Week Recap: Planting........and Snow?!

- We had a pretty strong start to the week with my brother home to help for the weekend, and while we didn’t get any corn in the ground, we ended with roughly a quarter of the soybeans planted. We shut down late Monday afternoon to see what the weather did with a cold front moving in, and ended up not getting back in the fields the rest of the week except for a little groundwork on Saturday. Thanks for watching!
My grandpa once told me, "if you find a girl not worried about grease on her nose, she's a keeper."
A woman who can operate equipment, get dirty, shrug it off and love what life offers is a goddess. Wish I could find one.
Would thoroughly enjoy some Dad and daughter one on one interviews about the farm and it's history!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK... "ALOT CAN CHANGE IN 8 MILES"...
SO TRUE !!!
My comments are usually short. This video struck so many memories. I may not be farming back home anymore but so many things are the same. I tell my friends, they all end in day; when they ask why I work so much.
Thank God I was raised the way I was! God Bless you, your dad, your staff and every farmer out there. They will never get the credit they deserve. Especially in today's "climate" I remember Grandpa saying; Little Tom, make sure you kneel tonight for a good yield tomorrow. Miss that man!
Raw and real is the treasure in your channel. Thanks for letting us ride along. As a farmer, you are at the will of whether the weather will let you win.
I worked on a dairy farm as a teenager and have always had an appreciation for farming but watching the day in and day out struggles of an operation the size of yours gives me a whole new appreciation for what you do. Your Dad is a lucky man to have such a dedicated, hard working and kind young woman like you for a daughter. Keep up the great work, I love your content!
Wow. I wish my two sons worked half as much as you.
God bless your parents for raising such a wonderful young lady.
Your face is cute no matter if it is clean or dirty.
Erin, thanks for making your videos. I thoroughly enjoy watching!! You explaining all the behind the scene stuff makes it even more interesting.🙂
Your background music is perfect and always seems to be just the right volume. Great job
Some people don't realize how much work farming is. Even with technological advances, there is always something to fix, adjust or change out. If only the weather would cooperate. Great videos.
As always Erin you melt my heart, so smart, intelligent, amazing, loves the outdoors, your perfect in every way possible.
You and Laura from Laura farm and Meredith of the Farm Wife impress me with your ambitions and love for farming. Amazing how you ladies are so serious and down right ready to lend a hand.
Blessings from Ohio. Hope you are feeling better by now!
Never be worried about alittle dirt on your face... Be proud. You make the dirt even better....
Thanks for another great video. It's so refreshing watching you taking farming seriously. You are a lot more mature than some of the other young women on UA-cam. All they do is giggle.
Your dad seems to be a no nonsense kinda guy. If he didn't want you to make your videos I'm sure he would have found a way for your camera to have an accident. Keep up the great content.
You look good with a smudge on your nose. Its the new fashion trend. All the runway models will have them.
Erin your channel brings peace to my soul. Its an escape to my growing up simple life where there's no hustle and bustle. I really should move back home.
You definitely a vital part of the operation. The seemingly mundane tasks keeps everything flowing. I am amazed how much you do. You are not just an operator.
Erin, you are absolutely adorable even with black crap on your nose. LOL
Hello hope you’re feeling better god bless you and your family
So lovely! Thank you for the updates. . . these are so nice.
Hi I hope you are okey....Love your vids... the music you have in the videos tells me that it is your videos and it is sooo relaxing.
I'm amazed every time I watch those planters, how complex they are and how talented all you framers are!!!
Another great video Erin.stay safe and healthy 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Nice to see you in good form again and sounding better, glad you powered through it and came out on top.
Hooray for you from moving over to let traffic past your tractor. You can teach a lesson to the south central Pennsylvania Farmers I get stuck behind for miles. They pull over for no one. I think you are my new favorite farmer. And certainly the prettiest!
Is there anything this girl can't do?
Great job Erin.
There's very few things most farm girls can't do. That's what makes farm girls such solid wives.
You need that seatbelt on!!!!!! awe can’t risk loosing a treasure like you!
We finished planting our 17,000 acres last week. We already have some beans coming up and some rice. Then two nights we had a frost, but it doesn't look like it hurt the little plants too much. I don't know why I like watching farming videos, like yours, after farming all week, but I do. Fun to see how other people do the same thing a little differently, I guess. Y'all be careful!
Amazing farming video
You will seriously enjoy the Milwaukee M18 grease gun. You will actually enjoy the that messy chore.
Good stuff. It is clear you are part of a world class operation. Keep the vids coming!
This is the first video I recall seeing advertisements in..congratulations on the monetization, you deserve it!
Farmers rock! Love the videos Erin, keep them coming. We know it's a busy time of year, but greatly appreciate all you folks do.
The only farm channel I watch that I know nothing about your father and you get “caught” filming. It’s like you’re not being supported trying to make good farming content. I guess I can understand. I know y’all are super busy. But you still put out great videos. I wish you all the best luck in planting are hope for an excellent harvest. Which I can’t wait to see how all the crops do. Have a great week! I loved the Woman farmer T-shirt!
"This is how they used to do it." Oh, you youngster! Yeah, that's actually how we used to plant thousands of acres 😆
God bless are farmers thanks for what you all do
Thanks for the video and glad to see you guys planting.
Farmers are a different breed. Seeding season turns us on. Sorry Erin I had to fire that off. Plaid shirts and white T's with a full grip of coffee. Warm it up and sip away. Hoppers up and kicked the tires. Fluids good enough to roll.
Love your videos Erin!
Thank you so much for sharing your time with us.
Thanks for another nice video.
Love you Erin! Blessings!
great video and good luck this year Erin!
Holbert reminds me so much of Jessica. Her parents owned and operated a really old rundown hotel/bar in a small town called Georgetown. She was really cute and funny. Her dad was cool too. His name was Nick.
...but I digress.
She was the one that got away {:.C(
So beautiful and hard working! Thanks for the great videos!
I very proud of you. You do a great job working on the farm

Sounds like you are feeling better than last week. Good to see that. I think just about every farmer I've known has had the, plans are subject to change at any second mentality for the day. Keeps you on your toes.
Erin, Great video. You stay so busy each day. Your Dad should be very proud of you. I thought here in Md. We were the only one with unpredictable weather Lol. You have a good week 🙂
corn, soybean and wheat futures are soaring. I hope you have a good growing season
The dust on the nose is about the cutest thing i've ever seen!

Idk why you popped up in my feed, but I love it! I’m subscribed and can not wait for the next video!
Your Dad HAS been around, a time or two!:) I guess you'll just have to trust him! I grew up in MN, but wasn't a farmer:( Thanks for giving us some of what you and your family go though, in the 'Day to Day' stuff! Semper Fidelis
Thanks!! for the video you always look pretty 😍 and down to earth if you know what i mean but once again thanks!! for all the videos
Enjoy watching y’all everyday operation , brings back memories from when I was a child to late nineties when my dad and uncle decided to stop row cropping , I planted my last cotton field in 1998 , still farming small time with my wife , really more homesteading , but I do miss planting and working the big fields , we ran International tractors , our largest was 1456 with four row planter , Keep up the growing
I love your content!
So much to remember, it can't be easy
