Have you ever considered the option that blue berry and raspberry are grown in india too. They are costly because they are not farmed that extensively as they need locations with certain geographical features to grow and the plants bear fruit only for short period of time. Their high cost is also due to their short shelf life, storage and transportation costs. Not because they were imported. Import comes from sea route where it takes days or weeks. Add that to time taken from processing the import and transportation to stores that will take another few weeks. Import expenses, transportation, processing storage all would make this as costly as gold dear. Not 350 rs per 200g

How commercial things work : Reality is always hidden from the customers. 🤫 Only attractive, ecstatic, delicious, tempting, etc. things are shown in extravagant ways to attract more and more customers. 😏🥳 It's business. 🏭🌐🚢💵 I started following sugar-free and caffeine-free vegan diet. ☀️🌾 Cows are treated as milk giving machines by various packaged milk manufacturing companies. After 10 years or so, they replace the old cows with young ones. These companies add various chemicals inside the cow's body and also in the milk, and when the cows become weak and unable to produce large quantity of milk, they ( trade/export ) end the cows life to commercially obtain flesh and/or leather. 😠 In the advertisements they use cute animation of happy cows to attract attention of kids and youngsters. Whereas the real cows and the calves are not well treated by many milk factories. So it is better to eat vegetables grown in your locality or city, and it's best if you could manage to find one good vegetable seller who is genuine.
