=New win conditions that feel more cool/Promote cool gameplay= Imagine if one of the ways to win was to construct a ring world that has all the different species in the galaxy on it. You win by being caretakers. Xenophilic win. You could be a spiritual empire and win by controlling a 25 size consecrated Gaia world with a citadel of faith on it, then you research project for a long time to use psionics to create from your shroud buddy a literal god in your image. Spiritual Win. Xenophobic win by constructing super wormhole generator, and owning 100% of the planets in a separate dwarf galaxy of about 60% the size, then keeping that entire galaxy pure for a set time. You'll need to research about 8 techs beyond what others have access to, letting you build Matrioshka Brains around 2/4/6 black holes, creating a civilization inside the microchips that will last quadrillions of years after the heat death of the universe. Materialist win. You could Vasselize 80% of the of the available planets in the galaxy, giving you a militarist win. You could create a federation that includes 80% of the of the planets in the galaxy, peaceful win. Hiveminds win if they stretch the hivemind to fill the galaxy, owning 80% of all planets in the galaxy Fanatic purifiers must kill all other sentient life in the game. All of it.
With militarist I would say something more like Destroy all the leviathans (if you have leviathans story pack) and control at least three or four enemy capital planets And authoritarian could be your vassalization win
"We are the Blorg Intergalactic Friendship! We have come to this galaxy to befriend everyone! Those who resist us will bear witness to their stars giving their colonies a big light show! End game crisis? NO! We are your end game buddies! Friendship is non-negotiable!"
Necrons, Reapers. Either work. Machine life, dormant for centuries, desiring to wipe out all organic and synthetic life in the universe. What will really be the defining thing in the end is what their motivation will be. Since the Necrons do it out of pure hatred and resentment for all organic life (They have a tragic yet fantastic history.) and the Reapers do it because they see it as their purpose, to stop any other race from developing to the same level that they did. Thus every 50,000 years or so they show up, wipe out the advanced races and leave the weak, unadvanced races behind to continue the cycle.
When I listen to this you're right. I'm wet as an ocean world lol and as a fellow UK sufferer of this abominable heat wave and cynic at heart I certainly enjoyed your planet descriptions!
Try moving to the south of the united states, then you can complain about the heat. I think our lowest temperature this month was 86 degrees (30 degrees Celsius)
Most of you get air con and that's a standard temp. We're averaging 30 in the South for weeks on end and us pasty Brits aren't used to living in a furnace :D
Oh hey, they're now Yor Collective/Necron/all Planetary Annihilation commanders/CORE/name whatever robotic race that wants to extinguish all biological life. Hurrah for generic villains!
It'll support a mechanist early game, or a xenophilic early game sure. But I feel like too much swing in one direction would severely hamper certain midgames. Xenophiles, going it alone, with no robots for example. Will have to either wait until they get robots, or they will have to wait for genetic modification and such. Given the random nature of the tech tree, it can be incredibly hard to arrive at these techs. For example, in one early game, I passed up robots in favor of destroyers, while playing a materialist empire. At the time, I was in some pretty serious border scuffles and the destroyers would give me an edge over the opposing empire. So I took them thinking it would be ok and robots would show up again soon. The next time Robots showed up, was after I had battleships, advanced railguns and a bunch of other really expensive engineering techs unlocked. Spiritualist empires too, who can't use robots at all.
a few fixs along with what our players love DLC which will 1 add new things and 2 taking things that where already in the game and putting it behind the DLCs :D your welcome
tried to go toe to toe with one of their fleet once with a considerably even power (in the numbers anyway) instantly lost all ships while only destroying their smaller ships, leaving only their battleship (about 61k in power)
For the next lore video, I think it should be either Blorg or Nomads. I want to know more about the Nomads, because I've literally never had them in any game, and the Blorg should go without saying.
Really looking forward to more stellaris lore videos, they're really what I subscribed for- All the weird ISP style random HOI4 videos and the like just arent what I'm looking for- I just dont "get" them.
Not as memey as ISP I'll give you that, but still the sort of messing around in console type videos- nothing wrong with them and sometimes really interesting- but not as sweet as these kinds of videos. Stoked to hear more are coming!
You are so british that my computer was colonized
Lol

