Aaron! I just made this recipe for tonight’s dinner! My teenage son and daughter loved it ( even though it had mushrooms and they don’t really like it)! It was a beautiful dish and, aside from the garlic chives, I had all ingredients on hand! I followed the recipe from the book ( gift for myself) and it is so easy to assemble and make! Thank you and I can’t wait to make more recipes!
Can i use pad Thai noodles? 😢
Aaron's "don't worry about it" constantly plays in my head whenever something goes wrong 😂
Don't Worry Bout It! 🤣
For me is "more green onions, more delicious" and of course the moment to taste "Claire" 😁😊
For me too! 😅
Both phrases should be merch! Maybe with an A&C logo of some type too.
(hands) "don't worry about it" 🤘🏻
"Hello from Seoul!"
"Don't worry 'bout it."
"I'm not responsible."
"Hangry Claire..."
"More green onion, more delicious."
"Bring some kimchi!"
Wow! 6 out of 7 in one video. Only thing missing was "Bring some beer!"
Yeah I wondered if she was gonna ask for beer hehe.
😍😍

@@ididntknowtheyhadwifiinhell Good catch! I missed that one.
I always really love this channel because it always feels like a really accessible way to learn about dishes from Korea. It’s really laid back and it’s really nice he always suggests possible substitutions that may be harder for people to get.
I'm so glad to hear that! Thanks!😍😍😍
@@AaronandClaire MSG ADVERTISING IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCATBALE ! IT RUINS MANY PEOPLE HEALTH! DID NOT YOU READ ABOUT IT?
OK, today i've ordered Japche from a korean Restaurant, and asked myself: "Hm, how would Aaron make this?" Voila: Here we go! I love this Channel!
I knew that's gonna happen!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
HOW THE HELL DID YOU MAKE THIS IN 15 MINUTES!!??!!?!??!???!!???!???!!!? IT TOOK ME 3 HOURS bruh you are actually the literal best cook ever
The 6-minute noodle cooking tip is everything. Just tried making this today. Even though it was a more than 15 minute affair, the result was delicious. If you want to make this and don't have all the ingredients, don't hesitate. I didn't have bell pepper or shitake mushrooms, but I had tricolor carrots, cabbage and button mushrooms. All turned out well.
Agreed! Use whatever fridge veggies you have and this recipe still turns out incredible!
The first few times I made Japchae, they were too oily and the veggies were mushy. Also I couldn't get the taste to my liking. After trying this recipe, it turned out really good! It doesn't taste so oily, the veggies still have a nice little crunch to them, and the flavour is amazing (I included the msg hehe). Thank you!!
Awesome! So glad you liked it! 😁🙌
Thanks!
Aaron, you know jjajangmyeon has a special place in my heart. Please don’t make me choose
🤣🤣🤣
Choose them all ^_^
Oh Claire and her love of kimchi.
She waved at the camera after washing the dishes!
😘😘😘
one thing i really like about this channel is whenever aaron cooks for claire she does the dishes. theyre a great exacmple for a healthy relationship where both give 50/50
The narration is too funny! 😂 Thanks for the recipe!
This channel is saving my life. I have to cook for my korean boyfriend (I’m not korean), because he only eats korean food, so it’s not easy for me but I’m trying and he really appreciates it 🥰
My family and I have recently moved to a small town after living in a large Canadian city for years. As this town doesn't have a Korean restaurant, we have been suffering until my husband found your channel. I believe you have saved our marriage ;) thank you!
So happy to hear that, Rhonda!!! Thanks 😍
My small Canadian town has a Western Cuisine restaurant that is run by Koreans. Over the years, the menu has evolved to include more Asian offerings. The best Japchae I have ever had and I didn't have to travel!
My favorite Korean restaurant was closed six years ago, till I started watching Aaron and Claire for the recipes and lessons on how to make these wonderful dishes I have gone without.
Thank you Aaron and Claire
yessss
the highlight of my week: the notification of your new video😁
So happy to hear that! Thank Ellie!😍
Japchae is one of my favorite dishes, period. SO GOOD.
😍😍
Yooo Japchae is in my top 5 favorite foods of all time. I’ve made it a bunch of times. Thanks for this quick version guys
Please let us know how it was! 😍😍
“more green onion more delicious” aaron never lets us down 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hello from Texas, USA! I made this recipe (tripled the ingredients for our family), and it was SOO GOOD! Our 4yr old and 7 year old loved it, and my Japanese husband did too. Thanks so much!
My pleasure! So happy for you guys! 😁
Just discovered this blog today. I followed the recipe. My very first Korean food I have eaten & It is DELICIOUS! TEXAS here.
JAPCHAE!!! Absolute favorite. Feeling called out and happy. Haha but. Knowing how to make my favorite dish is *Is happy* GREAT! Hi Aaron and Claire!
😍😍😍
I was just wondering “when are Aaron & Claire going to do a video on Japchae?” And here it is! Yay! Love it, can’t wait to try your version. I’m loving your channel and you two are super charming! Greetings from Vancouver 🇨🇦
I knew it!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is anyone else envious of Aaron's knife skills? Is so cool to watch...
