Every time I try to scribble journal, my mind goes blank, and I can't think of a thing to write! I end up doing pretend writing, like a child does when they try to write like a grown up!

Me too, so I copy a poem or something I like from a book. If I get a word wrong or miss a line it doesn't matter.
