- You guys voted for how we decide what field to harvest next, so here ya go! I was planning on covering soybeans first, but it’s been raining and so windy that I went with corn since I could do it inside. I hope you enjoy!
Smart ,pretty and country girl she's got it all impressive
The only thing that would make that doodad better is if it was a combination popcorn popper.
The "rattle test" is a new one to me, learn somethin new everyday! Thanks Erin! So nice to see that cute smile again!
You amaze me with the things you know and do!! Awesome!👍👍 Most people don't know how to put on there shoes!😳. Again. AWESOME 👍👍
The best part of waking up is corn in your folgers can. ha! great video. good lesson here. thanks dudette.
Thank you Erin, for another great video you do an awesome, and excellent job. Plus you make it fun brightens up my day. Thanks again Ma'am. Have a beautiful weekend.
Googled that fancy moisture testing tool on your desk, those things aren't cheap! Knowing that farming isn't the most lucrative career path, although necessary, really makes one appreciate the expenses you face! Thank you for what you do!
Erin very informative video - more to harvest than just running the machine to pick the crop !
Hi Miss Erin. Very informative; I feel like I learn something every time. Glad to see more videos from you.
Erin likes Folgers, lol. She knows her stuff. You can tell w. her knowledge she grew up farming. Thank u for sharing.
I’d like to peel the husk back , grab the ear with two hands and twist (rotate )back and forth If the kernels separate, The moisture is typically in the lower 20s 😊
Thank you for feeding all of us.
Thanks for a great explanation!
A lot of great information. Stay safe and healthy. You are doing things.
Always something interesting to learn here
Thanks for the Harvest Update!
I never realized how much hard work and science goes into farming. You really know your “beans” so to speak! Stay safe
Learn something new every day!! Thank you Ma’am.. Great video!
Very cool!
Dear Erin,
Said before say it again. Thank you, and your family for putting food on our table.
Stay safe stay well
Driving around, I'm surprised at how much corn has been harvested in my area. The farmer I worked for would get so mad when the moisture test came back too wet. You were better off to hear it over the radio than be standing next to him. I can't help but love the farming channels!!
Thank you for sharing what you do on your farm
Thank you for the video.
Thanks Erin for sharing with us how yous test your corn
Thanks for this. I’ve never seen the “rattle” test before. You’re pretty good at that!
Very informative, thanks Erin.

Very good to see you great explanation
Excellent educational video keep up the good work
Laura farms had one of your awesome shirts on today's video @ 5:00 and gave you a shout out!🇺🇸😊
Erin: I think you would get a laugh out of Laura's video today! Renamed "Cab Corn! Bummer Dude" 9/24/2021 video
@@scottsoper true, laughed out loud on that video!
Best to you and I hope you can have a few little farmers helping you soon. You will make a fantastic Mommy.
Thanks for the post
Great job Erin!
Another amazing farming video here
Great video explanation of the testing process. Love you video style and format and thanks for the shot of in the field at the end.
Hang in there Erin , doin great😎😎😎
Happy harvest Erin.
Lol. Erin hugged the machine. So cute. 😁
You have a very easy vlog to watch. For myself being a non-farmer your explanations are vey informative. Thanks
Fantastic Machine. Your hair looks nice UP! Have a great harvest. My cousin used to bite the kernals for a moisture test!
Thanks for the knowledge! Knowing where our food grows and how it is harvested is valuable info we all need to know more about.
A side note... when you rattle tested the corn I yelled Yahtzee!!! Anyone else? 🤦🏻♂️😄
God bless the farmers, may your cups runneth over this harvest season! 🙏🏼
Another great video, it was very interesting how moisture is checked.
Great videos. Takes me back to my roots growing up in Marshall County and my Uncles farm.
Thanks for sharing hope you are healing up I seen your post about the broken foot praying for you stay safe and god bless
Thanks Erin keep it up young lady your doing great. Stay Safe
👍 thanks for the lesson 🤙🇺🇸
Thanks Erin, enjoyed your video! You are so awesome! Brings back memories when I was younger and farming, but farming in the south didn't go so good and had to make changes! Have a great day! 💖
Thank you for all you and your family do so much appreciated god bless
thank you Erin for showing me how you test your corn before you cut it take care and have a wonderful weekend
Great video Erin! If you ever get tired of farming I think you would make a great school teacher. Also, isn't it amazing the number of things we find to do with old coffee cans. LOL
Nice little video Erin, I remember you doing that same test last year. Thank you.
