Damn, I can only watch this with envy from Europe, nothing like those cars here, just POS FWD VWs, SEATs, Renaults etc. lol. The only vaguely useful item you _might_ bump into is a 5sp box off a BMW but they're rarer than a T5 and usually not cheap - and then you'll have to create your own bellhousing adapter because, strangely enough, there's no MDL kit to fit one to a 289 bellhousing😯

My first car I learned to drive on was exactly like that 68 LTD except is was Sunlit Gold Iridium color and was a 4V. Exact same overstuffed black cloth interior. It wasn't necessarily fast but it would smoke some Michelin X radials LOL. Those were THE passenger tire back in the day........

@@OmarRamirezGalaxie Sold it to get something just a little bit "cooler". A 71 Cougar. At the time neither car was very expensive. Now I wish I still had that Cougar because of the 351C. No way I would've hung onto it for decades though LOL.

I've heard (but not confirmed) that the front disc brakes off of a 79 Tbird are a direct bolt on to mid 60s full sized Fords.
Good video ! You might be wrong on the T-5 in that Mustang . Have a 1998 Mustang GT (4.6L) & it has the T-45 .
