Hey Dan! First off… Yay Covina! My hometown! Grew up there and worked at Northwoods Inn for 20 years. Second… amazing work man! Unbelievable. Truly. It is mind boggling to me. I stumbled onto one of your videos trying to figure out how to make some carom board type games for the family. ( I have zero experience ) I don’t know if you remember these games or not. I used to play them at the Covina Park Recreation during the summer. Really great memories. I’m hoping to replicate them to get my grandkids off their damn phones and iPads. 😂 Do you think it’d be possible to get some advice/pointers from you one day, say over a sandwich at Capri Deli? I can pay for a lesson or something like that if it’s not too steep. I saw that you do zoom calls but I have cochlear implants and don’t use the phone so I’m afraid I might not hear too well on a zoom. Judging from your work and incredible skill, it shouldn’t be too complicated or take too much of your time. It sure would be a blessing. I can’t seem to find what I need on “youtube college” mostly because I don’t know the correct terms to search. I know it’s a weird request, but I thought I’d try. Hopefully you haven’t moved to Arizona already. Although I wouldn’t blame you. I want to move there but the wife won’t go on account of the 5 daughters and grandkids here. 🫤. Oh well. Thanks for your time. All the best, Ray

I have a 40 year old 1/4 HP Feeder. It slips constantly so I contacted Western Roller and ordered the Blue wheels (they have the most grip). I am using it on my tablesaw and hoping it fixes my problems. They are very friendly and easy to order at Western Roller.

I sand between coats. Try sanding with a finer grit between each coat. Maybe even a scotch bright pad on the final coat. I do probably apply 5 to 7 coats before I’m happy. I’m finding it to be a nice and durable finish . Let me know how it goes. Steel wool works too, just not on a water base finish. I’ve heard of it rusting fibers not cleaned off.
