If you notice, at 5:00, I had to add a little "wing" to both sides because my board wasn't wide enough.
Another fine build! I really enjoy your process. I love how you used the nail heads for fret markers. What kind of oil did you use for the finish? It really pops out the wood grain.

Good eye, small fry! It was totally an accident. I was pretty mad at myself when I figured out I messed that up because I had no more pallet wood to redo the neck. But I kind of like it now. You don’t see a lot of telecasters with reverse headstocks.
Are you using water based stain? If so, then you should spray the wood with some water before applying. It really helps with the finish by getting rid of any leftover residue from sanding that gets stuck and causes that scratchy, slightly abrasive raised whiskers once the finish cures. I feel like I can see them here.
@@Arunnn241 yeah I did do a quick spray with water to raise the grain and then a light sanding to get rid of the fuzzies. I just don’t show much of the sanding process in the video because it’s boring. I also don’t use any stain on this guitar. Just an oil based polyurethane finish.
Just a piece of advice, don't be afraid to go super thin when you're shaving your bracing. Alvarez goes down to 5mm thick bracing that tapers to a sharp edge down the whole length nowadays. It gives the top more freedom to vibrate and you still achieve acceptable durability.
