!
I actually don't like mcdonalds at all but I kinda wanna try making this as well. Maybe some slight changes to the sauce and nuggets/fries bought from the grocery store instead. I also really liked that you served everything on a cute tray like it's an actual meal at a restaurant. lol. If I remember correctly, Soranews has a bunch of weird/simple recipe ideas. I initially rejected katsudon and all versions (pork cutlet, chicken, shrimp etc) because I thought... nooo, not gonna ruin a crust this way and I would’ve lost put on one of my Favourites! So now if I have leftover chicken nuggets or anything really battered- this is what I think of

Rambling ? what rambling ? this is pure kyde and eric content, the essence of the channel. if you read negative comment, keep scrolling, comments are like ass holes, everyone got em...:P my opinion is just as invalid as a negative comment, just be yourselves and let the chips fall where they may..:) the one thing i see youtubers do, is chasse the views, gain subs and lose actual views, more subs doesn't = to more views. it can, but i guarantee that there are at least 1 million people that would love the channel the way it is, and eventually they will find the channel, well hopefully. anyway, just my equally worthless opinion. I personally love these videos, because they are human and simple.
I love Japanese McNuggets, they still use the old school white meat/dark meat combo, unlike the US which has switch to only 100% chicken breast McNuggets.

Nice, for the rice I also do 3 - 4 times washing! Also, if you took 1 cup of rice, use 1 cup of water for heating the rice (it's a rule of rice). Eric's beard is Epic now! ("Eric's Epic", I termed that! :D )
I prefer to put in water enough to cover the rice then space out fingers into a kind of claw and swirl around in the water. This cleans the grains really effectively without too much water used. Just repeat 2-3 times and you'll have lovely separated grains!

And as someone who worked as a bagger (bag lady is a lot more fun) at a grocery store for like three years, I can't stand watching people bag things when they don't know how. Drives me nuts and I always have to rebag it later, so I totally get it xD

Out of trying to make leftover food palatable, I have attempted crazy hacks like this. I discovered a few tricks in my experiments, but nothing like this. If I ever have some leftover nugs I'm gonna try it.
I am surprised that the dish turned out so tasty for you! Lately I've been deep frying in my wok and it has been a game changer for us because the wide bowl eliminates splatter and the residual odor is greatly diminished. Got that tip from Ethan Chlebowski on his eponymous channel.
