Hello💫 I’m Japanese and I felt happy to see that you had Matcha in your daily life. This video helps me to learn English and how to get enough protein 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I have a pre diabetes and the way you eat with high protein meals are exactly what doctor told me to do. Thank you for sharing this !!!! your meals look so good and so healthy !! ❤❤❤
Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t chia seeds need to soak before consuming, or at least have a chance to mix in and settle with things like yogurt? I believe “raw” (unsoaked) chia seeds are not good for your intestines
Gotchu! It's definitely better absorbed when soaked but my nutritionist was actually the one who recommended just adding them to my bowls/recipes like it regularly is so I know it's also safe to eat that way :)
This was so helpful! I was able to hit 90-100 grams while I was pregnant and starving all day long, but I’ve struggled since then. This was great inspiration on how to diversify my protein intake so it’s not boring or an overwhelming amount of chicken breast.
Thank you so much!! I’ve been on a body recomp and it’s been a challenge getting to hit my protein goal daily, coming from barely eating any protein. You’ve given me some great ideas.❤
Thanks for sharing with us your healthy and yummy recipes! Question... have you ever used Next Level Diet? I got a custom high-protein meal plan from them and it's really working!
YAY glad to hear it 🫶I’ve never heard of it! Since I have my health coaching certifications and my hormone specialization + am a foodie I usually create my recipes myself :) do you have any recipes you’d recommend I try?
Thank you so much! I'm so glad that I found your channel. I'd been stuck in a rut eating the same high protein meals day after day, but these look so tasty and healthy. I'm excited to give them a try!
Loved this video! I just recently transitioned back to eating animal products after being vegan for 5 years. This helped me get some meal Inspo because I’ve literally just been eating the same meals over and over lol!
Omg looovee this vid!!!! I took so many screenshots of the meals and can’t wait to try them!! Love how creative, colorful, and delicious they looked and always love a protein forward meal plan! Amazing keep it up :) thank you ❤❤❤
your videos have been super motivating! as a fellow 24 year old I would really love to cook healthy and tasty meals for myself and my bf as well. saved your pdf and I'm looking forward to your future videos, keep the high protein low calorie meals coming! :)
Loved the video and recipes and meal prep - my husband is trying to build more muscle with added protein - definitely going to try the eggs with cottage cheese - do you ever crave red meat for more iron?
Omg YAY, pls let me know which ones you recreate! Your comment actually made me realize that I didn’t show any recipes with red meat in the video but i do eat it (just a little more occasionally)! I love taco bowls with ground beef, homemade burgers (or getting one when I’m out!), meatballs etc :) def eat a lot of meat when I’m with my Brazilian fam too!
This was so relaxing to watch and I got some great meal ideas. Just be mindful that the protein from collagen is not the same as a whole protein source. It is missing eaas's that allow it to be used like other protein sources. That's why the nutritional info says 0% of your daily values. Still amazing for the body just not a whole protein source.
I just stumbled on your video and decided to check you out. I've been thinking about making some lifestyle changes in effort to gain more energy and shave some pounds. Thank you for showing that food can be good and healthy for our body while tasting great! Blessings ❤
It's 21G in the entire can (so the entire recipe for the air fried chickpeas) but since I only ate like 1/4 ish of the recipe I did end up eating only like ~6g from that specifically !
Oh love your video from Thailand!!! Pls keep going i‘m a new subs for your channel Ps. Would you mind to tell me about name of fonts those you used? 💖☺️
Since collagen isn't a complete protein, do you count it in your daily protein goal? I used to count it but stopped. Some articles I've read say to count it while others say not to.
This is my fave: bewellbykelly.com/products/chocolate-grass-fed-beef-protein-powder Trying to secure a discount code or something bc I use it every single day!
Too much protein is hard on the kidneys too! It’s healthier to eat a higher amount of good fats and moderate amounts protein low sodium even less sugar and carbs
@@TheCarolinaLifestyle I’m trying to fix my hair as it’s thinning quite a bit and hair needs protein which i hardly have, also trying to lose weight. Im 82kg and 160cm
I don't personally!!! As someone who has struggled with my relationship to food in the past and been in recovery to find a balanced + loving relationship with my body I prefer to focus on quality of food and making yummy recipes and don't really count my macros!
I was a pescetarian, then I switched to eating organic meat because I was feeling weak. I used to eat a lot like you, I loved yogurt, wild caught salmon, pasture raised chicken and beef etc. I was doing ok , I was above average for my age (now 53), but I wasn't thriving. Then I switched to vegan diet with supplements, now I feel like my age is going backwards, whole foods plant based vegan diet with supplements worked for me. I'm not a militant vegan , so , I'm not judging, to each their own. I saw unhealthy vegans, and healthy meat eaters.
You can 100% get enough protein on a plant based diet. Everyone is different so take everything with a grain of salt… animal protein is not the only way to get protein 😂
You definitely can get protein in with plant based sources! I just found that when I was eating plant based I ended up eating a lot of soy products for my protein (tofu, edemame, etc) and my body has def responded a lot better to animal protein!! But everyone is SO unique and bioindividuality is so real, so yes, take everything with a grain of salt

