There is an old expression "worth ones salt" which has its root in ancient Roman linguistics. Soldiers then were paid a 'Salarium' which was an allowance for the purchase of salt, and in fact the roman word for soldier literally translates to 'one who is paid in salt.' In those days salt was a rare and valuable commodity. Why? Naturally acquired Pink Himalayan salt is packed with 84 essential trace minerals and electrolytes and plays a valuable role in the regulation of myriad bodily processes. However, after the invention of artificially produced sodium chloride (table salt), the overuse and abundance of this type of salt - which is completely devoid of trace minerals - gave salt a bad name. In fact, after the invention and proliferation of this type of artificial salt, doctors started noticing health conditions among the population that were related to lack of mineral intake, so they decided to insert iodine back into this artificial salt. That is where we get 'iodized salt.' But even with the added iodine, table salt does not come anywhere near the mineral packed powerhouse that mother nature created.
When it comes to naturally acquired salt, there is no finer specimen than Pink Himalayan Salt. The pink color is actually indicative of the presence of valuable trace minerals, and the taste is unlike anything you would find in your local diner salt shaker. It hits the palate with a smoother flavor, the difference between a fine scotch and rubbing alcohol. Pink Himalayan Salt does not have that harsh, stinging bite which allows you to utilize it much more effectively as both a spice and to supplement food. There is perhaps no simpler way to get the 84 trace minerals valuable to the body that mother nature has produced than to include real pink himalayan salt in your diet. The salt deposits from which our Kosher Pink Himalayan Salt is mined are roughly 250 million years old, meaning they were deposited long before the earth became polluted with heavy metals, pesticides, or PCBs. While there is really no such thing as "organic" salt, this is probably the most pristine salt you'll find anywhere on the planet. Eating this salt is a lot like going back in time and consuming minerals from pre-industrial Earth. Once you try it, you will never go back.

Thank you for the information. I've been using pink Himalayan salt since I found out I had severe osteoporosis. My bone density was - 2.5 and I couldn't sneeze without collapsing a vertebra in my back. I've lost over 2 inches in my already pitiful height. Since switching to the Himalayan salt my bone density is back to normal. I'm a 61 year old woman. It's all I've done to bring back bone health. I started taking vitamin D3 just recently too. But my bones were already getting back to normal by then with simply adding pink Himalayan salt and getting rid of the table salt. I accidentally did something healthy for myself. Lol 🤣😂 I don't even get excercises because it's still very painful to walk do to the collapsed vertebrae, and diabetic neuropathy. So I really have to give the pink Himalayan salt the credit for building up the density in my old bones! Lol

For certain we need trace minerals, not just the main minerals like sodium and potassium. But how much of these trace minerals do we need, and is that quantity able to be gotten from pink salt? Also, the high trace mineral content implied raises the question of excess trace minerals. Then we have toxins like lead and mercury, which also come from the earth - have tests eliminated the presence of these from pink salt?

@@leilaahmed1908 I'm saying that there is the difference, but its so minor, that it would hardly make any effect. 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 a teaspoon, up to a full teaspoon in a day is all that’s needed. But if you’re sweating buckets throughout the day, then definitely more than that, like a
      1/2 teaspoon 4 times a day.
If you’re not sweating profusely all day everyday, like in the heat of the summer, then much less would be highly effective.
And the rule of thumb should always be, you never need any supplement to your body 7 days a week. A few days a week is the sweet spot for many of these helpers. In other words, your body should also have rest from anything you’re putting into it trying to help yourself. “Rest” from it is just as important as the taking of it. 🙂

