C'mon, Tyler, you've been in the used car business - that GM is messing with you. He thinks he can take you for a ride, literally. Never let a good crisis like COVID-19 go to waste, even in the used car business.
I hear that the older a car is the more likely it is to contract the virus and die.
Well, sales of exotic cars will be going down unless the price is lowered to entice buyers. So in order to keep a modest spread, the dealer also has to pay less for any new inventory too.

I'm thinking the dealer is just giving Tyler a jerk around and using this panic as an excuse. I'd shop else where and tell them to pound sand that offer was so insulting. Also I think they're fools, cause either way they're going to be sitting on a Ferrari FF or that desirable manual Lambo until the panic subsides. Its going to be WAY easier to move the Lambo than the FF once people start buying cars again, they'll sit on that FF forever IMO.

I would dump that dealer's like a bad date, completely attempting to take advantage of their consumers.
Agreed. That email was shameful. I could understand it if they said, "We don't really have enough demand for it to stay in inventory. I shopped it wholesale and the highest offer was downright insulting. If you really need to unload it, let me know. We can do that, but I wouldn't advise it as they only offered 65k for it. If you can hang onto it for a few months, I'm sure we can do better."

@@---cr8nw Problem is, the dealer also need the money. In order to keep their business running, they need Tyler and other customers to do business quickly. They can't afford to tell their customers to wait two months for the storm to pass.
From what I hear, I don't think that they even trying to make new purchases. They're just trying to clear out their current stocks, so they can hold on to more cash. That's why they refer Tyler's car to the wholesale buyer.
And to be fair, he did say straightforward from the get go that under the current economic condition, they couldn't give the number they knew Tyler was expecting and even still trying to give a better number for the FF. I don't see anything wrong with the email. Tyler seem to understand and wasn't making a big deal out of it. As usual, the people that are most offended are the keyboard warriors of UA-cam.
i would be embarrassed to throw numbers like the dealer did - that dealer should be 100% avoided at all costs. really unethical low-balling like they did.

What is the fascination with hoarding lavatory paper on the off chance you may get what is basically flu. I've had flu, and it doesn't kill you. At least I don't think I'm dead. And another thing. Flu doesn't increase the amount of faeces you produce, it just changes the consistency from a solid to a liquid. The amount of required visits to the lavatory are the same as when you don't have flu, as is the amount of lavatory paper required. So panic buying every yard of lavatory paper you can get your hands on is utterly pointless. Not to mention bloody selfish and deeply annoying to those of us who are not frightened little snowflakes and only want to buy one pack of 4 rolls.