I made this last night because I've been CRAVING Japchae and this was exactly the very thing I needed. My noodles did take a bit longer to cook but I also didn't soak them and they still turned out very springy and chewy and were perfect. I used what I had but I used a pork chop and cut the bone off and thinly sliced it and it was super easy as well. The fact that the sauce is so easy and simple is what's so crazy to me you'd think something like that would have so much more to it. Thank you Aaron!
Im going to make this today!!!!! I have all the ingredients plus some extras from my country Puerto Rico. Love it!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
Yay~~!!! Please let us know how it was! 😍
Love!!!!!!! Korean food is unique!!! Adding seafood crazy combination ufff pork and seafood is really good!!!
To be honest I don’t like glass noodles. I tuned in to hear Aaron say “Don’t worry about it.” And to hear hangry Claire say “mmmm.”
Don't worry Bout It 🤣🤣🤣
@@AaronandClaire I can’t decide if you are a former chef or a former comedian
@@irener1111 same. Or currently. Do tell @Aaron and Claire. I’ve been wondering a long time! Do a backstory vlog, don’t forget to include how you met and your courtship.
Thank you I was wondering if I can make it with spaghetti 😂 but then don't worry about it kicked in!
Korean potato starch glass noodle taste better than Mung bean glass noodle.
Do u have a cook book ? If not why not. U know for us Americans who love your food videos and want all the recipes.
Your chopping skills are amazing
I like this “fast” version. Thanks Aaron!!
You're very welcome~! Hope you like it! 😊
You two are going to put some korean restaurants out of business at this rate x D
🤫🤫🤫
The nearest one to me is an hour away. They aren't trying very hard to be in business.
My husband is hooked on Japchae…..so I decided to give it a try…..I liked your “better than restaurant”🤩….Hey I like that😉Thank You!!!
When my whole world is crumbling apart, I can smile watching this lovely couple!
Hope you're feeling better! 💜
Thanks! Everything's gonna be alright so Don't Worry Bout It😍
I love making Japchae, my auntie taught me how years ago. I like alternating different meats. I think steak is my favorite. And there's never any left over for spinach to go bad.😂 I love your videos❤
Really? You are so lucky 😍😍😍
Thank you. I'm blessed to have her. Only thing apparently like most Korean women, she goes by feel not a recipe.. 🤷😉❤ At least that's what she told me.
This recipe is perfect, the sauce is *chef's kiss* balanced!
It is nice to know Aaron always has our back so we don’t have to worry about it. Hi Claire!
Don't Worry Bout It 🤣🤣🤣
I made tonight!! Delicious!
So happy to hear that!😍😍
Ur the only UA-camr who doesn’t make ads and sponsors annoying. Also the most relatable home cook by giving us substitutes and just use what’s at home and longer lasting recipes (by subbing spinach for chives)
Also u and Claire’s relationship is so cute ❤
Aaron you're tremendous on all your recipes 👏. TANKS
Thank you for the upload and Aaron I do like watching you cook, Claire I wish I could sample the dishes too *stay safe and thank you for entertaining me*
Love watching Claire wash dishes at the end ha ha motivates me to do mine too lol
Thanks for this recipe! Using other halves tablet. I made this for my Birthday last night! Was yummy! We could not find garlic chives. More green onion way more delicious. He bought me seeds to grow our own chives! Thank you again JoAnn Sigby
So glad you enjoyed it! Happy birthday! 🥳😁
i was thinking about making this tomorrow. perfect timing !!
Yay!!😍😍
I ate Japchae one time 8 years ago, and never forgot about it, it was so good! I'm definitely trying this recipe
Delicious! Thank you very much. Simple ingredients bold flavor and easy to follow. For me it was little sweet so next time 1T sugar is good! My daughter is enjoying right now!! 😋
Aaron’s chopping skill is awesome! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hope you reach one million subscribers real soon ! This is coming from a Korea born but raised in the USA. Your recipes are simple and you guys are entertaining.
I've gotten them once at H-Mart, and that bit you've explained about spinach not being in there really made me learn something! I'll pay more attention to the dish when I can get them again!
😍
I enjoy your presentation so much. I have learned so much and am now a regular at my (not so local) H-mart
😍😍😍
This is the first recipe I’ve ever tried and it came out amazing 👍🏻👍🏻
Yesss! I make Japchae using a recipe I found online 2 yrs ago. Now ill use this!!
Hope this can be your new favorite Japchae! 😘😋
I’ll try this ,thank you
For those 22 people that disliked it, is everything ok at home? You feeling bad? Cause this is really good
I come for the recipes and stay for Claire’s multiple “mm”s lol gonna try this this weekend 😋

I made japchae today for lunch before this video was uploaded! What a coincidence!
Oh My God🤣
i love the chives as substitute! my husband hates spinach so this recipe actually works in our favor!