🍒judgment that is not physically, mentally, and spiritually beneficial is useless therefore has no true value. Without judgment progress cannot be made. For no one can express or receive love or any other desired emotion in its entirety if the don't know themselves. We are all not created equal however we all have a equal obligation to living up to the pleasure, potential, and responsibility of femininity and masculinity. So do your best to become physically fit, mentally sound, and spiritually balanced being able to express physical freedom. Which can be accomplished through clean air, water, fitness, and high sources of nutrition organic and non-genetically modified would be best. Plus formal education or real hands-on experience. When one learns the body's capabilities and limitations by fully engaging with all their senses to their extreme limits in the most efficient way that is humanly possible. The subconscious then begins to naturally subconsciously systematically coincide with the mind-body souls spirit mother Earth and all the various different forms of life that live within this world and the most efficient way that is humanly possible. Thus yielding
the best spiritual kickback for one's efforts accomplishments experiences. You might want to take these points to heart
Considering the simple logic if life is not free, why the hell would death be any cheaper? It's not the question the common, basic, average, normal man or woman may be able to wonder is what is the spiritual cost to one's own soul and spirit for freely living dying off having only used the smallest percentage of a fraction of the true potential they are first born with. Not to add insult to injury for the last hundred and 50 years or so the mass majority of the population has been living and dying yielding the worst spiritual kickback that has ever been manifested since the beginning of life only getting worse. And that has nothing to do with everybodys so-called charming personality and everything to do with the standards of quality pertaining to our air, water, foods, landscapes, working/living environment, every day home products, habitats, and ecosystems. Which is ignorant beyond retarded (no offense to any disabled people.) When you consider for the last 490 years Give or take we have had the manpower woman influence or vice versa to have created clean high paying jobs from coast-to-coast globally that would improve upon and maintain the quality of our life in such a manner.
That the mass majority of the population from coast-to-coast globally would naturally, gradually, and systematically start becoming stronger, smarter, healthier, happier, better off physically, mentally, and financially possibly spiritually then the previous generation. Now I would like to resurrect the wish and prayer I made prior to my 8th birthday which was to be held spiritually accountable to the statements I proclaim to the way I'm living personally and professionally. I guarantee you never see or hear another body, man or woman in power, persons of legal, religious authority, or leaders ever freely validate the statements they proclaim with that level of certainty one reason they don't have the best interest of the majority of the population's needs at heart a another reason could be they cum from a bloodline of cowards or simply have a lifestyle that suggests, confirms, and validates them as being feebleminded physically inadequate submissive subservient which it doesn't get any worse than that. One is genetically inherited and the other is a simple generic learned behavior. Quite possible to be a combination of these worst-case scenarios nonetheless either way it is physically, mentally, and spiritually useless to freely live and die in such a low quality manner.
Especially if that ignorant stupidity, weak, lonely desperation stems from being soft, lazy, out of shape, over fed, undernourished, overworked, and underpaid with a dirty low-paying job that comes from outdated power sources, inferior materials, poisonous, toxic substances, pesticides, and chemicals that never change their killing composition. Which means simpletons whether it is a solid, liquid, or burnt off into our airways atmosphere as a vapor it is always going to be poisonous, debilitating, and deadly to the body at the same time polluting, corrupting, and devastating to mother Earth and all the various different forms of life that live within this world. There is no cash profit to be made in the demise of the planet. Thanks to those dirty low-paying jobs we are in the mist of environmental financial global collapse. The good news souls and spirits have paid out are picking up the tab on the end results of those dirty low-paying jobs. The even better news that the common, basic, average, normal man woman may be able to comprehend his souls and spirits have been are being managed, directed, maintained, and implemented with all the disease, sickness, illness, pain, suffering, injury, abuse, neglect, hunger, addiction, sadness, anger, and hyper- aggressive violence. That has been allowed to occur manifesting throughout the history of mankind into what it is today thanks to people like Donald Trump who have the false belief if the mass majority of the population is at their worst they will feel less afraid inferior to the true potentials of love, honor, and the creation of life. Here's the deal you're either part of the world solutions or exacerbating the planets problems there is no safe in between. Either way no matter how you look at it each and every moment of every life has been spiritually accounted for. S.R.F.

I don't know how MDs lose all sense of ethics to promote crap like this. You are exactly right of course. This is sea salt that was covered with lava many moons ago in the Punjab region of Pakistan. A reputable source estimates it to be 97% NaCl - salt... no matter where it comes from, and 3% various trace minerals. I've never read anything about 85. (including things like flouride which these natural types tell you to filter out of your water). However, this amount is so teeny that there would be no physiologic effect. So, to your body, physiologically, this is no different than table salt. As a native to the area states below, it might have a slightly different taste, but it does nothing magic, acts no differently, once inside you. The only significant effect it will have is lightening your wallet.

I use Himalayan salt as my everyday salt, but I find this presentation to be lacking. First, the mineral content in pink Himalayan salt is likely too little to make a difference in your health. For example, the mineral content is so low that one would have to consume 3.7 pounds (1.7 kg) of pink Himalayan salt to obtain the recommended daily amount of potassium. Second there are no studies, to my knowledge, that demonstrate significant health benefits of Himalayan salt over regular salt. Third, if sodium from regular salt is a risk, then there is likely a corresponding risk with Himalayan salt. Himalayan salt, like regular salt, is 98% sodium chloride. Until there is some good science, don't believe the hype.

So.. your a psychiatrist posing as a dietitian... Maybe I should ask my doctor why my check engine light is on... Salt is salt. Any thing to make a buck for your companies no matter what the cost on health. Sodium, no matter what source it comes from will increase blood pressure. No matter what the colour or where it came from. Also the pollution in the air is at much higher concentrations then you could ever get from a little sprinkle of table salt. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Talk to a Registered Dietitian who has spent years studying nutrition and the effects on human physiology.

