Now, I mean this in the nicest possible terms. He is a craftsman, not an artist. Those are very different things, and I believe it's a much more meaningful compliment to call this man an excellent craftsman, whereas calling him an artist feels shallow and out of place. This gentleman doesn't pursue artistic purposes, but rather honed an admirable craftsmanship. It would in fact be demeaning to call it art. Remember that "art" is not a compliment, it is a nature of work, and it is not suited to describe this craft. The absence of music, sound effects and voice over was indeed immensely appreciated.

@@Miswired-2501 It's just that "art" and "artist" is used for anything and everything nowadays. You make something nice = art. It's not what it means. It has become a generic compliment which, because of its misuse, is pretty meaningless.
My late grandfather was the first Egyptian master tailor to have his own atelier in downtown Cairo, after spending years-long apprenticeship under an Italian master tailor. Watching him doing exactly what this gentleman is doing was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed..I wish he lived longer for me to study and acquire his craft, but I invite every gentleman here to strive to own at least one handmade suit to keep this art alive. I love the sounds of him working. Each scissor snip, the sound of the needle breaking through the fabric, the sound the thread makes when it's being pulled through, even the loud noise of the machine from time to time. I could watch these all day.

I have multiple tailored suits and after seeing these videos after my 1st one, I asked my tailor everything about them and the amount of pure custom, handcrafted, immensely precise work that goes into these masterpieces is more than most people can comprehend. I’d say it’s an art form, but I don’t even think that does it justice. My tailor mentioned to me it’s a beautiful mix of math, engineering, style, and surgery all mixed into one craft, unique in itself to anything else on the planet. The only other comparable process is the form of creating custom shoes. Apart from that, there is nothing else in the world that embodies the “piece unique” style for 1 person. These suits are truly incredible and the people who create them are equally, if not more impressive. And if you think the creation of the proportions is crazy, the sewing and stitching is jaw dropping
Watches have similiar formula of working process, i have only few suits but all been made with passion by someone with knowledge, its totally different feeling comparing to suit from normal store. They are real magicians, from nothing they create real masterpiece. Have a good one !
As a woman it's easy enough for me to just sew a dress for myself, for my exact measurements. Watching someone make a men's suit (or men's dress shoes) is so intriguing, it's so incredibly complex and something that takes so long to learn, let alone master. And he looks so immensely proud, yet down-to-earth, of his profession.
After learning how hard this craft is (with some basic sewing of way easier garments and pattern making) these videos are even more impressive. Its crazy how fluid and controlled every step is and with no mistakes, every cut and every marking on the fabric and the paper is just immaculate.
Maybe it's just me, but I think the sound of the scissors cutting the fabric is one of my favorites. There was a lady that lived in my local community who would make dresses out of her house and the sound always reminds me of going to her house with my mother.

My father had to have a suit tailor-made in 1946 because he had lost so much weight at 6'3" that no ready-to-wear suit could be altered enough to fit him properly. He had returned home from the South Pacific after serving in the USAAF over 40 months during WWII. A local tailor made him 2 suits that year, one winter and one summer. My father always spoke kindly of his tailor, and his name stuck with me through the years. About a year ago I began getting my hair cut by a stylist in my neighborhood who works from her home. Her last name is the same name as that of my father's tailor. The name is an unusual one. One day I asked her if she was related to my father's tailor. Turns out he was her husband's grandfather. I enjoyed every minute of this fascinating video.
Greetings to you sir from Guyana 🇬🇾. You're indeed a master tailor. You reminded me of my uncle Moonaf who was an excellent tailor himself almost 57 years ago. He had bought himself in 1974 a Singer 20U sewing machine and created the wonders. He wasn't into suit making but only when specially requested then does it. He has since passed on. You're very precise and meticulous with your craft too. What amazes me is the pedal machine that you're still using even🙏. Keep it up.🙏🇬🇾
Truly an artist. I'm amazed at how he manages to keep track of all the bits and how they get sewn together. I was lost after the first two minutes. Also, drawing on the fabric with the tailor's chalk looks like soo much fun.

