I revived them and put them in robot bodies and they left to settle a new planet. unfortunately they settled a holy world and got exterminated by the fallen empire nearby a few months later.
If you have a xenophile fallen ascendancy (I think. The ones with that keep zoos of the other species) they may contact you and ask for the data from the In Limbo event, and then resurrect the Awoken on one of their worlds. Giving them the data also gives you a boost in rep to the fallen empire.
I had Synths when I researched it and all I could do was upload them for storage. Once uploaded nothing popped up to resurrect them. Mind you I play a Spiritualist empire but I DO have Synths in my empire who are in servitude.
I started with mechanist perk but I didn't know and didn't yet have Droids technology when I finished the first step. I saved it and a fallen asked for a copy but it has been a while after I got droids and nothing so far happened.
It would be nice to have more things to do with the limbo guys. Like if I got genetic ascention it would be cool to build them brand new bodies, or with psionics making them ascend to the shroud as your embassy.
I met these guys during a Synthetic Ascencion play-through. My head-canon was that my core species thought it was a pretty cool idea and copied them. Unfortunately the world they colonized was right where the Unbidden popped up in the end.
I once had a small event chain where one of my science ships went to the unbidden dimention and came back in an unbidden science ship. Don't know if many other people had this event but just thought I'd put it out there.
In my game one of my AI neighbors revived them and kept them as tributaries. Last time I checked the Awoken, having been unable to tend to their world on their own, had started to make half a dozen migration treaties to invite other people to their planet. Too bad they have forgotten that us pesky meatbags need food to survive and didn't bother to build any farms, so there is a large hunger revolt going on.
I have ALWAYS loved this event chain. Ever since it first arrived and you couldn't reupload the minds I was like fuck this is a missed opportunity... I hope one day they make this possible. Then blam it happened soon after and the Awoken are one of my favourite encounters and the AI seems happy to download and liberate them as well. In fact it has me thinking this is going to be highly tied into the new AI super crisis with how frequently I see the awoken in my games. Also... awoken huh huh... like the awakened AI core!?! Even if it's unrelated I hope they do a tie in with the awoken joining the great machine purge or fighting it off along side you.
I found this event chain in a materialist playthrough, when I'd literally just switched from Materialist to Spiritualist through the old gods chain. So I gave the data to a Xenophile Fallen Empire and they ressurected... peacocks. XD I know it's a random portrait but they had the Peacock phenotype. Surely if they were linked to the Vultaum it would have a more preset appearance and the species name "Vultaum". That said I never knew you could actually resurrect them yourself. I'll do this with my Geonosian playthrough, since they're focusing heavily on the droids.
Yea I had the fallen empire resurrect them as well. I wonder if you have enough cloning tech if it's possible for you to biologically resurrect them as well.
I managed to revive them while still in the stage of the game where they could expand through colonization. 100 years later they still only have 3 pops and 1 planet though I only had droids at that point so they ended up as droids that couldnt exactly do much other than minerals
I just started playing Stellaris recently and let them form their own colony somewhere else. The sad part is I think they will die soon. I didn't revive them until the end game and they spawned on the border between a fallen empire and the scourge which are currently at war.
As a spiritualist, you can save the data, and then sell it to the xenophile fallen empire who will spawn a living pop of that species on their preserve world.
I always let them colonise a planet in my borders, and generally give them every planet in the sector. Feels evil to leave them or kick them from your empire
I like them. Recently on a xenophobic militarist play through they gave me these badass cruisers that I used to wage war against my neighbors, really loved those guys.
The whole end-goal of the horror game SOMA is basically this. Every time I find these guys I try my best to get them a happy ending they deserve. Unless I'm xenophobic or religious, then nothing happens :(
I revived them and put them in robot bodies and they left to settle a new planet. unfortunately they settled a holy world and got exterminated by the fallen empire nearby a few months later.
What a fate(((
Thats just sad :'c
That's fun, because it's a new level of xeno purge.
Hahah
Same thing happened to me.

Do you mean the custodian matrix?
Bring this series back
WHAT WAS SHALL BE, WHAT SHALL BE WAS
HE NEEDS TO MAKE A VIDEO ON THAT EVENT CHAIN
well, actually, if you dont have robots/synthetics researched yet, you can download the data and store it, until you have the right technology^^
how do you bring them back after saving it?
You get the event after researching it afaik
I had Synths when I researched it and all I could do was upload them for storage. Once uploaded nothing popped up to resurrect them. Mind you I play a Spiritualist empire but I DO have Synths in my empire who are in servitude.
mcsproot When you give it to the enigmatic observers you're giving a copy, I did give it and I still completed the event chain
I started with mechanist perk but I didn't know and didn't yet have Droids technology when I finished the first step. I saved it and a fallen asked for a copy but it has been a while after I got droids and nothing so far happened.
as someone mentioned here and that I kind of believe, they could be Irrassians who tried one last time to save themselves

F
@Demiclea Well to be fair, by the time you have the tech to bring them back anything worth having is already taken.
I once had a small event chain where one of my science ships went to the unbidden dimention and came back in an unbidden science ship. Don't know if many other people had this event but just thought I'd put it out there.
thegoatsy So the weird ship I got was an unbidden ship...why did I let it got destroyed by the unbidden :(
It’s really common for me, it happens almost every playthrough for me
I did
its an anomaly i remember
Oh that's why there's a tiny empire that technically doesn't exist.
The xenophile fallen empire requests them from you if you haven't done anything with them yet.
I don’t think they did in 2.0 when he did this

Somehow they spawned their own empire a while after they settled on one of my planets, effectively doubling their numbers.

Do the infinte loop or the what has been will be and what will be has been event chain. It's my favorite personally, cheers.
I managed to revive them while still in the stage of the game where they could expand through colonization. 100 years later they still only have 3 pops and 1 planet

I'm getting spiffed up by your videos.

I got this event chain yesterday in a game. I hadn’t unlocked robots then but I told my researchers to download the programs for safe keeping
I got 3 robotic pops and I didnt have any robot related tech, it was pretty useful
Oh yeah... I had this one comming up quite often during my games. It's really neat and has some nice endings! :D
Btw, you forgot one outcome that is pretty neat... it involve a fallen empire~
I'd recommend some FTL music, it's really nice and I think free too. :)
I like faster than light music
Every time i watch a video about events in stellaris by you or aspec it happens in one of my game
I found this in my first play through, (still ongoing) although the xenophile fallen empire asked for them, and being xenophile, i handed it over
For some reason this event doesn't ever happen in my playthroughs anymore.

I've encountered the "Galactic Nomads" can you do a video on them?
I like them. Recently on a xenophobic militarist play through they gave me these badass cruisers that I used to wage war against my neighbors, really loved those guys.
I have droids researched but I can't revive them, I don't know what I did wrong
I WANT ALL EVENTS TO HAPPEN IN MY GAME!
Started this chain 10 minutes ago wow
Is there a video I can find of the outro song, I need that song in my life!
Oh, and the lore video was pretty cool too...
i want to know as well
one of my favs
i guess you can say the ending is...
in limbo
The whole end-goal of the horror game SOMA is basically this. Every time I find these guys I try my best to get them a happy ending they deserve.
Unless I'm xenophobic or religious, then nothing happens :(
Do the Vaultum next
And here I was thinking that downloading them would give you a virus
Do you know the event chain/mission chain that let you search old temples to become an spirital Empire?
you do not need to have droids
Awww hell yeah transhumanist utopia