(F=)- you want your eyes, hair and nails lips bear skin body to look and function it's best then you do so through high sources of nutrition organic GMO free would be best and formal education real hands-on experience fitness clean water equal to spring or better. Not with makeup beauty supplies cosmetics that are made to the lowest standards of quality. For if your products are not organic biodegradable mate to the highest standards of quality. Then when they leach into the skin pores getting absorbed into the bloodstream they overwork the right and left kidney, liver stressing out all the body's organs disrupting hindering the body's natural ability to adjust adapt, respond, and recover to any and all situation in the most efficient way that is humanly possible. This lack of comprehension conscious physical participation is why top scientists leading physicians specialist, have determined unanimously concluded that American women are far more likely to develop thyroid problems and the various other complications that are associated with this type of man-made illness. Versus European women. Not because of everybody's charming personality due to the fact, the Europeans have a standard of quality set in place that allows their products to be made mass-produced and distributed in a way that improves upon the body's overall functionality instead of disrupting it. For femininity at its finest, is raw, wild, naturally hard-core, organically appealing, truly captivating, absolutely appreciate it, respect it and it is desired! Spiritually sought after internally externally for all eternity throughout existence by all the gods goddesses angels of the ancient Royal elite warrior guardian soldier bodyguard protector messenger dominant gentleman superior father.. Talk about love and don't even know yourself from the inside out. Equally as sickening if not more extremely useless if 1 billion women are using supporting wearing this poisonous toxic sludge better known as makeup beauty supplies cosmetics bug spray perfume! On a daily basis how many millions of tons, do we have to manufacture mass produce to meet that supply and demand? As you know we don't use 100% of anything especially here in America! So where does all that excess poisonous, toxic waste, sludge bug spray perfume end up? In our rivers, lakes, streams, oceans, and various other bodies of water burnt off into our airways as a poisonous vapor back down onto our landscapes. You can not promote love!!!! By using supporting substances resources materials that are outdated inferior, scientifically classified religiously verified as petrified death! or worse Case closed. The goal is to live up to the pleasure, potential, and responsibility of femininity and masculinity. The key is knowing yourself by becoming physically fit ,mentally sound, and spiritually balanced being able to express physical freedom For no one can express or receive love or any other desired emotion in its entirety if the do not know themselves. Now I wish and pray for my soul and spirit too be held spiritually accountable to the statements I proclaim I guarantee, you never hear or see another body man or woman in power persons of legal religious authority leaders ever freely validate the statements they proclaim with that level of certainty! One reason they don't naturally have the best interest of the majority of the populations needs at HEART another reason could be, they CUM from a breed of cowards, combined with a life style that suggest, confirms, and validates them as being feebleminded physically inadequate submissive subservient, it doesn't get any worse than that. One is genetic hereditary the other is a generic learned behavior quite possible to be a combination of those worst-case scenarios either way, no matter how you look at it is physically mentally spiritually useless to live and die and that self neglected low quality manner. Especially if that lonely desperation stems from being soft, lazy, out of shape, over fed, undernourished, overworked, and underpaid with a dirty low-paying job. That come from outdated power sources, inferior materials, poisonous, toxic substances, pesticides, and chemicals that never change their killing composition which means simpletons whether it is a solid liquid burnt off into our airways atmosphere as a vapor is always going to be poisonous debilitating deadly within the body at the same time polluting, corrupting, and devastating to mother Earth and all the various different forms of life that live with him this world. I might add there is no cash profit to be made in the demise of the planet Earth. Primarily due to those dirty low-paying jobs we are in the mist of environmental financial global collapse. Even worse for the last hundred and 50 years or so the mass majority of the population from coast to coast globally more so here in America have been living dying yielding the worst spiritual kickback that has ever been manifested since the beginning of life only getting worse. Which is reckless and negligent ignorant beyond retarded at best (no offense to any disabled people.) Considering for the last 490 years give or take we have had the manpower woman influence to have created clean high paying jobs from coast to coast globally that come from advanced power sources that are self sustainable renewable New Age high-quality materials resources substances that are stronger lighter easier to work with more versatile abundant as a added bonus you can use them as much as you would like or need without leaving any excess poisonous toxic waste behind. Love promotes, encourages, and rewards progress. Not the declined diminished quality of life. S.R.F. not to mention each body has over 60,000 miles of area that blood can travel through with in it 60,000 miles is enough distance to circumference the world twice. So what is beautiful attractive, desirable, welcoming, alluring, appealing, captivating physically, mentally, and spiritually beneficial about poisoning corrupting damaging one's own blood Highway around the world. You might want to take that point to heart.
Due to the simple logic if life is not free why the hell would death be any cheaper is not I promise. The question the common, basic, average, normal person may be able to wonder is what is the spiritual cost to one's own soul and spirit when they live and die at their worst versus living dying at their best. So do you have the heart, faith, and belief within yourself to make the necessary adjustments to sort through weaning out the weak. Reducing our problems making them diminish with the possibility of them ceasing to exist. Anything less is feebleminded physically inadequate submissive subservient which translates into sexual failure eventually manifesting into one being recognized spiritually as sexually suppressed internally externally for all eternity throughout existence no matter where your soul and spirit ends up such truths cannot be avoided overlooked empty crocodile tears are not changing these facts protecting carrying compensating any whimpering wining souls or spirits that are freely connected to a life that is not doing its best to improve upon maintaining the quality of it case closed the end.xs

No, the additives you get in the table salt negate any good from added iodine. You can get iodine from other sources, such as kelp, seafood or in pill form. Iodine is needed by our thyroid, along with selenium for optimum health. Yes, it is more expensive, but well worth it. I switched over several years ago and am so glad I did.