Erin finds another good use for a zip tie! You go girl!!! That's something like my niece would do, she helps me alot on our hay/cattle farm!
Many thanks for showing us things behind corn! I like it too and now I understand the movie "Interstellar". We need you 😉😍
That teachers lesson deserves an apple. Keep on keeping on
with her waving the pen around I thought same thing, she looks like a teacher. I voted for the recipe. My brother the corn farmer just chews on it.
Smart to wait. Still early yet and you seem to have the equipment to get it done on time. Thanks for video.
Informative. Thanks.
Awesome vid 👍🏾
Love the hair, 🤙🏽 on point 👌
Thank you
Very informative. Farming isn't easy.
You are incredible good information thank you for the video
Great video Erin. About the only thing I would add is that you can add roughly a point or so after it has gone through the combine. I have farmed most of my life and have never heard of the rattle test. Very interesting. I'm going to start training my ears lol.
Well thanks Erin for the update on the moisture tester and moisture testing and I thank you for making clear the public how hard we work at certain times of the year I'm fitting ground for small grain I just came from disking it's 12:30 Saturday morning the 26th and I just come in out of the field stay safe good to see your videos again
Hi Erin . at first I thought that was a Popcorn marker... lol You are very Smart lady to know them things . God has bless you on your Smart ways. 😻 Take care .. Its always GREAT to see you on your videos
Enjoy listening to you talk about farm life. Love the country life. Not much for the city
That's pretty impressive estimating 25.2% and the machine coming up with 26.2%!
And I laughed at 8:53 - I guess you just have to be careful not to pull someone else's ear by mistake ...
Nice video thank you
I wish to come there nice video nice to see you
Pretty good guest,I'm impressed that you were so close in the moisture content. This Kiwi living in Oz wants to know how those very cute raccoons did.Keep up the wonderful genuine videos
Erin is definitely teacher material love ur video's
Hi Erin good video. Yes it's better to leave it in field longer less time to run dryer and cost less. I've had to watch a dryer many times great in winter time to keep warm..lol You are a beautiful young lady a man's dream! Keep up the good work.. Heal up well.
Great segment, Erin; well done.
Less than 9 cuts with intro and outro in a ten minute piece. A Producers dream.
Pretty soon you'll have to join the Directors Guild!
Great video.
Hope you never give this up i love it REALLY.............................
Great video Erin
That's amazing that you are already talking corn harvest when we are three days into soybeans and we're a good week ahead of a lot of guys around here in WI.
I would have loved to have that back in the days, we had a portable one, that you put the grain in, to the top, tok a small ruler thing and scraped the top level and then you tightened the lid back down to a certain point depending on the grain type, and then there was a meter on the front that showed the moisture
Not so accurate as this one, but worked fine enough..but wow, good guess on just hearing it rattle!
Hey pretty lady... Thank you for sharing... Be well... Keep healthy...
Interesting! I have never heard of the rattling method
Keep up the great videos love you girl
N7ce to see, nice to see you, god smil and god to explanin.
Sorry to hear about your broken foot. i hope it heals quickly
Thanks Erin. Nice to see that pretty smile again. How is the tooth doing. God Bless.
Good Saturday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset in the UK
Good morning from Massachusetts, is that a farming area?
Now... if only that moisture tester could make popcorn Erin ! 😯 😋 🤔 🙉 💜
That shirt worked really well on you😎
Very good video
the bite test and the crunch test is for real. this should be a competition between farmers.
Hi Cale! Looks like the combine is doing better!
You have done ✅. fine.
I really like the way you talk to the camera 📷.
I remember this from last season. The moisture test.
👍👍
Figured it must be windy day based on your hair style. Lol. It’s often windy here in southern Alberta
loved the end......... well except for the hand.
Hi Erin. I'm going to save your video till a little on this evening.
Pretty cool Erin, you're adorable by the way.
Peace and love, Tim
For the life of me I couldn't figure out how the moisture meter got the moisture content so fast. I had to look it up. Dielectric constant. Pretty cool.
Corn is the sweetest thing
Glad you're back nice to see honest people
Not impressed with some other farming videos
Lots of downed corn in Central Illinois getting harvested. Best I’ve seen is 18.9%, most have been in the low 20%s.
Great video. You could consider teaching Agricultural Science. And color Green agrees with you.