Hi Aaron and Claire. I’ve waited so long for a video. I absolutely love your recipes. I can’t wait for your next video. Sending love from America ❤️

You did it again Aaron. Looks so good and really easy too. You won Claire's approval. Love you channel
😍
Hello again from Berea, Kentucky. Aaron and Claire I love love love this recipe. I’ve made it several times and since I can’t eat pork due to being allergic to it, I use beef instead. And I eat it with kimchi on the side, omg it’s like I can’t get enough. I’ve shared this recipe with my family and friends and they love it too, they are always asking me for new recipes from you. Just wanted to say thank you so so much for all these wonderful recipes you share with the world, keep them coming. Send you and Claire much love from USA Kentucky. ❤❤ sincerely Eva Foster
That was my dinner 2 hours ago!!!! It’s my favorite Korean food ever!
Oh my gosh!!! Seriously?! 🤣🤣🤣🤩
I tried your version (but with chicken) twice already and it's always a hit!
So glad you liked it~! Thank you for sharing! 😆👍👍
Wow! Aaron, i tried this recipe and the outcome was delicious! Thank you! Hello to Claire! 👋💕🤙
Hi Aaron! Hi Claire! I literally wanted to eat this for lunch today, and was looking it up!! Thanks Aaron, for your mind reading abilities!!😄
🧙🧙🧙🧙🧙
I make japchae a lot, family loves it so we seldom have any leftovers. Just wanted to add, it is also delicious cold! I've been known to eat it for breakfast if there are any leftovers. I am obsessed with this channel since I found it a few days ago, these two are adorable!! I am so jealous of Claire at the tasting bit 🤤
I want to have Claire’s job in this video :)
Aaron, you give me the courage to cook your recipes. Just wish I had my own Claire to taste test and critique
I was waiting for Claire to ask for kimchi😂😂💜
😍😍
Thank you so much for this! made it for the first time and I’m obsessed.
I haven't heard of this... But I am Excited!!
You will love it so much! 😍
Since l started watching you guys l put in almost all of my dishes:
1. Soy sauce
2.Oyster sauce
3. Sugar
Tastes so amazing, has this sweet taste and so flavourful.
The day your channel showed on my recommendation l just had to subscribe, love it budget friendly and easy to make recipies
I love how you explain EVERYTHING .. why use chives instead of spinach, why you used yellow bell peppers instead of omelette, why you added mushrooms at the end .. etc. .. you honestly make me (an amature in the kitchen) understand cooking better than other short videos on youtube!! 고맙습니다~~~😍
You’re very welcome. Thank you so much for watching! 😘
I love the new ending, with Claire waving goodbye, nice touch.... great cooking as always, thanks so much 💖
Thank you for saying that 😍
Love Claire's tips at the end!
I have made this recipe twice and it is so easy and so delicious! Thank you for your very helpful, clear instructions!
Aaron your so funny, I love the way you present the cooking n thankyou
I must say, i really enjoyed it. It was fast and less complicated steps to run through. And the most satisfying was the super delicious taste.
I always press the LIKE button! Because I love you and claire! Hugs from South Texas USA!
Thank you, Rosa! 🙏😍
I loved the secret tips. I made once and tasted plain and the noodles got all clumpy and soggy. I gave up, but now I might try again!!! Thank you!!!
You're gonna love this recipe so much! 😍😍
Moment of appreciation for Aaron and Claire's extremely sharp knife lol
Stumbled across this Chanel. And I Stan!!!!
I use Korean Glass Noodles all the time because I'm Paleo. This recipe looks like a winner to me with only a few minor adjustments. Thanks! 😋
Love Japchae! I use to eat a lot while living in Chicago in a Korean neighborhood... I have now been making it for my family in Miami for many years and they love it! I prefer to make it as a main dish with white rice.. Thank you for the recipe.... I have never tried with oyster sauce, but I will give it a try 🙂
Yay!! Hope you like it! 😁
Don’t worry about it, Your videos are great, so funny and the food is very tasty!
Thanks David! 😍😍
Exactly what I needed today!!!
I knew it! 😍😍😍🤣🤣🤣
Oh, this is more easier, simpler way than stir frying each vegetable. Thank you for sharing. I love japchee
I like you are clean. Your space. You're handling of ingredients and your tools. Thank you 😊
I actually tried this recipe and it slapsssss😌😌😌also the flavors set in really well after like 4 hours so the leftovers were really good😊
My favorite Korean Dish! I’ll be going to the Asian Grocery Store, today, to get some Korean Glass Noodles, to make this tonight! Thanks for sharing your Recipe!
Just an update… Your Sauce is Perfect! Amazing Japchae!
Dude, your knife skills are on point. You went through that onion crazy quick. Love your channel and your attitude. I just made the garlic gochujang noodles tonight and it turned out great! I didn't "worry about it." Thank you for all your hard work!
Years ago, I first learned to cook japchae traditionally wherein I cook the veggies separately 😅 now I can prep this easier & faster.
Your dishes look so good almost as good as your knife skills. I have the glass noodles now I know what to do with them, thank you.
Thank you for saying that Shirley!😍
thank you for giving me inspiration for new recipes 🥰
Thank you! 😍
Aaron Love all your recipes. They're great👍simple .
Claire you're so fortunate. 😊
She should see your comment 🤣🤣
Even if I didn't have a family member living in Korea, I would still love Aaron and Claire.

I followed your recipe and wowed my family with my homemade japchae! Thanks Aaron and Claire!