At first I thought the use of a foot pump "antique" sewing machine was old-fashioned. But then I realized it provides total, absolute control over the stitching, undoubtedly much better than a modern, hi-tech sewing machine would. Very cool.
Indeed, just like woodworkers like those hand-drills because they can feel every grain in the wood. Machines allow quicker work, but the manual and oldschool items allow for precise control
Absolute perfection! I can’t believe how precise he was or how quietly and calmly he worked. He could teach us all a lesson! Thank you for sharing this video with us ❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastic work!! My mother made my clothes the same way -- taking measurements, making a pattern, basting the pieces together, remeasuring, and then sewing my clothes. She was as fantastic as this tailor is. God bless them both on taking such pride in their work!!
This is ASMR delight from an absolute master of his craft. Tailoring is such an under appreciated, yet incredibly difficult skill. My grandmother was a seamstress that made wedding dresses in a small factory. I was always in awe of her skill and precision crafting dresses from scratch.
Watching this video reminds me, that real handmade work is unfortunately so underrated. This is obviously the short version of a long process of the suit-production. But this gives the very impressive idea of these „little details“ that make such thing complete. And then he makes it look so easy, but be aware, this kind of work requires passion to the most little details, a lot of patience and a high level of concentration. And if you look at this, the price for a suit like this is absolutely reasonable. The best part of this in my opinion is, that the tailor produces something sustainable. Just look how he works with the materials without wasting them and: The owner of this suit will have something for a lifetime. Highest respect for this work. Thank you for sharing this video.
It’s a great privilege to have an unfolded access into the tailoring work of a master tailor. Usually it costs tens of thousands for someone with that level of expertise to fit and make a bespoke suit. The suit feels like it was made in one of the prestigious Savile Row tailor shops for a British gentleman.
Bạn hãy đến Việt Nam đặc biệt là ở Hội An , chỉ cần bạn thích loại vest gì thì thợ may đều có thể may cho bạn . May lấy ngay trong ngày và giá cả chỉ 100-200$.
OMG! How is this even possible? How people sew garments together is something that has baffled me all my life. My late brother was a sketch artist and I remember, even as a young child, watching him work. He would start with a blank piece of paper and start drawing seemingly-random lines that looked like meaningless scribblings to me. Then, at the very end, when he drew the final few lines, the image just ... appeared! It's a face! Or, it's Mickey Mouse! It was all in his head and he just had to put it on paper. This video evokes the same slack-jawed reaction. I will never fathom how someone can know and do this, but I'm very glad they can!
What's amazing about this is that he sewed most of the clothes into a perfect fitted suit by hands. It definitely took years of practice and experience to achieve such precise technique.
Ohne of the best videos on UA-cam, i ever saw. A master of his profession, dressed in finest suit, the scissor from the fifties in excellent quality, the sawing machine from the fifties without electricity AND the excellent camera filming everything in big pictures and perfect quality. The whole video is just great and impressive.
Absolutely beautiful work and so precise! I've never watched a suit being made before, not interested, but this made me want to actually become able to use a sewing machine and make clothes. Just magical to see how you glided through everything!
For some reason that part where the tailor hangs the measuring tape on his neck takes me back to when my grandma did gowns and dresses. Although they're different in some ways, my grandma displayed this same level of accuracy and sternness to their work. It was no wonder we often get scolded when we try to sneak out a pair of scissors she uses for her work given how accurate she has to be with her cuts. 😅
I think everyone living with a tailor, whether it's hobby of professional, know there is one pair of shears under their roof no one is allowed to touch for anything other than fabric.
Great to see a pad stitched floating chest piece with horse hair canvas. Great collar shaping. Excellent inset sleeve head. Wonderful hand stitched buttonholes. Perfect Jet pockets. Classic double breasted jacket with interesting inner closing detail. Such artistry.
The pad stitching was extraordinary! So fast, and by hand. Ready to wear clothing would benefit dearly from even a tenth of the structure a well-made custom garment has.
It is actually the first time I have seen in detail how a suit is made and the techniques that the Master uses to do his magnificent work!! Great dedication and a great pleasure to be able to see it!
I've never thought how suits where made until I saw this video I am very impressed on this man's dedication and hard work he puts in every suit. I truly love to see people do what they are passionate about.
i just love the editing of this video, and the high quality sound. the footsteps, the cutting, measuring, lining, ironing, the fabric, sewing everythings just perfect. fantastic!!!

This takes me back to seeing my grandfather crafting boat covers in his massive garage. Dense and durable material would be used. Very well crafted. A couple years after he stopped making them my father would see them on the road, being used properly of course, even some years later. Sadly he passed in 2013 and that’s when everyone needed a new one as my grandmother kept getting calls asking if he could make them a new cover or reupholster a car seat for them. The man had a great skill and a good heart. I miss him dearly.
Remarkable! It really makes you appreciate the amount of supremely-skilled work that goes into making a tailored suit. My eyes have been opened! Tremendous video. I started the video knowing absolutely nothing about this process and 25 minutes later now have a tremendous appreciation respect for what a master tailor does. Thousands of precise movements. If any one of them is slightly off the final product will suffer. Superb craftsmanship.
One definitely has a lot to learn when it comes to tailoring..the precision and accuracy in measurements, cutting, sewing and checking the fittings is absolutely remarkable! Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge.. great video and the no background music just made it more sensible and watchable. I'm glad to learn a few tips and will implement in my sewing technique.
It's such a true pleasure watching someone with such incredible skill doing his work. It's comparable to listening symphony or watching a movie. A true art form! I'm impressed!

