  • Yes, you can make your own sunbutter at home with sunflower seeds. You will need a food processor and a little patience. Sunbutter is a great alternative to peanut butter or almond butter for people who have nut allergies. In this video I'll show you how to make sunflower seed butter at home with none of the added ingredients you often find in sunbutter from the store.     At what temperature do you roast the seeds?

      I think I just put them in at 350. You could probably go hotter, but just keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
