Think of it like appetizers and your main meal. If you’re a second choice, ppl order appetizers to put a little something on their stomach before their full meal. Something that they like, They nibble on it for a while, just something to keep them occupied for the time being. But when that full course meal comes, the meal they really want, whether they’re done with the appetizer or not, they sit it to the side and go with their main meal.
Technically, ppl give excuses and empty promises to keep one in their pocket, give you a little bit of hope, keep one satisfied enough to stay around so they don’t find anyone else while they go after their main option or what they really want. If they get it, they’re done with the other person. If not, they go to the second option. 🤷🏾♀️

A lot of men really wrestle w lust. Best bet is to find a God fearing man that is trying to conquer his lust. I know someone who got married in their 40s. He was not her first choice, probably more like her 3rd choice or 4th, but because she was logical, she married him because he was kind to her as other men probably treated her like their second choice. Because her husband is kind to her, she tolerates all the other annoying habits like his clinginess and lack of motivation.

See that’s the problem, men are giving you guys the blue print on to how to keep a man and y’all still disregard or try to deflect good advice by trying to correlate it with a totally different scenario. There’s two factors you guys over looked, 1st was that the shorty was his 1st priority and dropped down to 2nd by trying to rush a situation, and the 2nd factor was that she KNEW he was out of her league, did not want to be serious and she even admitted she wasn’t on his level of life style. So the men on the panel said in response to her revelation was to be more patient. Especially when all you have to offer is some Pussy that he can get from every other women. Women love to date up for security but don’t like dealing with what comes with that life style. Most women end up with their 2nd 3rd 4th etc choice. This is because at the height of their sexual market value they pursue what they WANT because they have something to barter with. As their SMV declines they tend to have to settle more and more. I always tell men, especially accomplished men, if you didnt get her in her 20s, preferably early 20s, you werent her 1st choice.
I agree lol with that is a great point. From a biological point most women in their late teens, early 20s are at their sexual height in their younger age. So you usually go for the person you're physically attracted to the most at that age. As you get older you're more concerned about the personality, what the man has to offer, stability, protection, and more.
Rico constantly misses the point though. Not sure if it's a persona he takes up for this show or that's how he is in real life. If it's the latter, I shudder to think about how his partner would have to jump through hoops to communicate.
This last question to Jada summarises the disconnect between men and women. Men feel like the totality of their display of affection is financial - funds, trips, shopping - and sex. Women require emotional support and mental stimulation as well. If a man did his best in these areas, most women would feel secure.
Unless you are the first person someone has ever dated, you’re always technically going to be a second choice.