My dad is a tailor too . And i can proudly say he wont be as cool as he in doing his work but his fitting of suits are on levels of heaven. I have wore suits of several thousands but no one comes close to him .
by seeing this video it reminds me that my father is a traditional tailor who has devoted himself for 30 years, which finally in 2014 he has stopped this work due to a stroke he suffered, now he is calm in heaven 🙏, greetings from Indonesia

At first I thought the use of a foot pump "antique" sewing machine was old-fashioned. But then I realized it provides total, absolute control over the stitching, undoubtedly much better than a modern, hi-tech sewing machine would. Very cool.
I'm far from a pro but I have my doubts...my computerized sewing machine + pedal has exquisitely variable speed and precision
Faster and easier is the word for modern machines. But not better
@vladimir4526 how is it not better though?
Com certeza melhor
1:20 Ermenegildo Zegna and Loro Piana 🇮🇹♥️
How much was the price?
It’s a great privilege to have an unfolded access into the tailoring work of a master tailor. Usually it costs tens of thousands for someone with that level of expertise to fit and make a bespoke suit. The suit feels like it was made in one of the prestigious Savile Row tailor shops for a British gentleman.
Bạn hãy đến Việt Nam đặc biệt là ở Hội An , chỉ cần bạn thích loại vest gì thì thợ may đều có thể may cho bạn . May lấy ngay trong ngày và giá cả chỉ 100-200$.
Verdade! Incrível!
Nothing is more satisfying then seeing a master at work
This man is an absolute master of his craft and it was an honor and a pleasure watching you work. Not a single ounce of wasted movement. Amazing.
I'm agree with u 😊
Witnessing an artist at work is an ethereal experience.
Thanks Master for showing your great skills. It's a pure delight to watch such art.
@@bleeb90 , I concur. My mom hides her scissors for only this type of use, and my wife has sternly told me to not touch her scissors.
I cannot even concentrate on a 20-minute video properly, but this man can completely commit himself to his work with such pin-point focus!
You are so gifted. Masterful. What an honor it was to watch you create. Thank you to the videographer for capturing every stich. Simply amazing!
Great to see a pad stitched floating chest piece with horse hair canvas. Great collar shaping. Excellent inset sleeve head. Wonderful hand stitched buttonholes. Perfect Jet pockets. Classic double breasted jacket with interesting inner closing detail. Such artistry.
was the white fabric on the initial collar buckram?
The pad stitching was extraordinary! So fast, and by hand. Ready to wear clothing would benefit dearly from even a tenth of the structure a well-made custom garment has.
It is actually the first time I have seen in detail how a suit is made and the techniques that the Master uses to do his magnificent work!! Great dedication and a great pleasure to be able to see it!
I've never thought how suits where made until I saw this video I am very impressed on this man's dedication and hard work he puts in every suit. I truly love to see people do what they are passionate about.
They're not all made like that. That suit is good for life. That's why you spend top dollar on a suit. A true master.
My dad's a tailor too and when I saw this video I could relate many things when I see my dad work. It's truly an art work.
My dad's a retired tailor and watching this brought back so many memories and reminded me how much skill goes into the creations.
Is amazing he’s good men tailor I like him things good help customer good people work there
My godparents were also tailors. I LOVE seeing this kind of work. It's truly an art.
It’s hypnotizing watching him work. Such craftsmanship and dedication to detail.
i just love the editing of this video, and the high quality sound. the footsteps, the cutting, measuring, lining, ironing, the fabric, sewing everythings just perfect. fantastic!!!
It's wierdly pleasing to watch this man doing his work... elegant and skillful!
Respect for this Master Taylor! Watching him create this beautiful suit was a joy. The culmination of a lifetime of learning the art of perfection.
The skill, craftsmanship, the tools used, everything about this video is incredible
Wow, a true Craftsman. Even his stitching by hand is perfect. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video!

So impressive! A real Master.. I would love a custom tailored suit.
The level of detail and care is well worth the price of these suits. This isnt simply a job its a craft with great passion thats to be admired.
It's such a true pleasure watching someone with such incredible skill doing his work. It's comparable to listening symphony or watching a movie. A true art form! I'm impressed!
It’s a pleasure to watch a man who is a master at his craft.

Excellent craftsmanship! The lining with that fabric is stunning!
This what a UA-cam video should be
No annoying music, no background noise , no commentary
Just the pure sound of the a true craftsmanship, your work sir is a peice of art
My dad is a tailor too . And i can proudly say he wont be as cool as he in doing his work but his fitting of suits are on levels of heaven. I have wore suits of several thousands but no one comes close to him .
Truly astounding work my friend. This was amazing, I've never considered the work or attention to detail this craft ever took. Well, well done!
by seeing this video it reminds me that my father is a traditional tailor who has devoted himself for 30 years, which finally in 2014 he has stopped this work due to a stroke he suffered, now he is calm in heaven 🙏, greetings from Indonesia
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ XDD
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ eso q

Woah! Respect! The whole effort that’s put into one suit and tailored fit at that… also loving the fall of the fabric and how snugly it fits with elegance

Absolutely incredible! What a joy to see a master craftsman at work. Thank you for posting this
Man! I love suits. Taylor made ones are definitely worth it.
You can never tell if a store bought one will fit you perfectly or not.
He makes it look so simple. That’s talent.
I’ve had a suit tailored, but I’ve never seen a tailor make a suit. This was watching a skilled craftsman using a lifetime of experience