As far as I know, you're right because chia seeds absorb lots of moisture, so eating it raw is not the smartest thing
Yes you’re right lol I was about to comment this 😅
This was perfect! The meals, the details of the meal preparation, and the blog style. 10/10
OMG YAYYYY SO GLAD TO HEAR❤
Instead of the music and text, I wish she would just talk and explain what she was doing / listen as we go / or a voice over
Try soaking the chia seeds in water. Eating dry chia seeds can cause blockage because of how fast they absorb liquid and swell
Gotchu! It's definitely better absorbed when soaked but my nutritionist was actually the one who recommended just adding them to my bowls/recipes like it regularly is so I know it's also safe to eat that way :)
Protein can be taxing to the kidneys, so don't overdo it, especially if you have risk factors

It’s pretty cool how much protein you’re able to add to your drinks as well
I KNOW RIGHT! Underrated 🙌🏼
That yogurt bowl looks amazing! The salmon salad bowl too.

you can only asborb 25-30g of protein every 2-3hrs that’s why body builders eat every 2-3 hrs to maximize results.

OMG SO GLAD YOU FOUND THE CHANNEL!! sending you good luck on your journey :)
This was incredibly helpful and inspiring.
That literally makes me so happy to hear!!!
Wait aren’t you supposed to activate the chia seeds ?
Please someone tell me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure you should not wash raw meat at all because it spreads bacteria on your sink/kitchen. 😮
I probably don't have to, but I usually do just rinse it. But I also always wipe my counters down after cooking and I leave proteins to prepare last!
What does the yogurt do on the chicken ? Its for flavor or more protein ?
The chickpea is not 21gm of protein per can…it’s more like 9gm
I love all your recipes! 😊
It is if you use the whole jar like she did.
@@EMVelez I realize that after posting thx
It's 21G in the entire can (so the entire recipe for the air fried chickpeas) but since I only ate like 1/4 ish of the recipe I did end up eating only like ~6g from that specifically !

Since collagen isn't a complete protein, do you count it in your daily protein goal? I used to count it but stopped. Some articles I've read say to count it while others say not to.
Realizing after I watched more that you do count your collagen 😊
u gotta crush or soak the chia seeds to get nutrition from them
what protein powder do you use?

My problem is not protein but vegetables....i need to learn to prioritise them since I can eat animals all day and then shocked Im constipated lol
Great informative video appreciate it
Also remember you can only absorb 20-25 grams of protein in 2 hours so any more than that in a meal isn’t going to be absorbed
Simple google search debunks that. Happy eating!
That’s actually false. Total protein matters and there is no cap on protein, if it high it’ll just take a longer amount of time to digest
Love it!!!
love YOU!
Too much protein is hard on the kidneys too! It’s healthier to eat a higher amount of good fats and moderate amounts protein low sodium even less sugar and carbs
Can you put how many calories for each meal
I don't track calories!!!
How much protein should you be eating
50 grams minimum for basic maintenance. More if you are very active or trying to add muscle.
Depends on your body weight and height but if you're trying to see better results from your workouts and build muscle I'd say to aim for 100G a day!
@@TheCarolinaLifestyle I’m trying to fix my hair as it’s thinning quite a bit and hair needs protein which i hardly have, also trying to lose weight. Im 82kg and 160cm
For hair growth, protein is important sure, but you don’t need that much… Focus more on supporting your thyroid (getting enough iodine in)!
Cool video❤❤❤
so nice
i thought u shouldnt eat more than 30ish grams of prot per meal?
Thanks!
Enjoy
I’ve never heard anyone mangle the name of that yogurt like that 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I know it sounds weird to pronounce Fage like that but apparently it’s how you pronounce it according to the label lol

Animal protein (as well as many other nutrients in animal food) is much more bioavailable than that which exists in plants.
This would be interesting to see a 100g+ vegetarian or vegan protein day because I’ve never seen it.

I’m guessing you spend at least $500 a month on food/drink and protein powders. Probably more.
Protein powder I only buy like 1-2 that last me over 3-4 months and each is $60 but NGL I do spend a lot of money on food LOL
