Thank you for showing how to peel a grapefruit without knife and spoon. I did exactly what you said and it’s so simple and easy. Tell your auntie thank you too.🙋🏼♀️💖❤️🔥
Howdy! Thank you for watching and subscribing 😍 AND trying this technique! Glad you tried and witnessed how much more fruit flesh you get! Yes, I will pass on your appreciation to my Auntie/Tita 🤎
Thank you for sharing your technique! I just peeled two grapefruits using your method. Before I learned your method, I was losing so much of the fruit with my method. As you mention in the video, I didn't lose a lot of the juice peeling with my hands only ... and I love the juice. Again, thank you very much!
Thank you so much for this video! I used to hate grapefruit for its bitterness because I never knew how to properly prepare it. I had to put sugar on it to be able to eat it. I then learned about the cutting method and was amazed how GOOD the fruit tasted with the pith removed! But it was wasteful like you said and messy to do somewhat. I can't wait to try your method because it seems much more natural. I know it will taste good already so I hope to try it tomorrow!
Thank you for watching! Enjoy your grapefruit. It is high in potassium so it's great to pair with salty meals. That said, please be mindful of contraindications with heart medications.
Lol yeaaaaa RIP, I wasn't able to peel the white part after she peeled the thick outer layer off. The amount of juice I sqeezed out while using her thumb technique method, I might as well just have used a knife haha
@@kalahealthandwellness hah alright, I got 3 more to practice on. Wish me luck. The white part is quite bitter as you mentioned. That will be my motivation to peel all that crap off better.
@@MeepMeep88 You got this! I trust you will be enjoying the fruits of your labor. It definitely makes it more difficult to peel with that white layer. Peeling this grapefruit is a nice way to slow time down for sure. Thanks for letting me know.
Going to try your method right now. Have been using chef knife method and also don't like the wasted fruit.

Great video! I’ll never eat a grapefruit another way again! Thanks for the great tips!
Yes, would love to know how it goes! Like with anything in life, it will take a little practice, but the payoff is huge intact pieces of grapefruit!
Great video! Thanks for the tips!!
Glad it was helpful!
Wtf ... showing the first method literally everyone is using the first time he has a grapefruit or Pomelo in his hands 🎉 thank you
I love your method, thank you for sharing it!
Very nice presentation!
Thanks so much Jeff for taking the time to comment! Let me know if there's another fruit you are curious about preparing 😁
Brilliant
Thanks for watching and your lovely comment 😀 I love your name “hanzketchup”. I’m a big fan of Heinz Ketchup!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Jennifer for watching and commenting. I hope you do give it a try and enjoy as much of the delicious and juicy grapefruit with this method.
Thanks

This is great if you love to peel ...
Don’t tell me I’m the only one but when she shows the color of the grapefruit it helps to know if it’s an orange or a grapefruit
Thanks for watching and pointing that out. The grapefruit is slightly pink. Next time, I’ll add a closeup clip so folks can see better colors.
This is a peak right😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for watching and commenting ☺ Is peak right a good or bad thing?
too messy and you have to clean all that peel from out your nails, just use a paring knife and spoon, enjoy !
Why not eat the skin
Thanks for watching Lisa. Do you mean the pinkish outer skin or the white inner skin?
