cool board but is funny to read at 1:46 "2 ft" with a wave behind you that was around 5-6 (but was the biggest set, other were smaller, anyway was pretty funny!)
@@WoolyTV wow lol :D anyway have a frame where the wave was pretty high then the wave go down fast to 2-3 feet that's true. Lucky people to have those small waves.. here in Italy would be a medium-good day :-P
Hi mate All my details are usually in the notes below the clip - Im 6'1"/187cm and around 87kg/192lb - 'normal' shortboards usually sit around 6'0"/6'1" and 33-34L. I think if I grabbed this board again I would go up to the 38.6L. I wanted to ride it in very small waves and I think it would have been even better with a touch more length/volume
Hi mate. Havent ridden a Seaside, only the Seaside and Beyond.Glazer was more of an 'all rounder' where as the Baked Potato is a full grovel machine. If I was going to try and get a one board quiver then I would choose the Glazer.
I know the boards look cool but keep in mind that the wooden surface and the lack of a proper layer of glass makes them a lot weaker than a regular epoxy board. I split mine just were I push off with my hand after just a few months of use. Also, forget expecting support from Firewire, they wouldn't even answer to my inquiry...
this is a great review. i like how you showed it different waves, and didn't just talk about it. this really cemented my decision to get one.
Glad it was helpful!
Mate I thought you rode this better than any others! You looked like you were having a ball and ripping! Keep up the good work. Awesome.
Hahaha, thanks mate. I had alot of fun on this board and when the conditions were not great this board was awesome.
Once again, great video. I love the new editing style. Very punchy and the music was 👍
Much appreciated!
Awesome vid mate. Can't wait for that Glazer review now!!!
Will be out late this week hopefully mate ✌🏼
Best review, so fun to watch. Now I go and buy the board.
Cheers mate
Wooly TV is the whole point of the Internet yew!

Great review wooly . after spending many years in your city I cant think of a better board to attack the trigg stretch with..
Yeah it will be a great summer Perth board!

Thanks
Great review! Any other recommendations for knee to waist or is this the ticket?
This one for sure but also have a look at the JS Flying Pony or Psycho Nitro
Nice 360’s Wooly!!!
Thanks. The Twice Baked was heaps of fun in the small stuff.

Yes we have a different way of calling waves in West Oz....... similar to Hawaii

Goes good in the slop lots of glide how’s the drive? Could balance it with fins I reckon
Yeah I think I could have ridden larger fins in this one but it was a lot of fun with the large Blackstix in it.
You said you should have got the next size up. What do you weigh and what do you normally ride in litres?
Hi mate

what would you rather ride? glazer, seaside or twice baked?
Hi mate.

Was the length of the board ok at 5’5? I am 6’1 also and considering this board in 5’5 but I am lighter at just 75kg
Hi mate
It does feel short but thats the type of board it is!
It’s medicinal.
Yewwwww
Now your selling but I would need a fare bit more foam than you. Old bones are so much heaver. Thank for the video.
No worries
Way less groveley than the original. And that’s saying something.
Yeah there have been some major (positive) improvements

Hey mate, so far have had no problems with the construction. I would try contacting them again as they should reply to all enquires.
Timbertek is one of the strongest boards around
I had similar problems with a baked potato. I’ve got a Sunova now. Much better tougher construction.
Theyre laminated / water sealed, aslong as the board is looked after ie fixing dings it stands up better than most board.
Unlucky, I've had a BP timber for 3+ years and not a mark on it. seems solid.
