Some advice ...usually belts can go 100,000 miles I seen it .. But if you replace belt replace tensioner .. They do wear out and break etc .. At my garage I always suggest to do that ... I seen people break down on highway with kids and new belt came off at dark etc .. In bad areas like Philly Express .. It's not worth it if you have mileage on car replace both ....
If your belt continues to keep popping off? But no noise from pulley would me replacing the tensioner stop it from coming off ? None of the parts are loose also
Well good question. First the spring was bad on the inside and you can't replace that unfortunately and just to get the pully is almost the same price as the whole assembly
Literally a 15 min job after watching your vid. Thanks for uploading it.
Assuming this is the 4-cylinder? The V6 has a different pulley set-up, from what I've seen. Thanks

Sounds like your belt is either stretched or you don't have it adjusted right try Re adjusting attention first
Will this part being bad cause a rattling noise while idling in reverse?
Most of the time yess but if the noise keeps going off you might have to replace the idlers and the tensioner
Would a bad tensioner cause the belt to slip off?
If it's week, then yes or your belt could possibly be stretched out
Why did you replace the whole assembly? Probably just needed to replace the pulley.