Hi, I'm from the future, and I agree with you
Time to start my interspecies sex dungen I MEAN TIME TO START GIVING EVERY RACE CITIZENSHIP I TOTALLY MENT THAT HAHAHAHAHA
With militarist I would say something more like
Destroy all the leviathans (if you have leviathans story pack) and control at least three or four enemy capital planets

Egalitarian: A federation that lasts 100years (maybe more?)
Čapek is pronounced "Tchapek", it's czech and he didn't live "several centuries ago", he coined the term "robot" in the early XX century.
'Robot' is the Czech word for slave.
Dashiell Gillingham fuck off
Red Killjoy NEEEEEEERRRRRD!!!
robot is not czech word for slave (slave is otrok and robot is derived from word robota it is old term for work)
Jestli si Čech tak si jdi koupit slovník spisovné češtiny. And if you are not Czech then where the hell did you learn that robot means slave in czech?
"We are the Blorg Intergalactic Friendship! We have come to this galaxy to befriend everyone! Those who resist us will bear witness to their stars giving their colonies a big light show! End game crisis? NO! We are your end game buddies! Friendship is non-negotiable!"
Oh look, they're adding Necrons.
Rick Sanchez Or any other human destroying group of AI. 40k is awesome but many of its characters and races follow pre-existing tropes.

I think they'll and Necrons in the shape of the Hunters, Rick.
Oh you have no idea
Could you do "The End of the Cycle"? It is something like a 4th End game Crisis activated by the Utopia DLC
Keine Ahnung und so... or the Psionic crisis
"Turn people into hivemind."
Time to Borg.

No, my Private Colony Ships, my Key to Expand like Hell :D
The ancient caretakers looking after ringworlds - forerunner constructs on the halo array!
I love how conservative Spiff's voice is in his earlier videos!
Oh hey, they're now Yor Collective/Necron/all Planetary Annihilation commanders/CORE/name whatever robotic race that wants to extinguish all biological life. Hurrah for generic villains!
Nice Dev Diary overview!

But where's the Blorg?
Haha Capek was a Czech and a badass.
Blorg endgame crisis?
BEFRIEND US ALL, OR WE WILL CONSIDER ALL OF YOU IMPOLITE!
a few fixs along with what our players love DLC which will 1 add new things and 2 taking things that where already in the game and putting it behind the DLCs :D your welcome
can you look at some of the leviathan stories, because I bought that DLC ages ago and have no idea what it has actually added...
Hey, magnificent Brit, are you ever going to play Universe sandbox 2?
tried to go toe to toe with one of their fleet once with a considerably even power (in the numbers anyway)
instantly lost all ships while only destroying their smaller ships, leaving only their battleship (about 61k in power)
ooh sanctuary system will probably integrate
the description says "a big "tanks" to our patreons"
Keadin Mode Im not sure but if you do then I'll make sure to donate!
Another DLC from Paradox?! What a shocker, they never make those!
For the next lore video, I think it should be either Blorg or Nomads. I want to know more about the Nomads, because I've literally never had them in any game, and the Blorg should go without saying.
Love this series, could u try to do the precursor "The Yuht" plz?
Any word on when Capek is coming out?

is it spelled Ca-pek? or Sa-pek? or Ka-pek?
we may never know
Asebele Keto In czech ist Čapek. Is almost the same as tsch in german. I think.. that in english is czapek or tschapek close enough.
Wow, Your Voice is Nice!
IN Brits defense for pronouncing Çápek wrong Brits can't pronounce foreign words
Čapek
Eko02 in my defense Americans can't spell
I’m glad you’ve developed better on your audio editing because you just sound... quiet...
why do I watch these videos they just make me wish I had enough money to buy it :(
"the caretakers" sounds like a pacifist xenophile species
no tea:
ua-cam.com/video/NIQxoVY3SzU/v-deo.html that is what the music sounded like to me
Déjà-vu.
