Here's something I haven't heard a lot of people talk about (at least not that I know of). There's a bit of an exploit in Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC where if you take the harpoon gun and modify it so it's a flechette gun, it fires more than one harpoon. The issue with this is when you're in combat every time a harpoon from the harpoon gun hits an enemy there's a chance of recovering your harpoon from your defeated opponent. The flechette modification makes it so you use 1 harpoon and fire multiple at once. The problem is every flechette harpoon is counted as a regular harpoon, so every harpoon that hits has a chance of being retrieved. This gets a little silly since now you have a chance of retrieving multiple harpoons for 1 shot, and I can confirm this to work (last I knew at least). So effectively you can set a harpoon gun to fire flechettes that have chances of creating more ammo out of thin air and can effectively have an infinite ammunition weapon that as long as you're not wasting your ammo will NEVER run out.

You can duplicate logs by placing them upright next to another log if there is a collision with another intractable object. You can also disassemble your tent after you save and it will be fine ( use c on stick). You can also duplicate meat or fish by clicking too fast on the fish or meat when putting it on a drying rack.
I prefer duplicating logs with the Stick, the most superior item in the game (place log horizontal, prop up with stick, walk into it, it falls over and log becomes 2 logs)
To save an extra like 5 seconds you dont need to equip the stick to raise the tent you can just mouse click on the corner when it shows the arrow and you automatically get a stick out.

I'm not even surprised that Brit managed to destroy the game with glitches before discovering that you can dismantle objects with C.
"Then again I'm British and I can't feel emotions" god I love Spiff's lines haha 😂
World record speedrun is 7:38, so spiff was almost correct with his 4 minute guess
6m 38s 780ms current record on pre patch
You can duplicate logs by placing them upright next to another log if there is a collision with another intractable object. You can also disassemble your tent after you save and it will be fine ( use c on stick). You can also duplicate meat or fish by clicking too fast on the fish or meat when putting it on a drying rack.
I prefer duplicating logs with the Stick, the most superior item in the game
(place log horizontal, prop up with stick, walk into it, it falls over and log becomes 2 logs)
@@spaceyeen The log method I was speaking of you can just spam setting them down and they just flood outward like a pool.
To save an extra like 5 seconds you dont need to equip the stick to raise the tent you can just mouse click on the corner when it shows the arrow and you automatically get a stick out.
The true exploit
To be fair Spiff, everyone's hearts are partly hollow. It's kind of necessary for them to work properly.
really sticking it to them with this one spiff.
As soon as I saw this game release I knew it would have a few bugs and I eagerly awaited a video from the spiffing Brit demonstrating how to complete the game in some cheesy manor. Never fails to amuse me. Keep up the spiffing work you’ve earned i nice cuppa Yorkshire good team my man 🙏🏻
What's better is that if he played on the hardest difficulty and found one more item he could've cheesed all of the enemies by not even breaking the game
Game devs: Let's see how our game is performing
Some British guy: Stick is love, stick is life
Honestly one of the best things I've seen so far this year! Keep up the amazing mate!
This game is the reason why I will be replacing my pc, it had a good run, I bought it circa 2011 (it was an absolute beast back then) but absolutely refused to go past the loading screen.
yeah i'm gonna besaving up for a better one. only getting 16 frames and mine is about from the same time.
I never expected the ending to be so wonderful.
Really spiffing? The game just came out a couple days ago and you already cheese your way to victory, respect with your amazing exploit XD.
Oh man, when you were at the cliff I was like, "no way he doesn't know about the book." You didn't let me down
I’m so glad that sticks are finally getting the recognition that they deserve ❤❤❤
Thanks for making Your own ending Spiff. I wanted to see the exploit, see just how exactly you break everything, but am not sure if I want to have the ending spoiled already (even if it will possibly change, since it's in early access and all). Well, whatever it was originally, your one is definitely better and devs really should take it into the count when finishing their product.
I just love sticks, the glorious brown long hard tubes of wood are just so delightful to find. Sticks are the greatest things ever to exist. I love sticks, I just love them so so much, thank you spiff for making this video all about the Wonderful, godly, and glorious item, the Stick.
All gamers love collecting sticks. As a gag gift I gave out several "Gamer survival kits" to my best gamer friends for this past Valentines day. Each one was a box decorated with images/logos of popular survival games that contained a bundle of sticks, a few rocks, a couple of handfuls of long grass, and a note saying that because I loved them I wanted to make sure they were as well equipped to survive in the real world as they are in their games. Every one of them laughed and hugged me saying they loved it.
Spiffing Brit:"You don't need nukes or guns, the Military lied to you all you need is a stick!"
Me, a HFY reader:"No. actually he has a point."
I mean, a lot of the fun of the game is exploring, building, and generally mucking about. It’s inspiring many UA-camrs haven’t finished it
Maddvlad finished the game in 2 days . It was great to see the ending , still curious on what happens when you get on the chopper to leave the island, after you find the cube in the cave . Lots of cool contents out there , thanks Brit I enjoy the videos 🤙
I always knew Mother 3 taught me the most valuable life lesson: The power of a boy and his stick.
physics: you must take fall damage
Brit: all i need is a book
physics: e.x.e. has stopped working
Brit: splended
From now on game dev patch notes should have a whole section devoted to patching the perfect balances spiff finds. The Spiff Section is what it should be called.
perfect thing to watch while waiting for a game to take forever to load, perfect timing as well
Destiny 2?
Get an SSD
I save/quit and reload in like 10 seconds. Ever think it might not be the game instead your potato computer?
Who’d have thought the humble stick would be OP enough for both Spiff and Shadiversity to extol its power?
The comment I was looking for.
15:15 The Spiffing Brit, being so Brit he pulls out a 70's Doctor Who style Chroma Key effect to prevent viewers from getting the game's ending spoiled.
Considering how effed up with glitches the first game was published, I didn't expect any less for this one... Of course a stick is all you need to break it to the credits xD
It's in a much better state than the first game's release, but there are still a bunch of ridiculous exploits. Halfway through my playthrough I became invincible lol.
I barely heard about this game yesterday and here you are, already broken it to pieces
Spiff really knows how to stick it to the man.
Brit: talking about how everyone else is bad at the game
Also Brit: HOLDING "E" to pickup items
Reminds me of hitchhikers guide and the towel!
Spiff not only uses sticks to beat the game but also provides the best ending.
Btw there is no falldamage in your inventory...
if you start sliding down a mountain just open the old backpack and close it once you are all the way at the bottom.
amazing video! really like the commentary as usual. i found that glitch while playing with my friend before that video im so proud of myself.
This Spiffing Brit really exploits everything-
Except children
You don't need to equip the book to negate fall damage, can just sit in the inventory while you slide.
Lol, oh god this was such a relief. UA-cam has been bombing me with all sorts of nightmarish vids about this game. Thankfully watched this now.
Devs should get you to review their games for any bugs or exploits
Some of them do.
yo brit, could you give a breakdown or a step by step of how to reproduce the flying tech you did at 5:52? could be extremely useful for the speedrun but we are having trouble reproducing it. thanks!
i would also like to know how
same here
Lmaooooo the dancing crabs. I never thought I'd see them again, thank you spiffing brit.
I’ve never heard someone speak of sticks so passionately 😳
My friends keep trying to convince me to play this game, maybe I will after watching this
it is really fun with friends! Very buggy atm but it adds to the charm
E
Haha love the freshwater bay shot. You might be right we are all mutants
