@@smileyone1612 I have no idea what they mean by pebbles and sand. The salt deposits are analyzed before crushing, grinding, and packaging. It comes in fine salt, kosher grind, coarse grind, powder salt, and salt crystals. They all contain naturally occurring minerals. If using the coarse grind, minerals will be more evident, because of the larger grind. However, the presence of pebbles and sand is preposterous. I've been using their "fine salt" (like you'd find on any table) forever. It is delicious - no pebbles or sand. I've given it as gifts for years. They welcome questions, by the way, and are always helpful.

If you live in Europe, go with Celtic Sea Salt, which is mined from the oceans off the coast of France. If you live in Asia, go with Himalayan Pink Salt, which is mined from several ancient salt beds in Pakistan. If you live in the USA, go with Redmond's. It is from a SINGLE source in the USA by a REPUTABLE company. If you are wondering about Kosher vs Regular Redmond's, that just refers to the size of the grain. The Kosher is a larger grain size and better for meats and overnight tenderizing. The regular is the size of table salt. They are all the same salt, just ground to different sizes. Amazon has a 2 shaker pack of Redmond's. One is Kosher, the other is regular. I recommend getting that. Then later you can get a refill package.

It isn't the salt it is the sugar.
      Carbohydrates=carbon.
      Carbon resists electrical current.
Salt is a mineral that facilitates electrical current.
The body will hold on to more salt to help overcome carbon resistance.
Because we are bodies run by electrical impulses especially the heart.
Without adequate salt your heart's electric impulses are messed up.
Cut the carbs for heart issues and your body won't have excess salt and the heart will have improved electrical impulses.

When in my 20s-40s I was running 5-10 km 3 X weekly in the Texas heat, but stopped when I collapsed at work one day in my 40s. Thought I was having a heart attack. ER tests showed cause was dangerously low blood sodium levels, around 117 I believe. My new family doctor then told me to start salting my food (and stop running in hot weather.) Was healthy otherwise. Subsequent tests never determined the cause of the chronic hyponatremia, but my sodium levels rose to the normal range after I started adding salt to my diet. Still on the low end of normal each annual blood test, around 132, but better than the prior subnormal, dangerously low average of 126-128 many years ago.

Man says they are “ impurities “ that’s because man is NOT God and really doesn’t understand the human body nor it’s needs! They think they do, but look at history “ this or that is the worst thing for you” then a few years later “ it’s wonderful to eat” they do not know what they are doing , follow the money! Eat as close to how God made it then you will do well.

Pretty much everything natural has aluminum in it. Taking aluminum orally is different than injecting it. I’ve tested all three unrefined salts Redmond Celtic brand Salinas and Himalayan salt. Selina’s Celtic salt came up with the best mineral content and the least metals- grocery store refined solved, has aluminum in the form of aluminum silicate. It also has ferris cyanide a few other lovely things. All and all unrefined Salt is a much much better choice.

@@TheBiblicalNutritionist Apparently every salt available contains some traces of bad stuff. The numbers I mentioned came from a study linked by Redmond. I suspect the grocery store cheap stuff has a lot less bad than any unprocessed product. "Processed" is clearly bad when it applies to food and oil. It's totally different thing when applied to minerals.

Just bought some Celtic sea salt.
I always bought granular sea salt or rock salt from the super market. Thought it much better than table salt.
This Celtic salt is amazing the taste is so different the feel the look so different. 🎉😊
Unfortunately I have to get it on line. While I can I will order it.

If you have a local Fresh Thyme or health food store in your area ask the manager if they can start ordering it in. I ask at my Fresh Thyme and within a week they were stocking the Redmond real salt. I have not asked them about the Celtic salt yet as I found it at a local health food store.

This video has been an eye 👀 opener also the Bible did say that we are the salt of the earth and if the salt has lost its savor WOW here I was trying to eat a less salt as possible when in actuality I probably should have been eating a little bit more of salt daily, I'll tell you we learn something new everyday I even heard doctor Barbara O'Neill speak about taking just a grain of salt before drinking Each glass of water 💦 confirmed
    Thank you so much

Best flavored salt in my opinion. Carnivore here who eats a lot of salt. Baja gold is my favorite, but for convenience, I use Redmond’s fine ground which can be used in a convenient shaker. Baja Gold is more coarse and if I don’t grind it up we’ll with a mortar and pestle, it feels like I might chip a tooth. It feels like very small pebbles that are very hard. The mineral content is also very impressive for Baja Gold.

My question is of the salt brands recommended have they been tested for heavy metals like lead, mercury, aluminum, cadmium etc, because lots of them have these heavy metals over set limits and Redmond and Celtic are ones that apparently don't pass.

Great episode… I use Redmonds real salt… I really like it. Annette Reeder, have you ever done a video on Tourette’s? What is really the cause and is there any foods that truly help minimize it. This Holistic Doctor is wonderful, I’m actually looking into one for Tourette’s, but more so to see what’s going on. I do pray, every day, and I truly know God can heal me, been praying for years, have others praying, and still I go through this. It’s been a struggle since the age of 13/14 years of age and I’m now 62. So I want to find answers, I pray God leads me to them.

Lucky me lives 20 miles from the Redmond Real Salt mine. It is located in South Central Utah about 20 miles north of Richfield Utah. They do give tours of the mine to the public however you need to make an appointment as the tours are not on a schedule. It is amazing and the people who work there are so nice. They have a small store where you can buy their products.

Annette, and Dr. Bownstein, This video is an answer to prayer. Praise the Lord!! This is one of the puzzle pieces that has been missing. I checked the last labs, and BOOM, the salt is low, as ordered..and the BP is still not ideal. Better, but not ideal. Time to finally add some flavor BACK to our food. I have been using Redmond's for a long time, but a pinch here, and a pinch there. YES- the food can finally taste good-again.
