Carolyn, thanks for sharing your creative spirit with artist worldwide.........it's what art is all about and what makes you such a terrific person..........artist to artist....mraz
This was awesome- can't wait to go try it. I also loved your fun yet matter of fact delivery- I don't like cleaning off the little strings of hot glue either!
Great technique, especially the way to flatten the hot glue designs. Another crafter irons hers through a cloth on top. Going to share your vid with her. Your prints are beautiful! TFS!
I made a stamp out of hot glue. I want to use it to paint my floor. It worked but not as great as I was hoping. Your tips with flipping it over to flatten it out , should be just the trick I needed. Awesome tips thanks so much!!
OMG! Carolyn...why didn't you make this video before I went live on Thursday??? lol I made my own glue gun stamps and I love the bumpies and wavies in mine BUT the second plate was needed for sure. I will say that I did learn to have something soft under my paper to stamp on, that helps to transfer the paint directly but I learned the hard way. I can't wait to get home and make more and do it your way so I will get better results. thanks for the super great tips!!!!
Carolyn, thank you for this. I can't wait to try this with my kids. We just made a gel plate the other day and are loving it! Could you please tell me what sort of glue gun this is? Our glue guns don't flow like this. I was thinking you rs is a high temp glue gun? Can't wait to watch all your vids.
Excellent communication! I tried about 6 other hot-glue-stencil videos before I found yours and their rambling ruined the messages they were trying to communicate. As a speech & debate teacher, I give you an A++! Thank you!
very cool!! =) I don't have a craft matt... do you think a piece of glass would work the same way? (to flip onto) I don't have a gel press plate either... but... I still think it's a neat idea. =) You got some cool patterns. =)
Thumbs up to your enthusiasm, straight-to-the-point explanations, no-fussing-around talk ! Bravo ! Love it and Thanks !
Very helpful tips and you are a great presenter!
I like to use corks as handles for small cardboard stamps. I will flip them over now, and use the gel plate! Great suggestions, thanks!

It just needs to be something the hot glue won't stick to - maybe put a thin thin layer of vaseline on a piece of glass to be sure it won't stick?
Ok. Thank you. =)
Can anyone, please recommend a craft mat? Thank you! :)
Noit Arts tip is to iron them
I own 100 stencils, now I see this. 🙄. Thanks, this will be useful.
