Hey guys, today I'll be showing y'all how to install a pretty awesome PKE car alarm system with start stop button, that I found on Amazon! It has quite a few features which are too much to put in this description box, but basically the main features are Passive Keyless Entry, Remote Engine Startup and Shutdown, Smart Start/Stop button, and an optional touch passcode key entry function incase you lose your keys.

I just install all same steps as you did, but when i start the engine it comes on but soon it will shut down
Tsuyoshi Mochizuki hey bud... Sounds like you have an immobilizer chip in your key. This means you're going to need an immobilizer bypass module (check the description for the vehicle wiring diagram website to find out if your car needs a specific bypass module, or can use a universal one; which is also in the description). By the way, the instructions come with it once you buy it lol, but I'll still give a quick breakdown. Once done, the process is very simple; just get a spare key made for your car (just the metal portion, not the fob/clicker), put it in the ignition and turn to ON position (to disable steering lock) , then take your original key with fob/clicker (or original spare) with the chip in it, and place it in the immobilizer bypass module kit. That kit will also come with a coil wire which you will pass around the ignition lock cylinder. And that's pretty much it I believe (forgive me if I missed out anything, as I pulled this from my head lol). Basically your car is looking for that chip in the key (to verify ownership) which is only detected it is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder; once that is verified, then it will start the engine and keep it running like normal; so what the immobilizer bypass module does, is that it makes an "extension" of that signal if you will. Hopefully this helps! Let me know.
so this means i need to buy this immobilizer bypass module kit ? , am I right ?,
and yeah for addition, i did the method 2 in EC002 that says that remove the immobilizer chip from the original key and stick it with the key ignition. I did that thing and it started but the problem it shut down immediately, but when i remove the immobilizer chip from the key ignition it doesn't start
Tsuyoshi Mochizuki yep you'll need the immobilizer bypass module. Sometimes the chip trick that you're talking about will work... But depends on the car.
The Auto DIY Guy i tried going the key at the ACC and pushed the button and it work normally, but when i tried to shut it off with push button it didn’t shut off instead it will ignite one more time,
Tsuyoshi Mochizuki did you disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the ignition lock cylinder, and wire it up to the PKE kit?

Hi, thanks for your video for the PKE install. It is very clear and easy to follow. I have a Toyota IQ3 with factory push button start and keyless entry. It is a manual transmission and I have to press the clutch to start it. I want to install a PKE system with remote start. Is this possible as I don't have a traditional ignition key system? How do I get round this?

Wired everything up, but the horn doesn’t wired it from the PKE module to my factory horn wire. I’m assuming that it’s the (alarm siren) that goes to the horn

When i put the two black wire grounds and the push start lights up but then turns off what could be the problem and also i couldnt find a acc when i turn the key it only unlocks the steering wheel

hey i cant find a acc 12 v wire on my d250 1990 dodge cummins
hey, I did the install. for my car unlock it required a 1k ohm resistor. it puts a positive signal to lock and ground signal to unlock(same wire). I put it in but when I try the passive entry and walk away from the car, it beeps but it doesn't lock the doors, they remain open. and when I click the lock button it usually doesn't lock, its weird when it decides to actually lock. it beeps 3 times when I walk away but doesn't lock, but when I hit the lock button it beeps once and locks sometimes. I checked the connection, its solid. any thoughts? do I need a replacement from amazon?

hi! i installed on my fiat bravo essence, with manual transmission but remote start doesnt work properly. manual start by button "start" is ok and another functions also is ok but remote start no. the car engine starts but dead after some seconds. can you help me to solve it?
p.s: my key chip is atacched to "ring" to recognize and allow the car starts normally.

Regarding the lock and unlock. Im sure my vehicle is negative locking trigger. But i keep blowimg fuse. Like you i will look for the remote locking reciever..and make my connections there. Can you explain me how you found the wires im the reciever to connect to
I had it installed in an FJ Cruiser 2007 when my alarm arms is connected to the horn and all the lights flash. The horn is very loud is there another way to wire so it's not as noisy? Also isn't only suppose to be the turn signals flash when you arm the alarm instead of all the lights?
My car is already have autocop center lock system.
Do i need to disconnect it?
Only two wire are coming from door of lock motor.

hello friend good night. I have a problem with a pke brand SPY I am installing it in a 2016 Renault Logan and the system turns on and after 10 seconds of starting the vehicle turns off again alone. disassemble the system and install it in my vehicle and it works perfect. could you give me some help what could it be ??? I installed 3 risers to each signal in general accessories, acc 1 and start but it has not worked for me. The transponder chip installs it in the antenna and the vehicle starts perfectly with the key and the hidden antenna. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this issue.

