Well about time a company figured an easy way to set up this type of bit. Thanks will be buying it the next time I have a project that I want to use this type of bit on.
Well, I have the lock miter and setup gage from Infinity Tools. Works really well. I also use the tool from Micro Jig he used in this video to find the center of my stock. The part about moving the fence to take smaller cuts, I have that covered using the Incra fence.
Our Fitfinder does work very well with Infinity's Lock Miter Setup gauge! But ultimately, you are still setting up by eye using the white lines on the gauge. This bit has a physical place to measure to.
How much of a PIA is a locked miter bit? Well... if with this fantastic purpose designed system, the Microjig guy still says his results are "usually" perfect.
