  • Not quite a farming video, but it makes farming much more enjoyable and tasty! This is how I make my baked rotini to freeze and save to put in my tractor oven in the auger cart during harvest to have a hot, home cooked meal during busy season.
You can find both the tractor oven and the pans I use here! ⬇️⬇️

This was my introduction to your channel. I absolutely enjoyed the idea and didn't realize (40 years later) this was still a thing. I had to immediately share your channel with my wife. I left the farm years ago and have been living vicariously through many social media farmers. Y'all don't hide the hard or the tedious, but it is still interesting to me. Best wishes for a good harvest and success on the farm and channel. Your point of view is very refreshing and I enjoy your humor.

She's a high school english teacher , cleans houses , and works at a restaurant . The reason my daughter is single is because most young men today don't know how to treat a lady . They are to selfcentered and try to impress her with lip service that they can't backup when push comes to shove . And then there's me , her father , who can see straight through their bull**** . Erin , you definitely have it going on in making tractor food . My grand parents had a working dairy farm . Had the privilege of growing up on their farm . Have done all the same work that your doing now and learned alot from it. It's long hours and hard work . And in between farming , milked cows morning and night . I call it a privilege because not everyone gets to experience farm life , and it was truly a great experience. Like your videos because it reminds me where I came from . Keep up the good work ! And I have to agree with you , the wine would be the best ingredient in making the food!

Hi from Ireland. I tried low carb as my uncle got alzheimers. I was trying to see if it might help him. Anyway I was eating fat and protein ( beef steak, liver, eggs, cheese, fish and some greens) and only once a day.
My eyesight memory and fitness improved and I had more energy. So I had a heart calcium score as my doc was kind of curious and it came back perfect zero. So, I reckon keto or low carb is the way to go. The long fasting period each day is good for the body and brain.

On our farm we weld little short pieces of pipe to the exhaust manifold that fits a soup can. Works like a champ.

Get some jerky on the list. Relatively healthy and who doesn’t like jerky?

    • @haroldhenderson2824

Different types of meats to make your own jerky. Venison (or Elk, Antelope, whatever the locals hunt), Turkey (even chicken), Goose or Duck can be used also. Buffalo and lean beef. You are too far north for alligator! YOU control the salt. You control the spice (heat) or Teriaki. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup. Lots of options.

I just cooked that same stuff Erin. I bought 4 boxes and cooked 2. I fried ground beef in my wok, added some taco seasoning, diced/sliced onions, cayenne powder, cause I like it medium hot, not killer hot, just enough to give me a chirp, or maybe a burp lol. I made some Taco Bell Crunch Supremes, wow were they good, I wish you were here to try them. Have a beautiful night.

Raisins , Chocolate Covered Raisins, Celery, apples, pears. Try a bottle of Burgundy Wine or any Red Wine in your pasta sauce, you have to reduce it over heat first. It will intensify the flavors. I like homemade meat meat pockets, Tamales & Croquettes in the tractor to, if you have a way to warm them Croquettes have to be my favorite.
