    Hello! I cooked japchae recently copied from our filipino chef vlog and i like it. Coming from a korean version is something i wanted to try. Thank you for this wonderful way of doing it, i learned something new and will be cooking it often.

    I made this for a party and everyone loved it. I adjusted the taste by including more sugar but overall I think this was the best recipe I've ever tried 😊

    I need to cook for a work party. Can I make this night before and how do I heat it up before bringing it to work ?

      It would be best if you could precook all the vegetables the night before. Cook the noodles and mix them with the veggies together on the day. If you need to cook them the night before, please be careful not to overcook the noodles. I hope your japchae turns out successfully! 😀

      I think I cooked the noodles for about 7 minutes. I recommend to follow the package instruction. : )

    Thank you for sharing japchae recipe. Now I can cook my japchae noodle I brought to the Philippines from US. I have dried shiitake mushrooms do I need to soak it first in water to soften? Thanks. 😋🙏

      Yes, they need to be soaked in warm water to soften, then squeeze all the water out, and sliced thinly.

      Yes, I know it. We call the bell peppers paprika in Korea and used those words by mistake. Sorry about it! : )

    “Paprika” will confuse many of your followers, it’s capsicum or red/ yellow/green bell pepper. Btw, your recipe is simpler. It taste just as good compared to the multiple steps done by others.

      In this recipe I think they’d be interchangeable. Yes, she’s using bell peppers, but both kinds of peppers come in a wide variety of colors like red, yellow, orange, purple, and more.

      In Europe, paprika is the term used for bell peppers.
