Watching this during Ramadhan on purpose. 10/10 Makes me feel full.
Love the culture and beauty of Japan...but honestly the food is the number 1 reason why I want to visit so damn bad
~ Being Japanese myself, I have always loved the packaging of “Made in Japan” products. It’s awesome that you mentioned & are appreciative of it, as well. ⛩ Making a visit to Japan, is the top of my bucket list.
Wow wendi yes 👍 u speak very good English for a japanese person, must have taken u ages to learn, unless u just translateed it using a website,
Dont forget to have kids! Japan is super ageing population! Made in japan will suffer in future
The bottle juices are also nice, the ramen 🤤🤤 , here’s a video as well ua-cam.com/video/pj3X352W9oc/v-deo.html

Please include the names of the restaurants on your videos, it would help a lot. Thanks for the upload!
Came to say the same thing!
食べ方といい、箸の使い方といい、日本人のようでめっちゃ上手い👍
日本人でも苦手な人がいるような食材でも、美味しいって言って食べてて凄い。自分は、マグロといくらが苦手だから羨ましいw
Thank you for a very nice video about 31 street foods from all over Japan👍
Japan is definitely the place to be for food!
Agreed!
If and when they ever reopen. Don’t hold your breath.
It is correctly.

The 2nd one about Mochi is not KYOTO but NARA. I’m happy to see you enjoying Japanese food.I’m from Osaka Japan.

I was born in Kobe & lived in Osaka ~ lives in LA now. So I have to say Osaka & Kobe has the best food in Japan !! Hokkaido is pretty good too 🤗 Those yummy foods are my favorite 😋 looks amazing 💓 Thanks Luke 🙏
神戸いいなぁ〜関西に生まれたかった
I don’t think so. Especially if it’s finger foods or something... Hope you can go there and try all kinds of goodies soon !
I don't think I'll ever get tired of this series. It's fascinating watching people do what they love and do it well, but the people themselves are also always interesting and keep me coming back. Well done Luke! 👍👍👍

Cannot wait to go to Japan. I’m in love with it.
Me too!
@@LukeMartin how did you get in to Japan, I thought they aren't open yet
I remember going to the outdoor parking lot Izakaya in Osaka based on your video and I showed your video to the chef who cooks with his bare hand the tuna cheeks and he said "oh yea, handsome boy" haha. I only found that spot because of you, but now he's pretty famous because of the Netflix special.
That’s amazing! We were there before netflix. Hope toyosan is doing well
@@LukeMartin mm
Oh man you are really trying the real street food in Japan!’ Have gotta try the scallops sooner or later!!
Fugu is something I would never taste! It scares me but I have so much respect for someone who eat it.
Nice video... But people should stop supporting Parrotfish fishing. These helpful fish clean corals of algae which is good for the reefs and therefore ocean life in general. Please look it up if you have doubts.
Defo what's wrong with these people
Hahahaha. LMAO
中国みたいに乱獲してないけどね
Don’t eat parrotfish then
I'll come back when I find who asked
I got to try those savory pancakes, mine had squid, I think shrimp and another meat I can't remember. Very memorable first meal in Tokyo for me 🕊️
I wish you would try the various sashimi first without the sauces and wasabi. While they are great accompaniments and served with it for a reason, I really implore you to try them plain for the first few bites.
Beautiful view and looking delicious 😋
Mugwort. A nutritious, bitter, herby tasting weed used to flavor all kinds of mochi, soups etc. Used all across Asia for its health benefits, some even brew it into tea. You can stick a leaf into the ground and it’ll grow wild.
This was so fun to watch!
Thank you Luke for the tour of the culinary delights of Japan, all the food looks delicious.🥇🥇
Hope you enjoyed it!

@@mollysmart7468 this is all old footage because Japan hasn't allowed any tourists to visit for over 2 years now, since the beginning of the pandemic.

Luke I enjoyed this video it showed so many of my favorites.Kobe the ramen 🍜 and the eel put a smile 😃 on my face.then when you showed the eel butter 🧈 I was floored. Never had I heard of that especially since I live in NYC.that was truly amazing 🤩 thank you for showing all the goodies in Japan 🇯🇵 have a blessed day.

The spam, egg and rice looks a lot like Hawaiian musubi. The savory pancake looks delicious. I love to eat eel and you usually can't go wrong with Roman.
spam musubi or "Hawaiian" musubi was actually invented by a Japanese immigrant in Hawaii, it was inspired by Japanese sushi. So even though spam musubi is often regarded as "hawaiian" food, it was actually invented by a Japanese person and influenced by Japanese cuisine, actually many foods in Hawaiian cuisine were inspired by Japanese cuisine because many of them were either invented or brought to Hawaii by Japanese immigrants. Hawaii has a very large population of ethnic Japanese people.
@@iamlinda100 I just came across this video and have to admit, this line of yours left me puzzled. "it was inspired by Japanese sushi."
I'd interject that Spam Musubi was just an immigrant adaptation of Musubi, also known as onigiri(not to be confused with onigirizushi), which are rice balls w/nori and a filling.
They've been eatin in Japan since at least the 11th century.
They are not sushi.
🤨
I love the second street food with matching voice effects. Lol
I really enjoy watching you you go into detail and always have a beautiful smile on your face and you have a wonderful personality❤👍
Great video, when I lived in Okinawa one of my favorite street foods was Yakisoba.

#20 ODEN shop is my favorite one!!
They calculate the total price so fast even if you got tons of ODEN haha.
So open to try new foods. Great episode.🙏🏼
The two blokes making mochi must have sore throats at the end of every day! Mugwort mochi is always nice with tsubuan!
Would love to try that marinated daikon!
The best Japanese food video I've ever seen! Just let you know the Mochi place is not Kyoto. That is very famous Mochi shop in "Nara" where is famous for temples and so many deers!
Oh wow yes you're right that is an error
