@@giomusah2155 possibly. But that's not the point of getting a handmade one. Quality and longevity are one reason. Most things mass-produced at lowest cost will generally not have the lifespan or long term reliability as a handmade. Also, mass produced stuff will be generic and near identical. Handmade (by professional artisans) will generally have higher quality in materials, fit and finish, durability, and with instruments, often sound. There is also the unique element of a handmade object, as well as supporting a person and tradition. There is a place for the cheap fast option. But it's not necessarily always the best. @@giomusah2155 Yes indeed, just as it is with human beings themselves. I was surprised, how late the bridge was attached. The spacing of the frets has to be (almost) mathematically determined and the distance to the bridge exactly right. The workshop is well equipped. It would be interesting to know how Mr. Hayase learnt to make guitars and how he built up his stock of unique tools. As many have commented, a beautiful and very personal film.

This video was absolutely amazing!!! A true craftsman at work, but more importantly a loving Family man. The world, as big as it may seem, just got a little smaller. Humanity is a Beautiful gift when shared amongst ourselves. May he live a long life and his instruments allow guitarists to produce music heard around the world for generations to come. Bravo!!! ❤
Mr. Hayase is lucky to have Mrs. Hayase as a partner.
such a very long process, full of details, thoroughness and patience... Japanese people are really very responsible for their careers and really quality. I admire the process.
Absolutely incredible! Worth every penny. The amount of love that goes into these, he deserves more!
Fine craftsmen always deserve more!
Amazing to watch. What a craftsman. It must be extremely rewarding. It's a lucky player that is blessed with such a guitar.
This is an amazing Guitar Build and I would say whatever he gets for his guitars, it isn't enough... Japan treasure this man He is an Artist.
As a guy from Switzerland, where we love to do things with quality, I am stunned. Congratulations for all this work, and for filming this in a simple and quiet manner. Thanks you people.
I just watched this artist from the beginning to the very end make this acoustic guitar, and it was so amazing… I pray that others, see this and look into his website and buy his beautiful guitars!
The best part of this video is not the guitar it’s self , but to watch a dream in progress . God bless you embracing your calling and stepping out on your faith to achieve your dream many never find . Love this video and you sharing your beautiful family and journey.
Theres just something about watching master craftsmen doing their thing ❤
I hope he has much success and recognition for this great work. .beautiful guitar.
Remarkable..
Perfect combination of traditional handcraft and modern tools with artistic touch..
Resulting in great products, and very inspiring as well
great craftmanship
I was surprised, how late the bridge was attached. The spacing of the frets has to be (almost) mathematically determined and the distance to the bridge exactly right. The workshop is well equipped. It would be interesting to know how Mr. Hayase learnt to make guitars and how he built up his stock of unique tools. As many have commented, a beautiful and very personal film.
It's just amazing the craftsmanships of Japanese are.... I hope he pass his skills and knowledge to his boys..... I bow to you Hayase-san...
He is a superb artist and a wonderful family man! I really enjoyed watching this. It was very thoughtful.
This man is an Artist. There is no detail large or small that has been missed, I am in awe with his work. I build Electric Lap steel guitars and i play them plus i play lead guitar in a band. I could not stop watching this video and really had a seance of peace and contentment as i followed the sequences ,not much different than what i do .Thank you for sharing this and your family

Excellent work, perfect. It's not a guitar, it's an heirloom. ❤
Respect for beautiful guitar making.
I've watched a lot of skilled luthiers doing builds, but never one that equaled this man's attention to the finish on an instrument or the steps taken for longevity...brought a tear to my eye seeing how exquisite the finished guitar turned out!
Beautiful guitar, excellent craftsmanship. Such a pleasure to view this video. Thank you very much.
Dear master of guitar-building, I want to express my deep respect and joy about your amazing work and life!
After watching this video, I am left speechless. Rin, you have it going on! Amazing work, wonder family. What more could a man ask for. Hats off to you sir!

Like and Respect ❤
Incroyable, merci pour cette très belle vidéo
This guitar build was good enough to win the Grand National., the Premier League and even a Bafta,,, ... Just goes to show that having all of this modern day equipment ran by computers is a far cry from a true master of their craft. I enjoyed every second of this video. Thanks for sharing.
damn that was some clean work, and a majority was all hand carving and sanding parts! great attention to detail
Probably the best video on You Tube.
A master craftsman who lives a beautiful life style.
Thank you for this video.
Hallo!
Thats what you called true craftsmanship, dedication and hardwork,a timeless piece👏🏻❤️
