Hey guys, a company named Cardot sent me down a pretty feature-packed car alarm system for me to install in my car. How could I refuse right? 😅 In this video, I show you guys the features, what's in the box, and install guide.
It has quite a few features which are too much to put in this description box, but basically the main features are Passive Keyless Entry, Remote Engine Startup and Shutdown, Smart Start/Stop button, an app to control your car, GPS tracking, and an optional touch passcode key entry function incase you lose your keys.

This is actually very nice module. The video is now over a year old. Have you had any problems with it so far? Also, can you choose which modules to not use, with a setting or by just not connecting something? I dont want my car to unlock when im close to it, as it is parked right outside my apartment. Also, nice Mitsu! I got a Mitsubishi Galant from 1991, and I love it. This video just earned you my subscription!
Hi there, great video. Do you know if the GPS module has any outputs? I'm basically after a GPS tracking module with remote start capability over 4G/LTE, such as the Viper SmartStart/Vipertraq etc. I already have a Compustar DC3 remote start module with long-range 2-way remote, but I am just wanting to add on a 4g GPS module that will communicate with my remote start unit so that I can control/immobilise my car over the web. Awsome video!!! I have questions about the system features.
1. Does it have a feature to open and close the windows by the remote or phone.
2. Open or close the sunroof by remote or phone
3. Fold the mirrors by the phone or remote.
All get all those thing happen at the same time when car is locked ( alarmed)

As far as I know, it does have a feature to close the windows when it's locked. Not sure about the others.

Hey I just installed the CARDOT system in my car and everything works great except for when I go to start it (with push button or remote start) it would crank but not long enough to start. Is there a way to make the crank time longer? Please help cuz it's frustrating, now I have to plug back ignition and start with key.

Hey can u make a video installation video of push start useing a 5 prong relay part. I got a 2004 toyota celica and i confused on a certain part. Its the cut the ignition 1 wire and putting them on to different prongs or look up the 2004 toyota diagram and tell me what u think. Please im dieing here lol

Hello! I saw in comments to CarDot that you were asking about a gps. Did you operate a system from them? I also bought a 4g system from 2020 and I can't synchronize the phone with the gps system and it doesn't have a signal. the blue LED flashes quickly continuously. Do you think you can help me make the connection between the phone and the system? Thanks Andy

Thank you! Ummm it depends on what type of system you have... Negative trigger, positive trigger, etc. In my case, I'm not sure if it'll work... I just tied it off cuz that's what the instruction manual said 😉

Chuck Brown you need sim in GPS module for the app to work and for GPS. You can use the car without the GPS module. Service fee depends on what your mobile network provider charges.

hey bro...thanks once again for the kind words! Me personally, I'm an Amazon junkie lol. To answer your question, yes I had to remove the old system and wire this one up. The good thing about the process though, is the fact that most of the wires needed are the same, so it's literally just a swap over :-D .

Informative video. Didn't see fuel cut-off as part of the features of this device, like most GPS vehicle trackers have. Is it an omission, or the device actually does not have that feature? Thank you in advance for your reply!
Hi,
It is actually an omission; so it is not a feature that is included with the device. The only thing I know that relates to it is the fuel signal wire, which I assume detects whether fuel is being sent to the fuel rails or not (which has to do with starting the engine).

Yep... You can shut it down with the app from wherever you are. You can also see a history of when the car was started as well as other situations.

Im having problem with the smart button it takes more then a sec to start and when it does you could hear the starter still starting the car when its on, i looked all over the web about programing the controls cause sometimes the remote wont start the car either any help will be gladly appreciated.

Hey, nice video. Quick question, is there any reason you're manually splicing and taping the ignition harness wires instead of using splice connectors?
No reason whatsoever... I just didn't have splice connectors at the time lol
splice connectors are so bad, it can rust most of time, you cut the cable with chance that you got some of the wires in the cable not working so a higher resistance, so it can burn

Hey do u have to pay a monthly fee, I had one years ago thru viper called smart start and it had to be installed by a dealer and it was a monthly fee🥺
The only monthly fee is a data plan for the sim card in the GPS unit 😊

Hey bud...in my case, I connected the Ignition Wires from the Alarm System to either of my ignition wires from the car.
The power window does not need to be connected. I did not connect mine.

Hey bro...just connect the blue "oil path" wire to the 12v constant wire, or the wire which receives 12v when the fuel pump is running.

Actually..with this system, you can turn on your car from anywhere in the world, once you have internet, and once the GPS module sim is active.

Your accessory wire from your car shouldn’t be connected to the ON wire from the start stop button kit. It should be connected to ACC wire from start stop button kit. Please check and let me know 🙂

I want to keep alarm system, keyless entry as it is.
I have lexus ls430, and I only need long range start/stop feature because I stay long time offshore and keeps my car covered in the terminal.
Unfortunately start/stop is tied to your existing alarm system (since the key fob needs to be programmed to use that feature). Unless your existing alarm system has remote start, it's not possible.
