I bought one like your example two weeks ago because it just looked right and ran shallow. Last Saturday the trout weren’t committing to topwater. One popped the spook jr out of the water no less than ten times over about fifteen feet before a 17” finally ate it. That being an indicator I thought why not try the new magic bullet. Best choice I’ve made in a while. A 3 twitch and slow roll retrieve was the ticket. The wind blew me off the water at the three hour mark and I had 8 trout with five between 20 and 23”. I’m sold. Most fish had dog boned it with both trebles in the mouth. I will be swapping for the single hooks so my old hands don’t get in harms way. Good video and spot on info. I’m fishing the Mosquito Lagoon area and doing well, even with the changing temps. Good Job Fellas!!
I've got 2 of these I got for 3 bucks each on clearance, but the colors arent great for general purpose. I really like them though, gonna get a couple of colors for more common conditions.
I really like this lure on the Texas middle coast flats, and like the single hooks. It is tremendous when there are glass minnows (swarms) and smaller finger mullet.
The rattle is a bit different and this tends to have a tighter side to side action. Be sure to follow us on Instagram! instagram.com/thesaltstrong/ Also check out our Insider Club where we share all of our fishing tips at www.saltstrong.com/pricing

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and techniques. At what depth are these lures suspending at?

Thank you for your feedback, John! Tight lines!
How does it compare to a similar lure like the catch 2000 for ex? Thank you.
