Metallica's Kirk Hammett interviewed for MTV's "The Week in Rock" during the Damaged Justice tour in 1989. I remember watching this at my parents house when it aired on MTV and was super stoked when he said ‘Abilene, TX’ when referring to places they played that he never knew existed before… Metallica’s Abilene, Texas gig in Jan of ‘89 was my very first concert ever!!
