In this video, we’re going to talk about the first symptom of a salt deficiency. The first symptom of sodium deficiency is feeling weak or tired.
Fun facts: Salad in Latin means salted greens. Salary in Latin means salt.
You should never consume refined salt. Instead, have organic sea salt. Refined salt only contains sodium chloride-it doesn’t contain the other vital minerals.
One role of sodium in the body is to create hydrochloric acid (HCL) to help digest protein, break down minerals, and kill off pathogens. Many people are low in HCL because they don’t consume enough salt.
The average person needs a minimum of 1 tsp. of sea salt per day. If you exercise or do keto, you will need more than this.
Low sodium diets that have you drinking lots of water can dilute the salt and flush it from your body, leaving you deficient in sodium. Additionally, a high-carb diet can cause you to retain sodium in the wrong places.
If you notice that you feel weak or tired, try increasing your sodium and see if the problems go away.
An electrolyte powder can help replenish your sodium and other electrolytes.
Sodium is crucial for normal energy levels because it…
    • Excites the cardiac muscle
    • Regulates calcium
    • Is involved in the sodium-potassium pump
    • Is vital to creating energy in the mitochondria
One last fun fact-sea water is virtually identical to the watery portion of your blood!
In summary, make sure you have enough sodium in your diet by having at least one teaspoon of organic sea salt a day to support healthy energy levels and other low-sodium symptoms.

I just recently spent 6 weeks feeling so fatigued, rundown and just overall felt horrible. After 4 weeks I finally went to the doctor. She examined me and said "it's just allergies. Pick your favorite allergy medicine and ride it out." I explained to her that I have had allergy and sinus issues since I was young and have never felt like that before due to allergies. I continued to feel horrible and one night I was watching UA-cam and ran across a video similar to this that had the majority of my symptoms listed. Low salt. I started using salt and have felt completely new compared to how I had felt for the previous 6 weeks. I'm about to lose hope in doctors.

True like wine not pasteurized is the blood of Christ with the probiotic dormant but still alive. The ballence of wine probiotic is against the alcohol content by persentage naturally. When alcohol content is tampered with and wine not pasteurized it turns into vinigar.
Your body perduced a pint of spirit alcohol to 2 pints of spirit alcohol a day to ballence against the lrobiotics in your blood. And this is what Jesus said is life in you by comminunion.
But when you destroy that by pasteurization of all wine and beer in the United States it's dead, dead wine no life in it..!
Same thing with milk.. if the morons could just understand pasteurize it to keep it on the Shelf put the acidophilus back in it before drinking. And do that somehow with the opening of a carton of milk or a bottle of milk or a bottle of wine or a can of beer or a bottle of beer. The person that figures this out and markets it will be the next billionaire in the health field..!
SO WHAT DOES THE alcohol besides balance the probiotic dormant..?
I ask God this question and he told me. " The alcohol is it Delivery Agent of the dormant probiotics two critical organs, upon breathing the alcohol off to the lungs those dormant probiotics come to live in critical organs and heal them"

If God uses salt as an analogy (favorably), why have we vilified it so much? At different times, I have studied biblical eating. I think some of those ideas have a lot of merit. On topic, God compares His followers to the savory ness of salt, and if we have lost that savor, we are no longer a good witness for Him. We would be bland and tasteless. We need salt.

Since changing my diet 5yrs ago, primarily because I knew something was wrong and drs were throwing my complaints into the “FIBRO MYALGIA” bag. Age eighty, 2016, rid my house of all preservative, even condiment foods😳No flours, junk, fast foods, snacks, sodas, basically, ate clean. I DID salt everything...however, as Doc mentioned, I was no longer getting the extras salts from prepackaged food. Ate huge veggie salads, some raw and others sautéed. Accidentally lost 45 lbs with out trying.(LOL)
Forward to June 2021.......my body feels drained, super fatigued! Pushing my self to just prepare a meal.
This am ended a 36 hr. fast which was intended to give my gut a rest, hoping that might cure this malaise.
Didn’t work! This am, 7/12, tried to make lemon water and was so exhausted after squeezing lemon, I had to lie down,
Popped on TV and there was my favorite Dr. telling me “You’re salt deficient...that’s why you’re so fatigued!” Bless my good Doctor, You...are the Salt of The Earth!😋

I noticed almost immediately a huge difference in my alertness and tiredness. The lady in the store advised that if I put a half tea spoon twice a day under my tongue and allow it to dissipate in its own time then my body will receive the maximum benefits of the salt. It has proven to be of immense benefit. 👍

So my body was telling me "salt Jenn" for like 3 days, so I decided to look it up and found your video. After watching it, I've been drinking about 8oz glass of lemon water with sea salt 2x/day now. It's been 5 days, but I literally feel the difference. No more weakness!!! It was busy at work last night and I worked 7 hours straight, no break!! Usually I would "need" to eat or have water, anything to try to feel stronger, and not like I'm gonna pass out. This has literally changed my life so far and I can't be any more grateful!! Thank you!!! ❤

You are describing my mother... Poor dear didn't make the century because she believed in "God the Doctor". COPD, diabetes...
Low sodium diet, restricted liquids, meds and more meds and insulin shots (which might have been avoided if the nursing home had offered a low carb diet instead of one centered around starch based proteins and unlimited sugar access). She craved salt and denied it. I found out why.
I took her out to lunch (so to speak) one Mother's Day. She chose the restaurant and ordered a "fish fillet" sandwich with fries (didn't finish either) and a soda. Loved it! By the time we got back to the nursing home her ankles had swollen to the point that when she bumped on on the edge of her bed the skin split and oozed clear fluid.
It was a slow spiral downhill from there. I could see the imbalance in her system was not going to be addressed. That low salt diet had been ongoing since I was an adolescent and she had high blood pressure. She took the diuretics and avoided salt, lived on that damned low protein diet (to protect her kidneys!) and spent the last years of her life being wheeled about in a wheelchair, too weak to walk.
I am working overtime to make sure this is not going to happen to me.
Thanks for the thumbs up on Salt. I've always salted heavily and don't mind supplementing with potassium to balance it.

Table salt and sea salt metabolize differently in the body. In nature, salt exists with a combination of other trace minerals which changes the way your body processes it. You can likely be more generous with se salt for this reason. Minerals conduct electricity through our nerves of the body to help us feel energized. Try using pink Himalayan salt without any additives. Read the ingredients and make sure there are no extra ingredients. Celtic Sea Salt is also good. The flavor is slightly different. Whatever sea salt you choose, make sure it has no other additives.

Yes I’ve passed out/blacked out periodically due to needing more salt. I just need to add more to my diet when I feel dizzy or foggy. That’s my first sign. I had a tilt table test to verify.

I grew up craving salt and eating it on half of a lemon. I don't crave sugar, in fact I get physically ill if I eat something super sweet. I also believe my craving for salt was also for the iodine they added to it.

Thanks Doc, love your content. I ended up in the hospital with severe muscle contractions. Blood test indicated that not only was my sodium level too low I was also dehydrated. Water is my favorite drink and I consume copious amounts but now I use Himalayan salt on my food.
