Very cool build. I wanted to see what the back looks like. I know the wood used on the back wasn't that great, but it still would have been neat to see the back but very cool build nevertheless. I've really got to try to build one like this style. I haven't done anything quite like this yet.
Yeah I should have shown the back at the end! But you can see it around the 5 minute mark! It doesn’t change from that much with finish. The wood definitely wasn’t as nice as the mahogany! I wasn’t sure if this build would turn out so I didn’t use my best materials. I might try again with better quality stuff!
Hi I just got into the diy guitar building and I just wanted to know if you sell the template's because yours turned out awesome and I'd love to try and build my own version
Impressive build and I love the design! I just started watching your videos and I dig the creativity! I used to make a lot of things with wood, chairs and stuff, this makes me really want to up and make instruments but I've been too busy working all the time. I'm curious if it's possible to make a guitar you can play with a bow, where there's an arch to the bridge. It'd require all custom stuff though, so I don't know. It sounds fun to make though.
Anything is possible! You should totally try it! I wanted to build an instrument a long time before I actually did it and I wish I had just got started earlier. Im still learning as I go but that’s what’s fun about jt!
Thank you! I honestly don't remember! I bought these pickups months ago. They're some cheap off-brand that I got from Amazon. Someday, I'll make a better version of this guitar and I'll buy better hardware and electronics. I'm thinking maybe 2 single coils like a telecaster would be cool for this bodystyle!
The bridge is just like a les Paul style bridge then I bought a tailpiece for an arch top. I had to cut the end a bit because it was meant for a thicker guitar.
Actually I started this one without having seen the scattervarious. Once I saw scatter’s guitar I almost stopped so I wouldn’t seem like I was copying but then I decided to go for it anyway. His is way nicer, but I enjoyed making it!
THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE COOLEST SEMI HOLLOW!! I love the headstock and bridge.
Thank you! I wasn’t sure about the headstock, it was kind of a big swing, but I ended up liking it!
Another great guitar build! I would like to see a hollow body flying V build.Thank you for the effort and Inspiration!
Thats a really cool guitar. I was expecting a floating bridge but you went a different way. Really like the head stock.👍🖖
Next time I’ll make a violin style floating bridge. I’ve got plenty of maple!
Dressing up as a founding father and playing slipknot would be metal af🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful. It would have been nice if you have shown wiring the pots and pickups.😎

Wow! That just might be your best yet
Very nice! Well done!
Really cool, man!
Thanks! I’m enjoying the progress on your mandolins!
Omg! This is one of the most beautiful guitars i've ever seen!! I love it! Congratssss!! ❤
Thank you friend!
Awesome work sir, like the effort to get the carves just right 😀
Yeah it was definitely more effort than I was originally expecting.

It's a looker by all means sounds good
Dude. That. Is. AMAZING. 🤩 Do you ever plan on making an electric bass? I would LOVE to see one. (Other than the old desk one ofc)
I’ll probably make another one someday! I like the idea of a violin/double bass style body like this one for a bass. Maybe that’s the way I’ll go!
@@dannylewisguitars You are so cool. 😂

I want to see Seiji Igusa play this
That would be awesome! I love his playing.
What No Bow!!!
would be cool if this was fretless like a violin, cool build as always though!
Maybe a fretless bass! Thanks for the idea!
@@dannylewisguitars As a bass player who sometimes plays guitar, "I approve of this message." 😜
I would have loved snailhouse like wound headstock, like violins have 😳
I wasn’t thrilled with the headstock on this one honestly. I think I’ll make another one someday and change some things up!
Very Cool build! Super creative Sir! what type of pickups?

@@daniellewis2811 Lipstick or goldfoil pickups would look cool.
I'm so impressed I have to build my own now. what is that style of bridge called?
The bridge is just like a les Paul style bridge then I bought a tailpiece for an arch top. I had to cut the end a bit because it was meant for a thicker guitar.
I want one... it's awesome!
you shouldve put a hollow center behind the strings (even tho thats not on a violin) so you could use a guitar bow on it to sound more like a violin!
So cool, but I wonder if that point is a little uncomfortable on the leg?
You forgot the chin rest!
making a similar build a few questions how did you finish and is it nitro or poly i really want mine to age
I’ve never used nitro. I used a wipe on poly for this guitar and I’m pretty happy with it!
Inspired by Scatter Lee?
Actually I started this one without having seen the scattervarious. Once I saw scatter’s guitar I almost stopped so I wouldn’t seem like I was copying but then I decided to go for it anyway. His is way nicer, but I enjoyed making it!
No way to adjust the truss rod???
There’s a hole for access at the headstock. You can just barely see it at 7:07 in the video.
Weird shape. Les Paul would look more like violin than this.
Brutta come poche cose al mondo,
