How to Gel Print on Tissue Paper

- Can you use tissue paper on a gel plate? Absolutely! Tissue paper works great for gel printing! There's one really important (and easy) thing to do to make the paper come off the plate without ripping.

Those “failures” and “mistakes” that I had so harshly criticized myself about actually became true gifts as soon as I started saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly! I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

You can get very sturdy tissue paper from medical supply on rolls in different widths. The kind that they use on the examination tables. Very resonably priced, too...TFS!
Carnival Tissue paper is strong enough to stand up to lots of paint and not tear.
Love using tissue paper. Leonie Pujol showed us how to use it to clean stamps, mop up ink, paint etc then use it in your projects

I found a piece of tissue paper in one of my new wife beaters a couple days ago and tried printing on it.
Got a nice ghost and partial ghost along after the original.
I like them but think they would have looked much better if the paper had been crumpled and left with heavy creases for the pulls.

On which sheet u painted before transferring on tissue paper? Is that ohp sheet
Carol oh my, I cannot see your supply lists or other things referred to in your videos. My Fire tablet says clearview text not permitted. Do you have any idea what might fix that for me? I really would like to try some if your uneasy. They are awesome.

Hi Carolyn :-) So.... is this the ordinary, fragile type of tissue paper you're using ... or the stronger "wet strength" type?
