  • The M2 is a very special M series car, built in low volumes, it's light weight and extremely nippy !
    Never before have we heard of a stolen BMW M2 being successfully recovered. These specialist high performance cars are stolen to order by professional organised criminals.
    On the 16 May 2018 Bandits captured the customer keycode whilst he was sleeping and then simply drove off. The standard fit BMW tracker had been removed in minutes as a police officer delivered it back to the owner along with other vehicle contents. This gear was found close to the theft location on the side of the road.
    With no GPS signals to track Automatrics attempt to successfully track down the car down using GSM and RF location techniques.
    An Automatrics radio signal finder is deployed from Southampton to Solihull Birmingham to meet up with four police pursuit vehicles.
    Watch to find if the Automatrics MTrack GPS, GSM and RF theft recovery tracking system and four armed police response units can fight back against organised crime.

      Anything can get stolen if you are determined enough. Cars that are stolen to order will get stolen no matter what even if it means car jacking you and sticking you in the trunk and just tying you up and leaving you somewhere.

      If the manufacturer wants to put a sophisticated alarm system in the car, there needs to be a guide book for the authorised service centre so they know how to repair it. No matter how complicated, it will be described here. Needless to say, these guides do disappear sometimes ...

    The whole insurance claim thing is just unfair when a vehicle gets stolen. Why should the owner suffer on their own insurance for someone else's fuckeries?

    • @Chris675R
      @Chris675R 4 роки тому +12

      This is outrageous and shouldn't be the case, since it's not your fault.
      I'm glad that it works different here in Germany. If your car gets stolen, your insurance will pay the value of the car and it won't go up if you make a claim. Also you get new car price compensation for up to two years. So even your car has 20k miles on it and it's 1,5 years old, you still get the sticker price back from your insurance.

    • @AutomatricsMtrack
      @AutomatricsMtrack  6 років тому +153

      Professional criminals we don't believe joyride, more they are paid to do a covert job.
      The customer wanted to avoid 5 years damage on his insurance profile and the DVLA depreciation caused by stolen status. The plan was for BMW to rebuild the car for him as good as new as all the parts were recovered at this site. We were even going to film the presentation of the car at the end of the video. But the recovery company lost some parts, a real travesty, and stress overload for the owner, who in the end decided to claim on his insurance.
      However, the claim loss value was significantly reduced by the proceeds from selling recovered parts. The more you can reduce a theft claim on your insurance the less resulting damage penalty you will receive in the future.

      People are made to be loved and things are made to be used. "♥"
      The confusion in this world is that people are used and things are loved !
      The saddest part is that 97% of people do not know the difference between
      loving someone and being in love, and most people; anyone who treats them
      with kindness, they view as suspicious. It is a sad world we live in.

    If you have a keyless car, I would highly recommend using a faraday bag to block the signal given from the key. This then prevents the relay method of theft. Additionally, it’s best to use physical methods such as a steering lock or a wheel lock. These methods will prevent a thief, but if someone strongly wants your car; they’ll go through extreme lengths to have it.

Drive to another place strip the car down. This time they were lucky only found one tracker to remove but not the main one. And as we heard they was tracking a AMG BENZ and lost it due to the tracker being removed. It’s best to learn how to Install stuff your self to be honest. We certainly helped West Midlands police with an important part in their puzzle. The fact the BMW standard tracker was found and presented to the owner raises questions. Like why would any car manufacturer source just one supplier for covert theft recovery security technology, when the partnering process itself deems the system to be known, and thus, to no longer be covert. For this reason alone, we would always recommend to avoid standard fit OEM trackers completely.

      Sparkhill is very bad for car theft for sure and also fraudlant Insurance crash scam , no dealt fueling additional premiums of at least 30% to any Birmingham/Solihull post code insurance policy. So x 1 million insurance premiums 30% that is the true figure of the cost of car theft, stripping parts to transfer on to a Category damaged vehicle. Say £200 x 1 million = £200,000,000. (quater of a billion) It really should be high on the polices priority list. It's also a good deal for the insurance companies, I'm not suprised they recirculate these damaged vehicles it's all a big con on the face of it. The easy option is for the govenrment to ban write off vehicles to be sold on, instead sell on to a legitmate strpping yard so the parts can find an honest home. And for the theif taking these cars what ever you may think of yourself you are primarily a theif which belongs on the lowest spectrum of life which makes you no better then a sewer rat .Also any landlords supplying a unit that lets these criminals operate should be fined as they are also profiting from this crime unless they can prove otherwise.