Very new to this stuff and confused how this works. Will it work on a 1998 bmw z3 with no ability to fob anything? Everything is done with key manually ya know. It does have a transponder chip and automatic windows of course. Am I to understand this sorta unit will turn my old car into a modern keyless entry with control over windows and trunk and door locks? Also I hear some of these units you can turn on ac with yer phone. Any suggestions to a good unit like that? If this will work on my car that is
2 things I know you could do, 1: take out the key starter entirely. And just hook the wires up directly to the key starter wires. 2: take out the brake startup mode, either cut the brake wires startup or bypass the brakes all together. You can just push the button and it starts without needing to push the brakes.

I buyed a Start Button System and I installed in my car, but I have a problem whit door lock system. my vehicle has a NEGATIVE 1-wire door lock system, and the Start Button System have lock line (negative trigger) and unlock line (negative trigger). Hey, not sure if you still around. I installed the same system and everything works as it should. However, every time I arm the module, it goes off after 30 seconds. Only when armed, no shock sensor installed. Car locks/unlocks/remote starts just fine

hey thanks bud! The way how remote start works is when the handbrake is engaged, the engine will be allowed to remote start. This is done with the handbrake signal wire (you can either connect this to the actual handbrake signal wire, or if you don't care for the handbrake to always be engaged, just connect the handbrake signal wire to a ground connection). Hope this helps.

hey bud...this system is a complete alarm system, which means you'll need to tap into more wires. Also, you will need to replace the old start stop button with the new one in this kit; so the wires you used there would be the same wires you use with the start/stop button in this kit. All of the other wires in this kit would correspond to various other features of the kit. Let me know if you have any other questions ;) Also, if your vehicle has a chip in the key, then you would need to get an immobiliser bypass module as well (also in the description).
Great video! Can you still use your old key to open the door and turn on ignition if for some reason the key fob fails?
this system replaces your whole original alarm system. As such, you won't be able to use your old key fob to open the door or start the engine. You can use the physical key to get into the car though.

Hey Auto DIY guy I installed the PKE system but also kept the key ignition system along just for safety. The problem now is the vehicle starts instantly with the key ignition but takes a very long time with the start-stop switch. What might be the problem?
it may be something linked to a potential immobilizer built into your car.

Hi i have an aftermarket clifford alarm sustem is there a way to keep that functioning with the same peoximity key fob that unlocks so that i dont need to disarm the alarm every time i try to go into the car?
unfortunately you must replace your existing alarm system with this one to use any of these features.

I use a piece of wire and connected the two ends wrapp the key with it and one or two loops on the immbilizer sensor. No need a bypass module.
Hi man, i need help, i have the same pke system as you but i have a few problems in the instalation. When i conect the system i have one cable ( in my case is blue, supposed to be conected to the + cable at the oil pump) and i cant find a + cable in the oil pump, also the system doesn't close the doors when im driving and sometimes the horn sounds untill im driving the car..... I hope you can help me or anyone else know how to fix it. Cheers!!!

Brother is this safe? I bought from eBay and it turnt out it burn my cables underneath the ignition box. It was fixed but I believed was just bad installation by my cousin mechanic. I belive he used tin wire. What your take? This is safe is just followings instructions??? Thank you.

Hey bud... Unfortunately not, as you will need to disconnect the ignition wiring harness (the one that the key is connected to)
How is the anti-higjacking function activated?
For the central locking system, do I need to find the master switch of the doors? In my case, it is on the center console. And after finding it, just find out if it's positive or negative trigger and connect accordingly, right? Another thing worth mentioning is that on my key fob, I press unlock I get driver's door first unlocked and pressing a second time gets all of the door open, but I guess if the central locking wiring of the unit is connected to the master switch it would override this feature, am I right?
That's a difficult one to answer. I would recommend that since you're replacing the existing alarm system of your vehicle, to check it out online and see how the installation guide describes that process. With regards to the opening of just the driver's door, and then the passenger's door, I would assume that would have been controlled by the factory alarm, and not a physical feature. Hope that helps!
