C.A is the Bruce Lee of fishing.. he takes what works and discards the fluff. His condensed tutorials are priceless. I am a better angler because of the genuine sharing of his vast knowledge.
Some of the largest Reds and Snook I have ever caught have come from using the 2000 jr however on the flip side my largest Trout and Stripe Bass have come from the 17MR and the 17MR deep sink MirrOdine. I absolutely Love these baits!! Another great video CA thanks for sharing!
I only fish in line hooks on my lures. I also reverse my front in-line hook, so I won’t catch as much grass hardly any and I have better hook up ratio less fish come unbuttoned.
Just transitioning from doa popping cork to hard baits\paddle tail fishing and had alot of luck in the big bend recently with the mirrodine. Used a couple with alot of pink in the stained/dirty water. Also the 4" diesel minnow in pinfish did really well. Really enjoying the videos keep it up. Now headed to Saint Simons where the locals say you have to use live bait.
Had a great January here in NC with a catch 2000 with the mullet skin, it def caught bigger fish than the mirrodine with mullet skin. Also love the casting distance. Now that the temps have dropped im back to throwing the mirrodine. I just love the skin series, wish there was a catch jr in mullet skin.
Thank you for educating people on the Catch Jr. I swear that clown face pattern number 11 produces results. I always threw them on my MH plug rod. Ill try it on my Medium Terramar this weekend and see if I can tell a difference.
I did a UA-cam video on this probably about 3 weeks ago. Yes less hang-ups, better on fish and less danger for the angler... and in some instances the lure performs better
@@flatsclasscharters do you also forego the loop knot on the Catch 5? I like that lure but because I twitch hard (need to back off my caffeinated need to twitch so hard), I often foul that front hook over the line or lure’s nose just like with a Mirrodine or Catch 2000). Your instructional video on the Mirrodine is excellent counsel to adjust my retrieve to steady … small twitch or two … steady slow straight retrieve
I want to really like this channel (because there is some good info by CA from time to time), but his videos almost always end up feeling like a sales pitch for his sponsors

😉 but I got to work on my flying reverse heel kick...
I second that!
Great info describing the differences in action a sink rate.
Also love how the Florida fisherman has a Louisiana intro! Sportsman’s Paradise.
I know you have probably done them separately but I wish you would make one whole video breaking down each mirrolure, what they do, and techniques

Ahhh, the locals say that every where... stick to arties you will persevere!
Nice Jr. I’ll have to pick up a couple to see what they do here in SE La. thanks

What! Shoulda watched the whole video before i commented, will def be getting one!
The original Catch 2000 is my go to on casting gear. Cast like a bullet. Also like the rattle. Green transparent
Definitely a great plug...
That was helpful, for both plugs, Thanks.

Thank let me know how it works out!
First. Love you're video's, Great knowledge.
In the Tampa Bay Area would you go with the MR17 or MR27. Mainly bank or Wade fishing. Thanks as always
MR17 is tough to beat in Tampa Bay but low light or windy days definitely the MR27
@@flatsclasscharters thanks CA
Fishing in Jupiter next week and recommendation of captains for back bay snook fishing ?
I always reach out to Capt Ed Zyak or my friend Capt Buddy Kirkhart
CA do you like the single hooks better to the treble hooks , due to hang up is less hang up ?

I still have a glow colored catch jr somewhere-Nobody talks about the catch 5 though, great surf bait for those tide runner trout 🤔😁🤠
I like the Catch 5 for snook here in Florida
I’d love to see your version of a Catch 5 video and instruction. They’re rare or scarce for that model on UA-cam

How’s your gal like that GLF rod?
She loves it... and who wouldn’t at that price point. Great value and solid performance! #shimanofishing
That looked like the waccasassa river Captain CA
It was Ken

You kinda have to know what his sponsors are when he recommends different gear.
