Even though it would probably be a cheap guitar from the beginning i love to see that it has been given new life and restored back to its former glory!
I like this. Cool trick on the white tuners. I have salvaged a few guitars, one I found on the side of a road. It’s magical to bring them back to life. I would have left this guitar in its natural finish, it was magnificent. But now it’s just another brown. Its female decoration’s says it was Loved by a girl ! Nice job & not too much damage to fix
The cosmetics are great, but you should also pay attention to the neck alignment with the body and bridge. A few simple tools will enable you to measure neck relief and string action (the height above the frets). That will determine if the neck angle is good for playability and sound quality.
It would also help if the strings were nylon and not steel, that guitar shouldn’t be strung with steel. Not sure if the bridge internal bracing or the neck will fail first but something will give when the tension is three times higher than it’s designed for.
Thank you for the video . I have an old Kawai Classical that was given to me a number of years ago that pulled out of the case. The Soundboard is solid and, I want to get the top coat cracks off it. This my first time doing this procedure. You gave some great ideas. Thank you Sir !
Wow, good save! I was hoping there would be a demonstration of how it sounds 😂thank you for that! What type of wood is that? I know there is veneer, just not sure what kind? It looks like maple? It's so beautiful!
Well, I must say an admirable job turning that trash into a playable instrument. You did a nice job covering up a lot of the cancer, wish you’d have shown some of it. You didn’t rework the nut, bridge/saddle, or give it a fret job, what made you make that decision? Nice video, thank you for sharing.
I scored 2 acoustic Yamaha guitars 1 in its case in Guitar Center Dumpster so far this year. sold them both on ebay, with their minimal damage. $487.54 total.
Nice work, but how did you get those obvious stains on the front of the body out? First they are there, next shot gone. I see you sanded, but they looked real deep. Oxolic acid maybe??
So this guitar is actually supposed to have steel strings on it. The tuners are a dead giveaway that it’s supposed to be steel strings. Back in the 60’s a lot of lower priced acoustic guitars had top loaded bridges that feed from the back of the bridge rather than having bridge pins to retain the strings.
Always love to see instruments being spared from the trash. Thanks for the musical feast, as well!
Thanks 😁
Even though it would probably be a cheap guitar from the beginning i love to see that it has been given new life and restored back to its former glory!
Thank you for the wonderful restoration; stay blessed
The genius is seeing the treasure under the trash. As always excellent work.
Thank you so much 😊🤗
I was hoping we’d get a demo at the end! Thanks for that!
Thanks 😁

@@hydeaspire1sets of nylon strings consist of 3 wound strings
Exactly, dude shellacked over everything, bridge, saddle, nut, it is likely less playable now LOL!
The greatest guitar restoration I've ever seen, congratulations master...💖💖💖
Thank you brother 😊🤗

Beautiful job
Thank you 😊🤗
Hi from sunny Florida 🌞 ☀️ 😎
Hi 🤗 Thank you 😊
It looks like it plays nice - the strings have good vertical alignment with the fretboard.
Nice restoration👍😊
That was a cheap guitar, made for a child or student (or just a cheapskate). I'm frankly amazed that you got the results that you did.
Excellent job ,from junk to a usable guitar ...the person who dumped it would be surprised ,I'm sure ...
Best part of video is when he speachs..... Lol kidding I love see how much love someone can bring tho those projects.
so beautiful!
Trabalho ficou incrível, só faltou tocar no instrumento.

Hi friend 🙋 fantastic I loved 👏🇧🇷
Beautiful!! ❤
Great job!!!!
Thank you 😊🤗
TRABALHO MARAVILHOSO. UM INSTRUMENTO VERSÁTIL E ILIMITADO.
Muito obrigado 😊🤗
It’s beautiful ! 😳
Thank you 😊
Tremenda chambonada pero quedó muy bien.
¡Gracias! 😊
It's so pretty now and the professional concert was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents!! 💚🍻
Hahaha, thanks Matt 😁🍺
It looks real good after renovation 👍👍
Thank you so much mate 🤗
ARTIST WORK BRAVO .
Very well done. You have to shape and regraduate fingerbread, bridge, nut and fretts. Not too difficult for someone as competent as you.Congrats.
Excelente trabajo….
Beautiful
Muhteşem ötesi bir çalışma olmuş ellerinize sağlık
Now it's ready to be played again❤

I have a stradOLin fg11 that has the EXACT tuners! It's a small cheap crappy guitar that I play now almost everyday.

Wonderful job - but did I miss the part where you mended the holes on the face?

Güzel iş çıkarmışsınız tebrikler
The junk guitar has been reborn as a high-quality item with shellac coating. It's impressive. I'd like to play it.
Thank you 😊🤗

Ficou muito lindo🎉
Thank you 😊🤗🙏
Excellent work but a bit dark. Should have let the natural color shine through.
Thank you 😊
Great..where do you buy shellac and colour stain ?
Thank you. I usually shop online.
Ciao ismayl 😃🙋
Ciao Luca 🤗 Grazie 🍺🍺
Nice work, but how did you get those obvious stains on the front of the body out? First they are there, next shot gone. I see you sanded, but they looked real deep. Oxolic acid maybe??
Yes, I forgot to shoot that scene. Part of the stain was removed with alcohol, the rest with oxalic acid.
Thanks a lot, that clears it up for me. @@Restomaniac

Tokyo T-shirt I like it!!
i am japanese😊
I love Japanese culture ❤️
A wall hanger at best.
And no work needed on frets or neck? The nut in perfect condition? Why ball-end strings and not nylon? Good wood work.
I'm happy with the result. Thank you.
Where is the chief inspector Tom?
Lazing around in the air-conditioned upstairs 😁😁🤗😽
